Hi all my dear sisters. I am so sorry for nor posting earlier, I was on vacation for a week in Dominican Rep. we had a family reunion over there, it was really very nice to be with family again. I have been working a lot since I came back and have not read all the posts, but I promise that I will make time to read it. I didn't do much that day, just baked an apple pancake for myself (and Mother) for breakfast and then tried on clothes that people had given me to wear. People have been so generous; I'll end up with more clothes than I have at my own house right now. HaHa.
I do have a prayer request: Monday, Oct. 15 is the next court hearing about the restraining order against my husband. There have been several incidents that warn me that the restraining order needs to be kept active at this time. Pray that I can convince the judge of that and that I will remain calm just seeing my husband; that thought still sends my stomach into spasms of dread. Thank you all for your love and prayers!

Sorry it has been so long since I've posted. With school starting back, my car getting totaled and a host of other things I haven't had much time to do anything but ask God to keep you all in his care which I do every day.
Charlene, I don't know what is going on since I haven't read the back post' but know that you are in my prayers and that God will take care of you.
To the sisters I missed on your special days, you were all in my thoughts and prayers as you are all the time.
Well, I've got to get off of here as my class is coming back in.

The list took me about 3 days here and there. It was not on one page but all over. I copy and pasted them and put them on a doc then aranged them in order. Yes I tried to find things before and gave up. I only went back to page 357.
You are all most welcome! It is the least I can do for such good friends. Who are always there night or day, holiday or not!
You know? sometimes I just sit back and think about you all and this site I fell upon one day 4 years ago. I believe god sent us all here together. It is amazing and I do not take it for granted. I thank god and you'all (this circle of life)for being my smiles, my tears and my hope.

Hi Everyone,

Boy, it's really been quiet here lately. I kept checking in and saw only a few posts so far this week. I pray that means people are busy and not to far down. I finished that project I was working on, so I'll have more time to check in with my B'Net buddies. It's also been slow on other sites. I know many of us have a hard time with October. Remember, we are overcomers by the Blood of Jesus!

I had my first series of tests and everything is normal. For me that isn't the greatest of news cuz it means more tests. Each one will get more evasive. My Dr is calling me tonight to arrange for more tests. I refused to be stressed out about it.

Charlene, you are definitely in my prayers for Monday. I'm also glad you are getting "new" clothes. It's times like these that we realize that God truly is our Provider and Protecter.

Anita, so good to see you post. You don't need to apoligize, we know how busy you are in school, especially in the beginning. I'm so sorry to hear about your car being totaled. I pray you're ok and insurance will pay completely for a new car for you.

Selva, glad to see you back. I'm glad your family reunion went well for you. I know you were concerned as this being the first one. I really understand the busyness. For about two straight weeks I was helping a friend (my landlord) organize her finances for 2006. She had a deadline to file her taxes. I often thought of you and how crazy it gets for you during tax season. I was only dealing with one person, however, many properties were involved. In two weeks I'm going to start on 2007. Just entering information, so in April it won't be a nightmare. I promised I would take a day a week (around 4 hrs) until I'm finished.

Chris, thank you again for compiling that list, wow three days! I agree with you that God has been the One who brought us together. I don't take this group for granted either. Many times it has been the lifeline that I have needed. So thank you all for being here. Love and gratitude to all, Jane

Hi Everyone,

I just received a phone call from my daughter in law. A friend of hers has a little girl (1 yr) in critical condition in the hospital. She has swelling on the brain with no medical explanation. She had surgery, then was put into a coma. She was taken out of the coma only to have the swelling again. Now she is in a deeper coma and if she doesn't improve they will put her deeper. The parents are in the process of getting a divorce which made DCFS suspious. Specifically pray that this child will pull through with the least amount of brain damage. She is already blind in her left eye as a result of this. If there was abuse involved please pray the right person will be charged. All her symptoms happened at her babysitter's house, which will be checked into also. We're praying for God's mercy and justice to be done. I've posted this request on all the sites I'm on because of the importance of it. No one knows right now if abuse was involved. If it was, we pray the right person will be charged. I know that at times DCFS moves in quickly and takes the children before all the facts are known. Even after the parents have been cleared it can take a long time to get their children back. There is another child in the family, please pray for his protection. Love to all, Jane

I ask that You heal her and protect her. Please let this child pull through
this tragedy with no damage. I know You are the only One who can pull her through this. Your Will shall be done.

