I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word
I didn't ask for wealth or fame.
I knew you wouldn't mind,
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day.
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.

My sisters, I just received a call from my girlfriend that just buried her one and only child last week. She wanted something uplifting. I know i'm posting a little late tonight but there is no school Monday so I am up a little bit late tonight.

To all my new angel sisters:
First, Chris my prayers are with you today. Having two special days so close is so very difficult. I pray you will feel the presence of our Loving Father embracing your family right now.
Second, I may not be posting for a while because I had an accident at work and sprained my shoulder. As Charlene can testify it is very difficult to type with your right arm in a sling! Note that I will be reading and praying daily.
Third, thank you Connie for the guidelines. I'll e-mail you more about them when my arm is feeling better.
Finally, I would appreciate your prayers. The last time I hurt my shoulder it took several years to heal properly. It was a very painful experience and I really do not want to go through that again. I have to work and can't afford to take any time off. I'm confident God will provide as He has done so many times before.

On no, dear Jane! I'm so sorry to hear that, but happy you weren't injured more - although yes, I too had to have my arm in a sling and YES, it's hard to type.

Hello all!
I'm sorry I haven't been able to post lately; I've been having headaches plus body aches and I'm so EMOTIONAL. Drinking lots of water is supposed to flush out all the toxins that this medicine is destroying; I tried to just rest over the weekend but between drinking water every hour and going to the bathroom about as often, I didn't get a lot of rest. HaHa Oh well, whatever it takes to speed up this process. I'm tired of it already.
I'm trying to catch up on the reading this morning and will try to post again this afternoon; it takes a while to get my joints loosened up in the mornings.

Hello dear Charlene, great to see you posting again, you must be feeling a little better! Drinking water is good for you and if you have to drink it to get rid of the toxins from the meds., you're doing your body good! Other than the bathroom trips, (I can commiserate, I have them as well from drinking water) it's good to hear you're taking it easy and resting. Before you know it, you'll be back to your old self, :-), we're all praying for you!

Thank you Sandy for the YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE page. I remembered that I sang that song at my high school graduation [many, many years ago :o)]. Then when it started playing and I realized Elvis was singing it, I couldn't stop crying; you remember that he was Carey's #1 singer and we took her to Graceland in August before she was killed in the car wreck in December. After listening to it for 4 times I could finally smile when I heard it again. THANK YOU SANDY!

SELVA, you are still in my prayers for strength for you and for healing for your sister. You make sure you get lots of good nourishment and rest to keep yourself going; you can't help your sister if you get down too.
KATHY, I liked the prayer for the armor; I hadn't thought about that but I've been picturing it in my mind today like I used to do. I also looked up some verses on health and printed them out so I can pray them every morning too.
CONNIE, I appreciated your prayer. I love to pray Scripture; it gives me such a good and powerful feeling when I do that. I can tell that you study Scripture or at least have read it enough that you can pray it.
SANDY, I signed up today for the Dialogue Group. I hope we can help this young mother in her horrendous pain.

Connie, thank you for the poem you posted. I've heard it before but it is good to be reminded once in a while. I've got so many poems and sayings printed out and hanging above my desk that it will take me at least an hour to read them all. But it's good for my soul to be reminded how others are praying for me; and it reminds me to pray for you all too.

Hi Charlene, I am praying for you. Thank you for your posting to all of us, I know it must have been a struggle for you but I think the exercise of your hands and fingers will help you. Also its therapy huh? to get to talk to all of your sisters :0) You are right I do study scriptures, in my weekly Bible study as well as on Sunday with my Pastor. I hope you went to God's Yellow Pages for your verses on health.

Sandy, I love that You'll Never Walk Alone. Its just re-confirm my belief in our God and it came right on time. As an old spiritual singer sang, He's An On Time God, Yes He Is. Might Not come when You Want Him, But He Is There Right On Time. This is taking me back to old time religion with my Mother. :0)

For my wonderful bright shining star, Scott, who died suddenly in a skydiving accident on May 18, 2003. He was my youngest and only son at 21. His many friends and acquaintances filled a large hall. A recording of the many who shared their experiences with him, is my treasure. His ashes were set free over the area he flew over 420 times before. The pain is less but the loss is just a great today. He is my guardian angel and near often. I look at clouds very differently now.

Thank you for posting about your Scott. Yes, it still leaves an empty place in your life when your child is gone, never to return. You have come to a good place to share your loss; the dear sisters here have been a godsend to me, helping me on my journey of healing over the loss of my 4 grandchildren, especially the 2 granddaughters who were killed in a car wreck on Dec. 1, 2004. It's still very hard to comprehend that this is real and not a bad dream. May God bless you as you share here; I hope that you post often to share with us how you have walked this journey. And if we can help you in return, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you everyone! This year is so hard. My brother had a lion (yea a real one) it died aug 25, my dads birthday was aug 31 (died 93), Steph birthday Sept 24, Steph died Sept 25,Now my mom is dying. I flew from ny to mo thurs to see her one more time. It will be soon now. Please pray for my mom (Pat) that she gets to go home soon. Oh god I'm so sad.

Thank you for your wonderful prayers and poem. I have the poem up also. Like Charlene, It would take an hour or more to read everything I have around my desk here. Praying for you too dear sister. Today is sort of hard on me. My oldest Son and family were here for a visit. He and our Wesley were very close. They left back to Phoenix today. It was emotional for me. They were only 1 year apart in age and we were always together. Everything has changed so much. It is hard to get used to....never will get used to it, just cope with it. Love to you,

I am so sorry about your shoulder. I am praying that it heals quickly, I just love your posts! You have a nice way with words. I know our God will bless you. I am also happy that you signed up to help that poor mother. You will be able to help so much. I don't have a computer at home so I can only post from work and I have to squeeze it in. I still may try to get involved, I want to help anyway I can with healing our hearts.

Yes, thank you for posting about your Scott. I lost Son Wesley in an accident on Aug. 12, 2005. Although it is terribly painful still, I can get through the day without falling apart now. I am also relativly new to this circle. The love, compassion and inspiration is endless. I pray you wil continue to come here and share your journey with us all. It is very healing to be able to help each other. We are here for you. Like your Scott, my Wes is also near often, it makes me very happy. It is unmistakeable when our Angel kids are around isn't it? Please keep in touch.
