Hello Sandi, (blueskiesdoisee), I'm so very happy that you found this Circle also. I'm so very sorry to read about your Jeff, that is truly tragic. My heart goes out to you, being the one who found your beloved Jeff. I can well imagine how those images haunt you, it must truly be devastating. When we lose a child, our lives become split in two, the one we shared with our child, and then the one we try to regain, a very different life, after their passing. You're still grieving very deeply, Sandi, and that's alright, everybody grieves at their own pace. I lost my son to an illness, so I just can't imagine the pain you're experiencing over your tragic loss of your Jeff. Losing a child to suicide and then being the one to find him must have a pain all of it's own, God bless you. My fervent prayer for you is that those bad memories subside, and you find some peace in your heart and mind. I'm happy to hear that you've reached out for help, and I also pray that you have support from loving friends and family, for it's too hard a road to travel down alone.
We will pray and storm Heaven for you that those images will be replaced by good memories of Jeff, his love for you and your love for him, and that you do receive strength and peace from Our Heavenly Father. Hi Sandy, I just got back from putting a memorial in the paper.It was beautiful to me and the words bring comfort to me.You were talking about how often you see Chris,that is probably how it will be with Jimmy.I'm like you i know they have lives of their own but you still want them close.My son says our town is to small,nothing going on.But i am older so it is just fine for me.All i want is peace and quiet as much as possible.But with the Lords guidance it will work out.Thank you for your support and prayers.Love,Barb

Hi Yvonne,Bless your heart,you sure did have empty nest syndrome,didn't you? I am glad that most of your children live near by.And what a wonderful gift from God for your son Aaron to go into the ministry.It is so touching to hear of young people working for our Lord.I know you are thrilled.Thanks so much for your love and prayers.I am having a rough time right now but with all the support and love from you all i will get through it.I just thank God for all he has done for me these last three years.I just can't imagine how anyone could get through the things that happen to us in everyday life without him.Please know that my prayers and love are also with you and your family.Love,Barb

God's Blessing on each and everyone here at this wonderful circle of prayer as we celebrate Easter. May you all have a nice visit with family and friends and may God give peace in each heart as we ponder all of our blessings from Our Heavenly Father and the gift of His sacrifice of His Son on that cross. He gave His only Son so that we wouldn't have to go this tough raod alone and for that I am truly grateful.
My heart goes out to the newest members posting and am sorry for your loss (Blueskiesdoisee) of your precious son Jeff. I know this is the most difficult time for you. I wish I could take your pain away. I'm so sorry of what you had to go through at the time of his death. But please know that I am lifting you up to the Lord in prayer for peace and comfort to surround you. It's good that you went for help. I had to do the same. I didn't really know how depressed I actually was until after the dr put me on medication. It has helped some. It gives me hope to know that one day we will see our precious children again and that at some point on our journey of grief we will have only sweet memories of them. May God Bless you and wrap His loving arms around you. You are loved!

It is so wonderful to know that there are others out there with caring and compassionate hearts for those of us that have aching hearts for our (gone but not lost children). Dearest Barb, That is so neat that you put a memorial in the paper for Carol. These kinds of things we do for our children are part of our healing I believe. I pray that God will be with you as you come upon the 3rd anniversary of your sweet daughter's death. May He grant you all the love and comfort thatyou will need to get through this tough day ahead. Hi Barb, nice to see you posting again, I hope this past week has been somewhat restful and peaceful for you. Oh, I bet it was a special Memoriam you put into your newspaper, it does make you feel good, it's another way of honouring your child, (Carol) and the life they had. The Memoriams that we've put into the newspaper for Shane we've composed ourselves, what did you do for Carol, did you pick one of the beautiful ones they already have, or compose your own also? I just know it made you feel a little better to do that! I'm going to light a special candle for Carol when I attend Church on Sunday. Yes, you and I seem to be in the same boat, both of our other children living so far away, it is very hard to let go especially when you've lost one of your children, but as you say, they have a life to live too. I know your son will check in often on his mom, just like mine does, so it'll bring you some comfort. Yes, we live in a small city too, so our Chris had to leave here to go to a larger city for work in his field. We love it here, but we understand for his sake.
Try and have a blessed Easter, Barb, and as Carol's Anniversary Day approaches more prayers are being said for you, God love you.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers. I just found out that my sister in law has lung cancer. She had breast cancer, then pancreatic cancer, now lung cancer. She does not have much time. We all know we are going to go, it is just a matter of times. My Jeff will have everything arranged when I get to heaven.

Hi Sandy, It has been a pretty good week.A lot of thinking of all the things i shared with Carol and how much i miss her and a lot of tears.But i thought of so many things that brought a smile to my face.She really made me laugh.There will never be anyone like her.She was my baby.The memorial i put in the paper was one i had read that touched my heart.I usually put one i composed myself or a poem i wrote.But not this time.Thank you so for lighting a special candle for Carol.I will say a special prayer for Shane.We are having an Easter program tomorrow at church.I know we will be so blessed.I pray you and your family have a wonderful Easter.Love,Barb

Tomorrow is Easter! I hope each and everyone has as happy Easter as one can. Each and everyone of you have helped me. Only one that has gone thru what we all have can truely help eavh other. Your words come from the heart! We all feel the same and can express ourselfes. Diffrent times of the year we cry for our children. Some of us each and everyday. But the one thing we all have is each other. I pray for each and everyone on this site. I know words are words but we all share from the heart. I just don't know what to write to you right now. My fingers are typing on the keyboard, but my head just does not know what words to tell them to type.
I am still thinking about that penny and all that it means. I will always keep it on top of my computer to remind me of the many wonderful people that it brought into my life! You and so many others have been a blessing to me and my family. I just think of that penny as my "sense". Whenever I am down, and right now I am, I come to my computer and to my beliefnet community of friends and find so much wealth. One cent may not be worth much financially, but spiritually and emotionally it is worth millions. You are the reason for that!
I love you dearly for the impact you have had on my life and my family's!
