Prayer Circles

JANE,
Thank you so much for your encouraging words and thank you for thinking of me yesterday! Things are very tense here. I don't know if I'm just tired from being gone most of last week or what but I can't seem to get much accomplished. I've done some laundry but that's about it. All the meals I fixed to have here while I was gone are mostly still here and I had to throw some of them out; but it's his money so he can't really say anything to me about wasting money.
I looked up all the verses about waiting on the Lord and printed them out. I'm going to read them now and maybe go to sleep early. :o)

Oh wow, big Congratulations Jane! I kinda thought it would lead to this, just a feeling, :) and I'm very happy for the both of you!!
Yes, forgive me all, I've been very busy with the Boards here that I moderate as well as personal things going on, my sister-in-law is still in the hospital, my own sister is having problems.
Yes, I heard from Jen, she's better, as a matter of fact tomorrow is her Birthday and its also Selva's special day for Sollange.
I don't know where everyone else is, I hope we hear from them to see how they're coping, doing! We care.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Your Son, I come to You on behalf of my sister Selva. Tomorrow is her daughter Solange's homegoing date and I know that her heart is heavy and has been heavy for the past several days. Father, please lift the heaviness off of my sister and give her peace that passes all understanding. Give her the comfort that only You can give. Let her know how much she is loved by You and by all of us here at the prayer circle. Father, let her feel all our arms around her in this time so that she will not feel alone in her valley. And when she comes through the valley to the other side after this day is over, give her strength to face the days ahead with joy and peace. Amen.

Father God, I also come to You on behalf of my sister Verna as this month on the 16th and the 31st are her special dates for her daughter Diane. Father, in Jesus' name, I ask You to comfort her and give her reassurance that You are with her. Give her comfort and peace that only You can give and let her know that You are walking through the valley with her and that You will bring her through to the other side. She was just starting to feel some joy again and I ask You to bring that joy back to her doublefold, that You would show her of Your great mercy and love for her. And Father, give her rest for her body so that she will recover physically from these trying days too. Amen.

Me too Jane - Lord knows it expresses my heartfelt wishes for our dear sister Selva today. I join Charlene and all our other dear sisters in prayer for our dear Selva throughout today and as Charlene said also in the days ahead. Charlene, you couldn't have posted a more heartfelt prayer for our sister, Selva, and also for me. God uses each of us to make known His love and concern for us during our valley times as well as during times of peace and even a measure of joy. Sometimes we make it here to express it and sometimes we just pray if something prevents us from getting to post it here. I already feel the results of all your prayers and I know that Selva does too.

Solange, stay close to your Mom today and send her a sign or two to let her know that you are with her in spirit today and that she is not alone. My love to you dear Solange and all the other angel kids and please give my Diane a hug from me; especially on tomorrow, her birthday!

Ah, our dear Miss V, my love and prayers for you especially moreso today on your precious Diane's Birthday. I pray the good memories of Birthday pasts surface more than painful memories, but if they do, let them come, you know that by now anyway. To All my dear sisters. Thank you all so much for your much needed prayers. I am a firm believer that prayers work, I have been in the Valley for many days now, yesterday I went to church and stayed a while after Mass, I felt a lot better when I left Thank God and your prayers. I know Solange is in Heaven with all of our dear Angel kids, but I miss her so much. My dear Sandy, Solange gave me one of her feathers as soon as I got up yesterday morning, also the evening before, she made sure that I know that she is close to me and very happy in Heaven. Dear Charlene,

Thank you so much for that poem. It is especially meaningful for me because it was written for a grandmother. I pray that things are calming a little in your household.

I am now wearing a ring on my left finger! Right now it seems as if 10 months is a very long time, however; I know when we look back we'll wonder where all the time went. Such is life. Love and gratitude to all, Jane

Sorry I didn't say this when you first announced it, but I think I was waiting to make sure it was real. How silly is that???? I'm sure to you it was and is very real. I'm happy for you and pray that your lives together will be focused on Christ and will be a reflection of His Church to others around you. Tell Mike congratulations too--he's getting a wonderful companion. :o)
I'm living in a semi-peaceful household right now; I haven't had a negative or angry word spoken to me in 5 DAYS! HaHa. I don't know if it's God closing the lion's mouth (as with Daniel) or it's the calm before the storm. I'm still attending church as much as I can and it's given me a totally different outlook on life.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you everyone who congratulated me. Yes, Charlene it is real, we see our pastor Sat night. I'm so happy things are calming down right now in your home. Going back to that church where you are loved was a great move.

As for me, I'm going back to work tomorrow after 6 days off. I'm not sure if it was a Lupus flareup or virus. In either case I was not feeling well, pretty achy and low temp. I now know that if I suspect a Lupus flareup, the first thing I have to do is increase my rest. Otherwise it will go into a major asthma attack which means a hospital stay. Except for Sunday, which was a very hectic day, that included leaving my car about a hour from my house, cuz it was overheating, I have been able to take a nap every day. Haven't done that in a long time.

It's been pretty quiet here lately. I pray that means everyone is busy and not down. Love and gratitude to all, Jane

Hello my dear sisters, ~ Now that my PC is running better, it may take a while but I will try to get caught up with reading and responding to post. Please know that I am mighty grateful for all the prayers and happy birthday wishes for my Diane. I didn’t do anything special; just spent some quiet time and enjoyed the peaceful moments God sent my way. So again, thank you all for the heartfelt prayers. Y’all remember now … it may be Thanksgiving or Christmas before I get caught up responding to posts because of the rewrites I am supposed to be working on [ha-ha!] so when I respond to a post written some time ago, do not go: “What is Verna/Miss V. talking about?” Ha-ha! God bless you angel moms, and thank you all for the joy you add to my life; and knowing I will never walk alone!
