Prayer Circles

Hello our dear chief angel mom, Sandy, ~ I join the other angel moms in wishing you a belated happy birthday. I trust that you had a ball and enjoyed every minute of it. I thank our dear sister for reminding us. There has been so much going on with all of us it seems; I guess that is the reason we let it slip by [senior moment]. :) But, I know you understand and forgive us! We love and appreciate you a whole bunch! :)

Verna, it's always good to hear from you. I look at your prayers and Jane's and I feel like I have fallen way short. I used to be able to express in words the way I felt but my mind is in 'limbo' right now with all these toxins coming loose in me. HaHa.
I thank you very much for your prayers; keep them coming!
I also am grieved about the recent school shootings; how our children/young people are messed up mentally. We need to diligently pray for God to intervene so innocent children will not have to suffer.

Hi Dear angel mom, Connie, ~ Thanks for visiting the memorial site I had built in loving memory of my daughter. Actually, the prayers and poetry are for all who have lost a beloved child or other loved one. Yes, the poems I write are given to me by God’s Holy Spirit; therefore, I refer to them as "healing poetry." So, again, to God be the glory!

I visited your angel, Dennis’s memorial site last night and stayed a long time reading.
Since my hand has been giving me a few problems, I've been trying to catch up on reading here as well as some of the memorial sites of our angels kids who have sites here at Beliefnet as well as elsewhere. I want all to know that I love the way our angel moms [who have built memorial sites], and friends post to their beloved guardian angels. I will try to post at all of them soon. Lord knows, I need to visit my beloved angel's memorial site here soon, because it's been a while since I've posted there. Sometimes I feel as though I have drifted back into denial; even after all this time. Maybe when my hand gets better and I get caught up posting here.

As always, thank you all for the prayers. I thank God everyday for the healing of my hand and overall health that is taking place. I still have a hard time remembering not to over do. :) Pray also that God will help me to start sleeping at night instead of all day! Ha-ha! Charlene, I’m having a hard time letting go of the Reece’s! Angel moms, please take care of yourselves because you all are an important part of our circle of love! Please let us all pray for extra protection of school children everywhere!

To our new angel mom, ~ a warm welcome to our circle of love, support, understanding, and healing. I join the other angel moms in praying for you in the loss of your precious son. I pray that in time you will begin to feel the results of our heartfelt prayers for you and family. Please know in your heart that your little one is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior and that you will see him again once your mission here is through. May it help to know that you are being prayed for daily and that you not alone.

Gee, I go away for the weekend and see all the postings I have to get caught up on - bear with me!
Thank you all for your Birthday wishes, that's so sweet of you all - and thank you to those who sent me Birthday e-Cards, I always treasure and save them!
I'm so sorry that we missed some of the Mom's Special Day's, Lisa as well with her precious son Aaron's HD. I know you all must have felt hurt by it and trust me, it will never happen again.
CARIDA, I join in with everyone here to say how sorry I am for you loss of your little Geraldo. Yes, this will be a rough time for you right now, with everything over with and you're left alone, but always remember you have all of us to talk to, so please keep posting and letting out your pain and grief.
CHARLENE, that's terrific that you and your daughter were together and it was a more pleasant visit, very happy for you and your hubby, I agree with our dear Jane, give her lot's of unconditional love and honor her 'boundaries' for now, I know soon they will fall away, :-). My dear Dad used to say, "Horses sweat, men perspire and women glow" - so think of it that way, you're just glowing all over!!
JANE, aw, what a trying time you had, God love you, no, you never have to apologize here, that's what the Circle is for and we all understand how unfair that was of your Employer. It look's as though God is going to bring good out of the situation, God is good, all the time, all the time, God is good! My love & prayers for this and your shoulder.

Hi Angel Mom, Charlene! ~ it looks as though we were posting around the same time in our posts above. :) Charlene, both your prayers and poetry speak volumes to me! Then too, I am a firm believer that God is not impressed with how we express what's in our hearts; only that we are sincere. And I know you always are! :)Sometimes when I pray, all I can say is: "Lord have mercy!" And, believe it or not, that's enough! God knows our heart; and therefore, He knows that we are sincere always when we pray for each other. Would you believe that I have NEVER prayed aloud in church? I believe I would faint if ever called on to do so! ha-ha! My daughter is so gifted in that area. God didn't give me the gift of expressing heartfelt prayers for others until I joined this circle of love. Which tells me that something good comes out of every tragidy. :) I still don't go to church as often as I should; but I honestly believe the work God assigned me to do here, and with [MADD - until recently], is a big part of the ultimate purpose God has for me. So, I am just so grateful to God for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful and caring cause; as I'm sure all angel moms are. :) Well, enough rambling for now. I think I'd better try to get some sleep before I fall asleep at the keyboard! Love you all a bunch! :)

