Dear (eaglenest61)- My heartfelt prayers go out to you and family. I cannot imagine the magnitude of grief and pain you and family have endured. I/We have lost both of my adult daughters; Diane, 36 and Cheryl, 41; but years apart. I now know what it feels like to be childless. Both deaths were tragic; no chance to say goodbye. I also know it will take time and lots of it; but with God’s help we will all continue our journey together; knowing by faith that one day there will be no more tears & sadness and that joy will come in the morning!

It is in loving memory of your beloved children that I dedicate the following poem written by my Baby daughter, Cheryl, whom God called home Friday, March 13, 2009. Again, my heartfelt prayers and compassion surrounds you and family, God love you.

I have just found this site.I am so sorry for mums who have lost their beloved child.I understand and live with the pain of a broken heart every day.My sweet youngest Son aged 25 used the car I gave him to fall asleep forever.We found him in our front garden where the angels came and took him to Heaven.That was 5 years ago and the ache for him will never leave.

I would like to post one of the many poems I have written since I lost my dear Son.I hope that it`s alright to do this here.
The Sweet Magnolia Tree.
With our two hands we laid you to rest beneath the sweet magnolia tree,
Wrapped all in white with your black belt beside you
It was what you had asked me to do.
Now there`s a special place waiting for me
With you my dear Son we one day will be
Together forever
Beneath the sweet magnolia tree.

If we can all get together and pray for me,brother,sister,father and mother, for we just lost my 36yr old Brother Christopher due to a heart attack on 9/20/2009, it is very painful for all of us. My Dad and Mom are taking it very hard, just like I am, please pray for us so we can have peace in our hearts, and continue with life, we will never forget our beloved brother,son,father of 4 little ones that he left behind. In Jesus Name i ask you brothers and sisters to pray for us.

God is able to help us all, even in times when it seems unbearable. I pray for all of you because I feel your pain. My daughter was hit and killed by a truck as she and her brother,cousin were crossing the road. She was a 12-year old angel. This happened in 2000, and today it still hurts, but God has turned some of the pain into praises. It is hard to imagine that one day you will smile again, but you will. Try not to dwell on the physical loss, but on the spiritual gain. I use to tell my son that when he cried uncontrollably about his sister's death. May Heaven smile upon you all.

Hello Sweetmagnolia, and welcome to our prayer circle of love, umderstanding, and compassion. I am sorry to read of your loss. Five years may seem like a long time to grieve, but we who have lost a beloved child know that there are times when it seems like yesterday. We who have lost a child or in some cases children, know that we will never get beyond the loss. But with God's help we will in time - and lots of it - learn ways to cope with our loss. I pray that God has surrounded you with a lot of local support and compassion.You can count on us here for heartfelt prayers and compassion and understanding. We will cry with you or just listen when you want to vent or just talk about our child or share a fond memory or two. Your poem brought tears to my eyes. I too write healing poetry and love to share from time to time. So please feel free to do so whenever you feel like it. I think the tears help get rid of some of the pain we carry around from day to day. When we share our feelings here whether it is a poem, prayer or something we've read, etc. it let's other angel moms/angel dads know that they are not alone. I believe that is what God would have us do.

Thank you for sharing your encouraging words with all the angel moms/angel dads here; especially the newly bereaved parents and other family and friends. To them, it is so hard to believe that the pain they are feeling now will in time become easier to bear. Bot it does take time and lots of it. Dear God, I come to offer prayer for the family of the precious little girl, Somer Thompson, that I saw on the news tonight. God please wrap your loving arms around them and give them the strength they so desperately need right now. My heart is heavy and my eyes are filled with tears. I pray that this family and all who knew and loved little Somer will find a measure of peace knowing that she is in heaven with God. I will forever believe that God sends His angels to lift our children out of their earthly shell shortly before their demise. I know God has the power to do what no earthly power or force can do. Soar with the angels precious little one; take your rest. You were loved by all your family and friends; but God loved you best.

We the members of [Bereaved Parents who have lost a child Prayer Circle] pray for the parents , family, and friends of Elizabeth Olten, whose body was found in a wooded area near Missouri's capital city on Friday, two days after she was last seen walking from a neighbor's home. May God give them strength and courage in the days, months, and years ahead, as only He can. May God let them know they are not alone in their time of loss, grief, and sorrow. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I pray … Amen!

Chris, Please know that you and all the other angel moms/dads have and always will be in my prayers. Our special dates are always hard in addition to other crosses we carry each and every day. I know this month has been very hard on you and family; especially having a double whammy; BD & HD so very close together. On special days especially, I pray that God will give us fond memories and peace of mind as only He can. I thank God every day for providing this circle of love where we can come and pray for others and know that we are prayed for also. Even during times when we can't get here, it helps to know that we are not alone and that someone some where is praying for all who have lost a child or other loved ones. To God be the glory!

I still pray for the soul my my beloved son Sean. He was lost in 1996 at the young age of 24. My son was a Sergeant in the USMC. His death was long and violent. I pray that he is truly at peace now.

Hello dear Angelmom Moira, I wasn't aware you had also lost a beloved child...did you tell me that once and with my terrible memory I've forgotten? If so, I'm truly sorry!
It had to be very, very hard on you, knowing he died a long, violent death, but if I know anything...I can assure you that he's in Heaven wrapped tightly by God's loving arms and I hope that give's you a measure of peace. Even though it's been a while since you lost your son, (its been 10 yrs. for me) time doesn't matter much, its always with us and sometimes we'll be hit out of 'left field' by a memory or event and we once again feel that terrible grief that crippled us in the beginning.Our love and prayers are with you and all other Moms, Dads, who've lost a much-loved child,

My prayers are with you all who have lost a child because I too have lost a son! It has been 4 years and a very difficult time in my life! I almost lost my marriage, my other son, family and friends thru this tragedy because I couldn't cope and didn't want to go on without my son, but I refused to turn it over completely to God at that time, since then I have just now finally completely turned it over to Him and things are getting better now! You have to let go and get on with your life that I know now and almost had to learned it a hard way, but God was with me and helped me make a great decision to go on without my son as hard as it was! So I tell each of you to please turn it over COMPLETELY to God and He will get you thru for this I know!!!!

Hello Everyone, ~ I can't believe I finally got in to submit a post. I tried for several hours late last night with no luck. Now that I'm here I'd just like to say a warm welcome to new members and please know you will be prayed for here. Lee Ann, Sue, I am so very sorry I didn't get here to submit posts on your special days. Please know that you were in my heartfelt prayers.
Yesterday marked the 8th month anniversary of my baby girl's home going. It was pretty emotional for me because yesterday just happened to be another Friday the 13th. I am just holding on to God as tight as I can; taking it one minute, one hour, one day at a time. I am forever grateful for all of the prayers that have been prayed for family and me. You're all in my prayers 24/7. I know from experience that praying for others helps to heal our own shattered hearts. I will continue to pray that God in His tender mercy will continue to help us deal with our loss one minute, one hour, one day at a time.
