Lights Alone
Those Living Alone

I ask for prayer for those of us who live alone and are suddenly faced with a situation, chronic illness, accidents, disease or any dis-orders or loss that limit or seclude us more than we would choose.

Once we were free and strong, helping others, now we pray for someone special to rediscover us, that we may share the things that in their most simple form have become ever more beautiful.

We ask that you do not forget us. We still "are" .

Remember us at bedtime, when you say goodnight to another, that we may feel your prescence.

Lift up our Animal Children for blessings, as they give so freely of love and devotion, and pray that we may run with them again.

Hold our hand within your heart as you might hold a beloved, and pray that we may again one day, find our hands clasped with another.

My brother buried my mother's ashes yesterday. I have never heard her say one thing about being cremated. My brother gave the eulogy so he wouldn't have to pay the preacher 100.00, they used no vehicles from the funeral home. In other words it was a skinflint funeral. I am in a wheelchair and do you know none of the funeral homes in this city have handicapped accessible vans for people attending funerals. I would have had to ride a bus to my mother's funeral. My Psychiatrist told me not to go. And I think it was very good advice. I hate to say this but my mother did not care for me. She really (secretly) hated me because I was just like my father. She said that on so many occasions I will never forget it.
My sister skipped school one day and got caught. My mother came home from work and said, "Nancy I am surprised at you, I would expect this of Barbara" I have never skipped school in my life. NEVER. If I wanted to stay home I just told her period end of story. I was eight years old in third grade when I started picking up my younger sister from school (we were in the same school) going to the nursery to pick up my brother (he was a baby) and my parents wanted to save the extra money the two hours it would cost. I took them all home. Put my brother in his crib and changed him if he needed it, my sister went out to play, she knew when to be in. Then I cleaned the house and had supper/dinner on the table by 5:00 every single day of my life after that.
Then when I was old enough to get a job - I had to pay rent for my own room, and still share it with my sister. Geez this is long. Sorry.

You know it's not God that makes bad things happen, it is Satan. But I am tired of waiting for Jesus to come back. I think it is time. Way past time. There needs to be a change with a fresh wind blowing and beauty all around and enough to eat and worry be gone (Worry be Gone in a can produced by Barbara. Just spray it in the air and worry will be gone). Right like that could happen. I am 54 and starting to get apathetic because I cannot see any evidence of Christianity or Christians at all, I see a lot of Muslims but no Christians. Unless you are old and black in the US. Even most of the services they hold, they do not have a wheelchair accessible van. Neither does the taxi services around here at any costs. The bus is all you have. I refused to take a bus to my mother's funeral with her ashes there to see the Billings Show, my brother and his family playing music and my brother giving the eulogy to save 100.00 and my daughter not talking to me and she has turned my granddaughters against me. I spent five months in a homeless shelter and tried to get her to bring the girls over and she replied with email saying "how would people look at me if they knew my mother was in a homeless shelter and I didnt' do anything about it and I can and what kind of people live in homeless shelters anyway". It was all about her as her entire growing up was All about the Ice Queen (that's what I call her.)

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for revealing yourself to me and making me realize that I am not alone. I know that there are other people out there that are lonely and feel the same way that I do. I know that will find a perfect suitor for me and that I know that I have fellow sisters and brothers that are alone or feel like they do deeserve someone special in there life. I pray for those that have the same feelings like I do and ask that you reveal yourself to them so that they can have the courage to know that they are not alone. In your precious name I pray all of these things, Amen.

I ask that you protect our loved ones today , on the road, and in my heart. Help my family to realize my sickness is REAL and not in my head.
That makes me lonely too.

My fiance and the man I thought was my best friend and person I would grow old with recently broke up with me, completely out of the blue. I ask for your prayers during this difficult time; prayers that I will have faith in God's plans for me, and the patience to see those plans come to fruit. My heart is with all of you suffering loneliness...but remember that together in God we are all one family.

It's 12:31 am and I've had a rough night. I've been depressed since Christmas and I have been crying constantly. I've been alone since my divorce of nearly 7 years ago. My daughter is gone most of the time. I have contemplated committing suicide because the pain is so great. If I have to live my life alone the rest of my life, I would rather die now than to suffer suffer more pain. No one seems to understand how I feel. I came across this site and I feel for all of you who are in the same situation as me. I keep praying that God will send me a life partner to share my life with. But he has not come.

JS123~In response to what you wrote on 12/29/06: Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in her life, on earth as it is in Heaven. Make her whole and complete in You, Lord. May she find out who she is in Christ, and know that You are always with her--You promised to never leave nor forsake her. Lord, Your Word said that it is not good for man to be alone. I thank You right now, for sending her a Godly mate to spend the rest of her life with, Lord. Until then, may she find peace and joy which only comes from You. May she use this time, to dive deeper into Your Word. You will be everything she needs until You send her that special someone. And when he doesn't come as quickly as she would like, may she not grow weary, Lord. But, may she trust and believe that he will come. May she never give up on life, because You placed her here for a reason. Reveal to her what that reason is, Lord. May she have increased strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure--especially during the holidays, Lord. I thank You for removing the pain and the thoughts of suicide. May she never end her life, because You have something else for her to do, Lord--that is why she's still here. Thank You. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Hi. Would you be so kind to pray for me. For my job success and financial prosperity and that God will bring me together with the right woman. I blew it with a woman named Robyn (there may still be a chance, but doubtful). Have been really down. Thanks so very much and God Bless YOU for your kind and unselfish prayers for others.

AGTZ~In response to what you wrote on 1/19/07: If you want a relationship with Robyn, then you've got to stop saying things like "you're doubtful that there is a chance for the two of you". Start calling those things that are not as though they were.
