i pray dear god for david to heal in his heart and except whatever your will is. sometimes we dont always know what we think is best for us. help him as you have helped me, to understand and through this heart wrenching time i pray he holds on to you with all his might and even draws a special bond of closeness with you because of this heartbrake. i know i have. you dear god never bestowe any heartache to us ,sometimes we just wonder off on our own guidings and we dont stop and think that just maybe this was not gods will or your soulmate. send him true love and give him hope and heal his heart as you have mine dear god ,blessyou, amen. david, i just want to say i know this seems like the most horrable feeling in the world, i just ended a relantionship after 4 years, just 7 months ago. he has moved 5 minutes away from me and i have to face him as i drive by in my car sometimes. and know that hes doing fine wihout me, and wondering who is in his life and did i just get lyed to or how could he forget everything we went through, i thought i was so special. it still hurts but without the help of gods guidance i could not make it, god never said life was painless we just have to trust in god to heal our hearts and minds and start over. it hurts bad ,but believe me if i can do it you can with only the helping hand of god. i am seeing that as time goes by it will fade, it still hurts everyday but god is taking a pain i thought would never leave and helping me to find hope for the future without him,if it is gods will i pray he shows you the light to, just hold on tight to god and never cease praying and it will happen in gods due time. god bless. sawthelight, ps. now you know how i chose my screen name.

Hi David. I know how hard it is to live when u have lost your love. I m going through the same situation. But I tell you, you trust the LORD and he will surely heal your heart and give you a way to find her back. I beleive in LORD and HE is helping me to deal this situation with better results. I pray for u and ur lost love to reunite and the happy day is just around the corner.

Dear Lord, I pray for David and Joanna. I pray that you find it in your hear to brings them back together again. There is so much suffer and hatred in this world that what we really need is love. Please let it be in your will that their relationship be healed. I know how it feels to lose someone you really loved especially when you really didn't want to let them go...it's devastating. It is good to see that you know it is ok to pray for oneself when we are lost or afraid and I am sorry for your pain. Please know that true love transcends time, it reverberates throughout the universe forever and ever and is never lost, you will find that love inside your own heart, if you will only continue to seek it out. If you cannot find love with this woman, have love and compassion for yourself and others who hurt and you will be led to another with whom you may share your love, I pray for this for you.

I have been going through a similar situation. I was about to get married this coming June, but in January of this year, my relationship ended after a 15-year on and off relationship. We are now back together but it took work and still does take a lot of work. Although I have always been a believer in God, this has drawn me closer to him and I cling on to him for dear life. I thank and praise him in good times and in bad times. God has been there for me through it all. We, my significant other, and myself also go to a Christian counselor who helps us communicate. We are still not out of the woods yet but I have faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that He will bring us out of the woods. I believe that sometimes God does things to us to draw us closer to Him or to use our experiences to help others. So you see, you must have faith in God and He will bring you through.

God, I ask this in Jesus' name, that you reunite this couple and you work on them just as you're working on us. Give David the peace that only you can give, that peace that is so awesome. Let him feel your Holy Spirit guiding him and comforting him. And listen to his prayers and his heart. In Jesus' name, I pray... Amen.

i feel for you deeply. because my boyfriend and i recently broke up three months ago. i did not trust him and he could not take the fact. i really miss him and i have so many stressful days but i realize that everything happens for a reason and that if it was meant to be she will come back. time is a very important factor so be patient and put and kepp God first and everything will be find.

please bless David. i understand completley how it feels to be in love with someone who is really dissapointed in you. although we all make mistakes and everyone needs a secound chance. bless him and make him stronger and through your will send him his soul mate.

David ~ How ironic, my lost love's name is also David. We were married over 17 years when he told me that he didn't love me anymore. On Christmas evening last year I found out that he was having an affair, which he denied. I am still deeply in love with him, and although we are separated, we are still living in the same house due to financial reasons. I pray that your lost love comes back to you, please pray that my lost love comes back to me.

You can never lose your way with the Holy Christ, for he is always with you. Whether you are walking in the wrong path right now, Maybe, but always remember: God's plan for you is awsome! The reason it probably didn't work for you too is probably because you needed time or, there's someone totally better.

my advice to you is to take it easy and never reject a task that is thrown at you by the christ, because it can maybe be what saves you romantic love life

David- I feel your pain. I have recently lost my love, too. And like you, I slipped away from God and so did my relationship with my love. Maybe, this is God's way of getting our attention and making us realize we need to put Him first in our lives. If it's in His will you two will find yourself together again, if not there is someone out there God has for you.

David.. I know how you feel.. I had a 10 years relationship with my boyfriend and we made lots of plan and dream and then suddenly he disappeared without a reason.. I want us to go back to where we were but I can't have any closure cause he is gone now. I just know that if it is meant to be you will be with Joanna. Read psalm 139 this comfort me alot. You are in my prayer.

David, I know it's been 8 years since you've posted this and I don't know your current situation, but regardless I will pray for you. I too have recently lost my love of 3 years over my selfish and foolish arrogance. One thing I have learned is this: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. David, I have great empathy for you as I am also going through the same hardship now. I also have slipped away from God and now I have lost my love, whom God gave me as a blessing.

What I'm doing right now is I realize all my trespasses again him and God and ask for forgiveness first. And then I pray that He will let us reunite again with His love.

I pray for you that You and Joanna will be reunited in love forever with the presence of God and his guidance.