PS: Charlene, I know what you mean about the toxins. I sometimes feel as though I am taking too many different kinds of medications! I'm thinking about getting off some of these meds, and trying natural meds - with doctor's permission of course. I'm waiting on one more test result, then I have to make an appointment to have everything explained, and see what changes my doctor recommends. My prayers are ongoing for you and our other angel moms who are dealing with any kind of pain; your husband also. I thank God for whispering in your ear, Charlene, and inspiring you to create our Special Days list. Talk about one's mind being in limbo [ha-ha]! I had tried; and I guess I would still be trying! HA -HA! But you did it in no time! As the saying goes ... You do your Daddy [God]and [ALL OUR GUARDIAN ANGELS]PROUD! :)

WOW! Everyone has been busy this morning. Thank you all for your continued prayers. I had yesterday and today off from work, so both physically and emotionally I'm feeling quite better. Anyone who works retail, knows that our schedules get quite crazy, so it is very good to have two days off in a row. I have an urgent prayer request. My mother called me last night. Her doctor thinks she has a blocked artery and needs a catheter. Anyway she is allergic to dye and has to take medication to prevent a reaction. She has never taken the medication before and if it doesn't work, her life will be in danger. She almost died the last time she had dye injected. I know she is real anxious because she called me for the first time in two years. She said she knew I would pray and put her on my prayer chains. FYI I have spoken with my mother in the two years, it's just that I have to make the calls. My mother is a very difficult woman to interact with. Most of my sisters will not even try. Kathy, I think it was you who posted the beautiful poem about mothers. It made me cry and I couldn't comment because of my own experience with my mother. So I am also praying that this experience will begin a healing process between my mother and all her daughters. God is a God of reconciliation and I believe He still wants to heal the emotional scars of my family of origin. In psychology we call that family FOO. God has graced my life with forgiveness for my mother. Unfortunately for me, it's not only forgiveness for the past. Everytime I talk with her I have to consciously say afterwards, "I forgive her for that, she doesn't know better." Currently she lives in FL with my stepdad. There is only one other sister (out of 5) who will speak to her at all.Well, that's my FOO issues! But my mom really does need God's protection as she goes through this precedure, so thank you for praying. Love, Jane

Please don't ever compare yourself with anyone else. God looks at the heart, not our words. I know you pray for me often, and I so appreciate it. I know you are a main prayer warrior for this circle. I also pray as Kathy does, "Lord have mercy." Sometimes my prayer consists of "How long, Oh Lord, how long." David prayed that a lot. I find I always get into trouble when I compare my self with someone else. I never measure up! God made us each unique, with special gifts. If we are using our own gifts, there is no comparison with others. It's like comparing apples with oranges. Just a thought. Love, Jane

Hello Everyone Hope everyone is good. I have slowed down on all these doctors appointments now. I have the youngest grandson-Tyler to take to the doctors so he can have his asthma checked on. He is doing much better except when he goes to his other Grandparents and comes home feeling down because he is allergic to cats and they have 10. My foot doctor released me and said everything is where it is suppose to be so I can go run a mile(ha ha) I will post again soon. Bless You All! Love Lee Ann

Your mom is in my prayers; I too am allergic to the dye used for heart cath procedures and thank God I haven't had to have it again. She will be prayed for today!

An added note:
I just received an email from a friend who lives in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania; he requests prayer for the families of the 5 girls who were killed in the Amish school shooting yesterday, and for the families of the 5 girls who were critically injured. The community held a large prayer rally this morning and he attended because he frequently is hired by the Amish to drive them places in his car. He is asking for written condolences or prayers to be sent to the families in care of his email; he will print them all out and give them to the families. He says you don't have to give your name but be sure to include your state and/or country of residence. Here's the email address:

Lee Ann, it's good to hear from you again. I'm so glad your foot is better and you are able to run again. :o)
That must be frustrating to have your grandson with asthma having to visit his other grandparents and them not making allowances for his allergies to cats. I'll be praying about that.

Yes, dear AngelMoms and sisters, what a terrible tragedy in the Amish Community, a member of the Community was on CNN this am, talking about it and what truly amazed me was when he said they all forgive the man who killed the girls and wanted to reach out to his family! Wow, I don't think I could be as forgiving as they are right away. Hard to fathom, God bless them,

I am sorry to hear about your Mom. It is wonderful that she asked you to pray, God knows what he is doing...Yes the poem about Mothers is beautiful, It made me cry too! It was a good cry though. Your Mom does need God's protection and your forgiveness too. Keep giving, it can only strengthen your relationship. I am glad you are feeling better too. It is nice to get a chance to rest isn't it.
