Prayer Circles

FOR MARAHET (& Daughter):

Heavenly Father, I offer my prayers and the suffering of this day in hope that You look down on those still coping with the disease of chemical addiction...You offered Your only begotten Son through suffering so that we, as your children, would not suffer too...Please Dear Father, release those in denial and those who are captives of active chemical addiction from the bonds of the evil one, who lays the snare to entrap Your children...lead them to the True Fold where Jesus is the Good Shepherd, tending the Flock where they can be freed from bondage and live in Your Light.

Almighty Father, despise not this petition but in Your infinite mercy hear and answer this prayer.

Through the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus I pray. Amen

Eternal Father, please give Jacki hope in You. Grant her strength to overcome obstacles which lead to relapse, Courage to look forward with confidence and strength to just say "NO"...with hope in You, reassure her than anything is possible to a person who believes. Protect her and keep her safe in the Sacred Heart of the Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, Who takes away the sins of the world.

Lord have mercy. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father, for 4 years of sobriety and honest, clean living...I realize that, although I have accumulated a few "1 days at a time", that I cannot become complacent in anything I think OR do and I mustn't forget where I came from, ever. I am truly grateful for ALL that you have done for me, and I pray that those who visit this circle will come to better understand all that awaits them through a life in You which starts the recovery process 1 day at a time....

Blessed Laurel, I have read many of your prayers and I thank God for recovering addicts like you. I too have been blessed with the Lord's guidance since coming into recovery 7/13/97. I pray everyday for the still suffering addict. May God have mercy on them.

There are those of us who are spared to do the Will of God...this has become increasingly important to me in recovery. Giving of myself is very important in this recovery process, not only to shed light on the positive effects of a 1-day-at-a- time lifestyle, but also to be a living testament to the power of prayer and the ability to come to understand His Will for us. please pray for my friend that he will be healed both physically and mentally and that his family will stop enabling him and that i do what i can to make the situation better for all

Most Holy and Righteous Father, I thank you for all the people on this site that's concerned about other family or friends or themselves. Lord God, with your love,grace and mercy I ask you in Jesus name to show each and everyone how to help the lost and hurting souls. First of all you must seek God's Face and ask him to bring deliverance to these precious people because all they see is darkness. But through the prayers of this site they can find a glimmer of light and that is the word , it convicts and give us a godly sorrow of what we've done. I know it so well because a number of friends, family have been in this web of deceit for far too long. but I know God is able to do all but FAIL.. So I ask God to bring his love and comfort in all the people on this website and their family and friends and may the peace and love of God rule over their hearts, mind and spirit. And pray for my sister Janet, who is an alcoholic and doesn't realize the effects the alcohol has put on her. But the Devil is a lie and will not keep noone on this site God has made everyone of us Free, he's paid the ultimate price for freedom so walk in the freedom of Christ and command your blessings to come forth. God loves us all. Continue in the love of God and don't give up. Thank you for all of the people that have been placed in my life. Thank you for all of the experiences that I have had during my 39 years on you earth. Please Father take this addiction from my body and my mind. I realize that I have to do much work to do to see the Kingdom. Please continue to work in my life. God please give All the inspiration and insight to not only rely on your through prayer.....but to utilize all the healing agents you've provided in NATURE to make this a much easier transition and to lessen any desires and compulsions as they do their daily walks......thru your strength and your gifts.

i am asking for prayer for my son Ryan who is in rehabilitation for the second time; he is an heroin addict who has put himself and our family through so many trying times; it is hard to heal and we desperately need to heal and he needs prayer for the courage and strength to go through rehab and the recovery process. Dear Jesus:

You said, "ask and it shall be given; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you"; I humbly beseech You, with Your Omnipotent Power to free those who are addicted OR are adversely affected by loved ones that are addicted to be freed from the bondage of chemicals, and to be lead to the TRUE FOLD where YOU are the SHEPHERD in greener pastures. Allow them to bring Glory to Your Holy Name.

Failure (to surrender) is our biggest enemy...This takes courage and it definitely takes acceptance to things.
I cannot (alone) do for myself what He (God) can do for me..."anything is possible to a man who believes"...said Jesus.

Heavenly Father, please grant Ryan the relief he needs from You to put his life on the right path. Give him the courage to address his issues and grant him the desire to live a fuller life in Your Glory. In the Holy Name of Jesus, the Redeemer. Amen

In the name of Jesus I ask you to lift the addiction from my sister Ruth. She has struggled with it most of her life. Lord I ask you to deliver her and protect her. She is getting ready to start a year long program. Lord give her strength and cougar and guide her. Amen

I pray for all those suffering fron Addiction. I have a cousin who is addicted. He has been trying to get help for a year, He now just suffered a heart attack at 22. Please pray he can get the help he needs.

I am the wife of a crack cocaine user. We have been married for 15 years and we have 3 teenagers. My husband is a good person and still provides for his family. I am afraid because I do not know when the bottom may fall out. Should I stay and be supportive or should I leave. I am trying to be a christain wife and hold on to faith, but some days it seems impossible. Please pray for my strenght.

I offer prayer to my wife, Sandy S., a beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister... and Grandma to ten wonderful grandkids . Sandy needs spiritual assistance in stopping an awful tobacco habit that is endangering her health and also in the need to becoming health conscious. Sandy spiritual aid to help realize the need for regular care and self awareness.

Heavenly Father, I pray that Sandy and all others so afflicated with the horrible tobacco addiction be graced with your never-ending love.

I further pray that You may provide Sandy with the guidance, strength and hope, the Faith, and the desire to overcome this horrible addiction. This addiction - as all others - utlimately harms not only the abuser, but also all those others who love that person.

Lord, I pray that you give those loved ones the strength and the hope and the Faith to be sustained through the trials and tribulations of this problem and through to its healthy solution of addiction freedom. I pray that You give them and the abuser the necessary tools to work through this problem and ultimately restore them to a life free of addictions.

Please, Father, guide them to Your Peace. I pray through You, the One God, Forever and ever.
