MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL--from darknesss uncertainty and pain, into unconditional LOVE.Pray for me.

Please pray for my ex-husband, Derrick. He is a good man and his children love him dearly but he is an alcoholic. He has found himself in so many situations that he often has no idea how he got where he is. He wants to get his life on track and his children need him but he lacks strength and faith. Please pray for his recovery. He was hospitalized recently and his body is not able to take the abuse that it has all of these years. He's only 41 years old. I have tried all that I can but I believe only God can reach him now. Something happened to him as a teenager and he's never forgiven himself for his part. It seems the older he gets the more it torments him. Pray for him. I ask that God lead and guide him safely back from the darkness that he dwells in. He is still my friend and I hate to see him suffer as he is. Thank you everyone for your prayers.

Dear Lord,,I pray for Tommy's parents,My family lost a good friend last Jan 2001 to a heroin overdose in santa barbara, ca. Ernesto had a wonderful smile and a beautiful soul. He will be missed forever. I pray for his family and yur family that you will realize peace and tranquility. My own daughter is a manic depressive and has been for almost 9 yrs, she has recently had a manic episode because she was off her meds and stole from her very generous boss over $2000.00 this almost broke his heart and my heart, She has been in psyche hospitals 2 times and she is returning again tomorrow for an assessment and probably a stay there to get her on the right meds and some more consouling,,I know this is a lifelong problem but it hurts me and my family very much and she has a little boy 4 yrs old who needs his Mom to beOK,, SO pls pray for her to get better and stay on her meds,, Iwill pray for Tommy and his family in my daily prayers!

Heavenly Father,
I lift up Tommys family and friends..all those that knew him. I pray that you will give them peace, mercy, and help them through this tough time. I lift up all the people that are in a place that Tommy was in...I pray that you will speak to their hearts and help them through the addiction...through the pain and sufferings. For whatever reason, people are hurting help them keep there eyes on you and not the strom...help them get rid of this addiction...help Satan let go of them and watch over people suffering and hurting...Lord we thank you for your blessings..If Tommy is with you Lord we all know his in a better place. Thank You Heavenly Father.

PRAY FOR MY SON FROM HIS DARKEST HOUR


My son J.G.A., is a wonderful young man, however he doesn't know it himself. Alcohol has made his young life, like a roller coaster.

Almighty Father in heaven, please hear my prayers; bring your Grace to J.G.A., and all others that are suffering from the effects of drugs and alcohol. Dear Jesus, son of God, open his eyes and those like him, so that they can see, that the path to true happiness, is following your guidance, your love, your forgiveness, your glory. Enter them Lord, let them feel what true happiness is, let them know your Grace to overcome the bad choices they have made to this point in their lives. Lord glorify them with your presence. Heal them Almighty God, so that they will hurt no more and that they may live a fulfilling life here on earth, alife of truth, giving, caring, LOVE, and your glory. Father, heal the pains in their hearts, the things that cause them to feel as though they are alone, and need the crutch of alcohol and drugs to make them happy. LORD OUR FATHER please turn their lives around to be lived in peace. In the name of our precious Jesus, Amen.