Dear Jane,
I am so sorry to read about the child you posted for. She is in my thoughts and prayers already. Please keep us posted on this. If it is abuse I pray they get the right one responsible for it.All too often they jump to conclusions without looking at all sides.
You are in my prayers also dear sister. I feel that your tests will all be fine. Keep us posted on that too.

OMG Jane,
How awful for that poor little one...only a year old and already blind in one eye from the brain inury she has! It bothers me so much to see children that ill, its a heartbreaker.
I pray the Holy Spirit reveal's the truth to all and that our dear, loving Divine Physician touch's her with His Hand and stop's any further damage. Please keep us updated,

Dear Sandy,

I know we have discussed this before, but I really hate change! It took me forever to update my profile. In the friends section, it said to click on "add friends", where is that? I gave up looking for it. Also, I use to just log in at the top. Now I discovered after about 15 min we log in by clicking community. In the past, once my profile was clicked, all my discussion groups and DG were listed. It was easy just to click. Now when I hit my profile, all I get is my profile and it closes the site I was on. The old way was so much easier to navigate the different discussion groups. Is there an easier way now? Really don't like complaining, but I hate losing time just trying to find my groups. This one is easy because it's on my favorites. I can have only one B'net site as a favorite. I'm sure I'll get use to this again, but right now I need help navigating around! I do thank you for all the work and time you put into the new system. Love, Jane

Hi Everyone,
Now that I'm done complaining, I have another serious prayer request. Right now I do not have any further information about the child from my last request.

This is a new one. A ten yr old girl, Taylor has been fighting cancer for at least a year and maybe more. Our church found about it a year ago. One of our members works with Taylor's mother, Tanya. Taylor is a vibrant Christian girl. Her cancer went into remission for a little while, but not long enough for her to have the bone marrow. As of Saturday's e-mail, her cancer has spread radically and there is no hope for remission or a remedy. This little girl has been so faithful to God during this whole awful ordeal. She fought it the best she could. Now she's tired and full of pain. I'm not quite sure how to specifically pray for this family. My first response was "God if your not going to supernaturally heal her, take her fast." Then this morning I heard, her purpose isn't finished yet, pray for total pain relief. So right now I am praying that until Jesus calls her home, God's mercy will totally fall on her. That her pain will be minimal (they are heavily medicating her) and that she is able to be alert enough to enjoy the days she has. Many of us are heart broken over this one because we really believed she would be healed here on earth. This is a real tough blow, especially to her family. She also has a younger sister who is really feeling abandoned right now. It's situations like this that make me realized how much I hate living in a fallen world. One Day we will live in the Kingdom of God and our fallen world forgotten. I'm beginning to really yearn for that day! Come Lord Jesus, Come! Love and gratitude to all, Jane

Just a quickly. I spoke with Charlene tonight. The restraining order has been lifted today. Charlene is asking for our prayers for her safety. I'm learning as well on the new Forums, trial and error :) so don't feel alone. We'll eventually feel at home on them, give it time.

I can completely and deeply understand the feelings that one has when they lose a child. i have lost a son at 2 mths old in February 2000 and another son was stillborn in April 2004. My prayers are with you and all families who have lost a child. God works in mysterious ways. and please remember He never leaves us or forsakes us and He wont ever give us more than we can handle. Hi Everyone,

This is just a quick update since I have to be at work soon. The baby I posted about has been brought out of the coma. As of last night, she showed no signs of life other than her heart beating. Definitely not a good sign. The doctors are afraid if she doesn't come back soon, the brain damage will be irreversible and she may never wake up. Her older brother is now with his aunt and DCFS is meeting with her this morning to check her out as a foster parent. I'm praying the baby will be healed supernaturally as this seems to be the only way this child will be able to have a normal life if she wakes up. As for Taylor, hospice has been called in. Taylor really wants to be baptised this Sunday so the prayer request is that she is well enough for that. Pray against any high temps and total fatigue, because both of those will keep her from being baptised.

Joyce, I'm so sorry I didn't post to you yesterday. I have no excuse except it slipped my mind and I am sorry. My prayers are with you.

Thanks for the update, although it doesn't sound very good for that poor little baby, God love her! But yes, God willing, may she have the miracle she needs and that's what I'll pray for her, along with the truth to come out. What a heartbreaking situation!

A more recent update on the baby. Today she is coughing, moving her toes, puckering her lips and eyelids fluttering. Praise the Lord! Now the doctors say she is responding right where she should be.
