Prayer Circles

Dear Lord Jesus,
Hear our prayers for our captive soliders. Keep them in your safe keeping, hold them in your hands and guard them from further harm. Soften the hearts of those who keep our soliders prisoners so they may treat them as they would want to be treated.

Heavenly Father and Mother
Protect these precious children as they are being held prisoners of war.
Comfort them and bring them home safe and please give comfort to those who love them.

LET US ALL PRAY LIKE WE NEVER HAVE PRAYED BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!
God protect our POW's, give them strength, hope, shelter and faith.
Everyone, please light candles, for the energy of protection ...GOD BLESS THEM!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the POW's and their blessed families. May God give them the strength they need to endure. I pray that God will change the hearts of the people who hold them captive. In the name of the Father, of the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Goddess, God, Tao, I ask that you comfort the captured POWs who followed Mr. Bush's orders into this war. I ask that you warm their hearts with your love, whisper hope in their ears, and comfort their distress. Please protect them from evil and harm, and bring them home as soon as possible.

My beloved G-d, please watch over our POW's and give them strenght and good health so that they may survive and be returned to their loved ones. Amen

My heart goes out to the POWS as they have many challenging days ahead of them. I pray Lord you will give them strength and courage to perserve through this. I pray for their families to help them through this time of frustration and pain as well. I pray for all POWS to return safely and for them to be treated properly. Please God protect them all. Amen

A Prayer for Shoshana,

Shoshana I post this prayer for you before I turn in for the night. I hope that no harm has come to you and that you are being treated humanely in all affairs. Many women see you as brave, a prevailing force and yet they are saddened that you are where you are. I am as well. Today I thought about my first post to you. I wrote I couldn’t imagine what you felt for I wasn’t in your shoes. That is the truth. And yet, as a former soldier, I do know of your convictions and your steadfast disposition in the face of adversity. You are me eight years ago. Even now as I sit here, I am in thought about my tour in the Army. Mines is a spirit that even now would go over to Iraq to assist/give aid in whatever way I could. But I would not take up arms because of my beliefs. I do not see this war as justifiable, but I do support the young men and women who are there fighting this conflict. I pray that for you, Allah (swt) gives you respite and mercy and deems it that you return home. I pray for your family; I saw your Mom and Dad interviewed on the Today Show, I believe. They were strong in disposition and prayerful of your swift and safe return home. They feel blessed and say that having your daughter with them is a healing. They say you cook well. When I heard this, I smiled because I can cook a few ‘mean’ dishes myself. :0) I really hope you get to come home and soon. Maybe you will sit at your computer as I do so many nights, and with your parents hovering over your shoulder, and your little girl sitting on your lap, you will read this message, and contact me. Maybe we will plan to cook a few dishes for our families together. But until then, my heart is with you. My tears, though we are as women supposed to be self-sufficient/self-reliant find a path easily down my cheek. They may register sadness, but in truth they strengthen me. In that they do, I give this found strength to you as you face the ordeal of being captive and separated from those who pray for you, as well as your family and all who love you.

Father I come to you in Jesus name. I pray that all powers and principalities that are influencing the hate, confusion, bloodshed and lack of human life behind terrorism and evil bow to your name as you said in Isaiah. I send you word to Iraq to enter the hearts of all Iraqi soldiers and Saddam supporters and bring the light of you love for man, so that they can treat the American and Allied POWs humanely, even if it is against the directives of their leaders. I pray for your saving grace for all our soldiers and all people. And I pray that you will give us victory in this war, so that your name will be glorified. We do not trust in our military strength, though we thank you for it, but we trust in you and to you we give all the glory for any success. In Jesus name.

Almight Creator
Father and Mother of us all.
Protect and guide all those who are prisoner of war in this conflict. May they feel Your prescence and know that You are with them. Inparticular when they feel most alone, when they must face the hatred of the others. Creator, I pray that they will know then, most of all, that You are with them. They are never alone. There is no place where You are not. There is nothing that is greater than You. Creator, I pray that we all experience Your prescence and feel guided to Your gentleness and compassion.

Heavenly Father, We come to you and lay these precious POW's at the foot of the cross and ask for their safeguarding. May this time of heartache and suffering for not only the POW's but for their families, have their richest encounter with you. We beg mercy for them dear lord. Please, please hear our prayer. Dear Lord and Father:

Please keep your protective watch over the prisoners of war during this traumatic time of capture. Comfort them, shine in their hearts, let them know that they have not been forgotten. I pray for the captors to provide decent and humane treatment to them all. I pray for you God to open up the enemys' hearts and shine into them with your loving goodness so that all hatred is purged. Also, I pray for the families and loved ones of these prisoners of war, for their comfort, and to remember to look to you God with their prayers and questions only you can answer. In Jesus sweet name, I pray, Amen.

Dear Father In Heaven. Our father that gave his only son that we might attain everlasting life, protect these troops and POW's. They have descended into to darkness. I pray for a miracle for the love of Jesus to enter the hearts of the enemy. I pray that the power of this sentence comfort the prisoners of war, all our troops, and all their loved ones, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." Amen

Dear God
There are things in this physical life we will never fully understand. We know that the fate and safety of these brave men and women are in your hands, and the hands of the universe. If it be your will, surround them with the light of your love and protection. Create for them a reality in which there is no pain or fear. Help them to focus on your love and the love of those who wait and pray for them so they remember that they are never alone. Allow there captures to see them as the sons and daughters of others and not as weapons of war. I know that our positive prayers have great strength- Permit the loving energy of those of us who pray for them bring them comfort and warmth in this their hour of need.
In their fear you can create a world of peace and safety becuase in you all things are possible.

Dear Lord:

I pray for the men and women who are serving to protect the freedom and rights of all people. I also pray for the POWs that they may be treated fairly and for their safe return. Amen.

May God protect and help our sevice men and end this war ASP!

My prayer for the men and women who are being held by the Iraqi soldiers:

In all things, Allah *swt* has a hand. For each of you I pray for your fair treatment and safe return to your families. Place your trust in the Creator and He will guide you out of the difficulty you face presently.