I am a wife, mother, and a christian asking for continued prayer for my family who is suffering from a crack-cocaine addiction of my spouse. I daily ask the Lord to give me the strength to keep on keeping on in his name that I won't allow Satan to tear our family apart because of this and the burden it has on our family. It keeps my husband paranoid about everything, always angry or depressed, can't talk to him without an argument, snaps at the children sometimes, but not abusive yet. We don't communicate our feelings to one another, he doesn't spend much time at all with the kids. Satan seems to keep him in bondage and whenever he takes steps to fight it, he's too weak and Satan takes over again. Putting a lot of strain on the emotional stamina of the family. This has become an emotional, financial, and mental turmoil for me. I try to act brave so that I don't concern others with our problems. But I consume all of the responsibilities, the hurt, the pain, the emotiional abuse. I am always the blame for wanting a better marriage. I'm tired of hurting and being disrespected on and off. I ask for your joining in prayer for myself to continue living the way God would have me to live, and prayer for my husband to be strong enough to bind the devil and keep him out of his life in every way. If Satan insist on trying to harm us, we pray that we are strong enough to beat him at his own game. We ask for prayer to continue to loose the holy spirit of our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST in our lives, our hearts,and our souls. I have thought of seperation from my spouse because I felt my heart can't take it and he doesn't have the willingness to strive and struggle to make a determination to regain control of his life. I felt he didn't love me and is just here because he has nowhere else to go. It's been a roller coaster for about 4 years. He says he doesn't want this addiction and not be able to fight it and have a normal life. When he say it, I believe him, but he shows something different occasionally. I know that it's Satan that doesn't want him to have a better life with Christ and his family. The Bible says to train a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from you. I know his family. And they have planted the seed. Pray for us that we grow stronger in the Lord and Satan will not overtake any of us and we lose ourselves and each other. I want to do what Jesus would want, but my heart has been shredded to pieces with these trials. I feel as though I am alone in this and I know that I can't be. Just pray for me. Pray for my husband, and pray for our family. Crack cocaine is a powerful things and can destroy everything you love. I love my husband, but I only want him to be here with me if he loves me too. Pray that he re-enters church as often as needed to get a closer walk with God and that he can bring himself to pray as hard and necessary as needed. Satan is harassing him and won't leave him alone because Satan knows or feels he has the chance he has been waiting for and that is to steal, kill and destroy. Pray that my husband will be loosed from bondage and pray that I keep walking in the name of the Lord. Pray that I have the strength to wait on Jesus and not give up. Pray that I have the courage to handle these situation and it won't have me so consumed that I neglect what I need to be doing. I need all of the prayers that I can get as I pray for ourselves as well.

Lord I pray that you look over Tom and his family. Continue to guide them in a very special way. Let them know that you love and care for them always. Tom is very loved and missed, and will never be forgotten. Lord shield him with your heavenly arms and hold him, keep him and guide him. Let him know that you are Lord or Lord, and there is peace with him.

Oh, most loving Father of ours,
Please send Your Holy Spirit onto all of Tommy's family, friends and loved ones. Comfort them in Your loving and wise ways. I pray for all other families, friends and my son, Chris Smith, who are all battling these demons and hardships. Grant them serentity, peace, love and courage to lead their lives in Your image. Thank you Lord for listening to my prayers, as I believe that You will provide to all of us.

Christian friends, I ask that you please include all who are suffering with the deamon of addiction in your prayers that God soothe their spirits and send some peace to their lives. Please name my son Brandon, who feels so lost because of drug addiction, in your prayers. God in his mercy will hear us and send them hope and guidance.

Dear Lord, My husband has been drinking alcohol ALL his life! I ask that you take the taste of alcohol away from him even as I pray! Continue to give him strength and lift him up when he is fallen down. I claim this miracle in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son On High! Amen.

Lord, send your Spirit to comfort the ones whose loved ones are addicted. Give them strength and courage to live their own life with peace and not be completely consumed with worry and dispair over the hell they see their loved ones in through drug abuse.
Bless those who seek freedom from addiction through Your help. Especially love them when they back slide and let them know they are actually steps closer to recovery and not to fall into self hate and guilt. For you will always pick them up.

My prayer goes out to all of the suffering addicts, as well as(and sometimes overlooked), the addict in recovery who may be feeling overwelmed by the pressures of living clean and sober. For someone who has suppressed his or her inability to live life on life's terms for any substantal amount of time, it can be very difficult to perform the simplest of life affirming tasks. I know, because I sometimes have difficuly with commitments. It is at these times that I have to remember that my will is not my own, and that as long as I try to be the best person that I know how to be, GOD will see me through any obstacles.

Please share this prayer with all that you know and love. I just recv'd this today, and thought of all my wonderful prayer circle angels, and wanted to say this prayer for all of you. You're all so awesome, and I thank God to have so many praying together.

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I Thank You for my being able to see
and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an
understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing
me. Forgive me this day for I have sinned.

I ask now for Your forgiveness. Keep me safe from all danger and harm. Let
me start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make
the best of each and every day and give my best in all that is put before
me. Clear my mind that I can hear from You.

Broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper
over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's
eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess
with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when
this world closes in on me, let me remember to slip away and find a quiet
place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to
do Thy Will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others.

Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have
words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. Those that are addicted to
drugs and or alcohol, that they are saved by your graces. I pray for those
that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who refuse to share a
word from You.

I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will
only read this and not speak this aloud in their own lives.

I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others.

I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe that God
changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and
brothers. For each and every family member in their households.

I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes, that they are out of debt &
all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,
circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every Battle is in His hands
for Him to fight.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees
them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

Jesus said, " if you are ashamed of me," I will be ashamed of you before my
Father." If you're Not ashamed Pass this on . But only if you mean it.

Yes, I do Love God. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me
functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without him,
I am nothing but with Him I can do all things through Christ that
strengthens me. (Phil4:13)

This is the simplest test . .if you Love God, and are not ashamed of all the
marvelous things he has done for you Send this to ten people and the person
who sent it to you!

LORD I PRAY THAT YOUR MIGHTY HAND BRING HEALING TO ALL THOSE THAT SUFFER FROM ADDICTION.

Dear Lord,
I pray that Tommy is with Granny and happy. My heart hurts everyday knowing he is gone but I know he is peaceful. I hope people read these prayers and realize drugs aren't worth all this pain to yourself and others. I miss you Tommy.

Father,
Thank you for the life of Tommy and all the lessons he taught his loved ones. Thank you for giving solace to his family and friends. Thank you for showing them your infinite mercy and grace.
Father, we pray for all of those who have addictions. Drugs, alcohol, sex, grambling, food and so many other behaviors and substances can become addictive. They are ways, Father, that we seek to find peace in a stressful world. But they don't give us the peace, serenity and understanding that you can. For today, Father, I acknowledge my own addiction. I acknowledge that I cannot do anything about my addiction alone. I believe that you can and will relieve me of my compulsion. I surrender it all to you, Father. I surrender it all to you, Father. I surrender it all to you, Father. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for helping me to turn to You rather than trying to medicate myself. I follow Your guidance. I humble myself to Your perfect will.

Our Father in heaven,
you have blessed us with the life of my father William Glenn and my nephew Tommy Glenn. Their birthdays celebration will be on September 1, (Wm.)and September 2 (Tommy). We must try to remember our departed loved ones by preserving who they were & are, and how they affected our lives in this world as well as how they do now, even in death. I remember Tommy at a very young age stomping upstairs because he was not allowed to do something saying
"I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I'M THIRTY-FIVE YEARS OLD, SO I CAN GET MY OWN PLACE".
I laughed so hard never realizing he wouldn't make it to 35 years old & the sorrow it would bring us. I remember the birthday party my Dad gave & he put a goldfish in one of the glasses of water.
All of us, at one time or another, will carry the cross of losing a loved one. In some cases, it will involve the serene but sad passing of a parent who lived a long & dignified life. Other times, it will not be part of the normal rhythms of life, may throw us into disorientation, rage & bitterness. As Christians, when we face death, we have two responsibilities. The first is to maintain our relationship with God during these moments and the second is to truly honor the love we had for the departed by remembering them, praying for them and seeing them as the gift they truly were & are. I'm sure they would want us to remember the good & the bad times. So on their birthdays take time out to pray for them & thank God for the gifts of William & Tommy Glenn. Trust God, in his perfect mercy, that he took our loved ones at the time that is most favorable to their souls. Know that their mission has been fulfilled & celebrate their life.

Dear God,
I would especially like to lift up the parents of Tommy Glenn Jr. It will also be Phyllis (Tommy's mother) birthday on September 1, 2001. Who loved William Glenn as her own father. This is my brother Thomas father's birthday too. who loved my father dearly as well as their son Tommy. I'm sure it will be difficult for both of them to celebrate their life, but if we all pray that they can celebrate not just the life they share here on earth, but the eternal life they are sharing together in heaven. It will ease their pain & sorrow. May the Holy Spirit comfort you during this difficult time. Amen

Lord ,God Please hear my prayer that my yougest daughter gets help for her addiction, she is so beautiful, and kind, and caring, but she is beating herself to death. I know in my heart Father God u are the only one that can take this sickness out of her she des;perately needs you. You have always come through for me,with.My problems and not my problems. Im giving over to you. For YOu alone are OUR SAVIOR, and we all need your help with our families and friends , that are addicted to any kind of drugs. Please Heavenly Father, YOU created us from nothing , so you can recreate these people who need your help, so that they can serve you the rest of there lives. Thank YOU Father God, and my Prayers are with everyone that is in need of them.
