A wonderful person who is having great difficulty with the hold that alcohol has over his life and his faith

A prayer circle dedicated to helping those afflicted with one of the most socially acceptable diseases...alcoholism.

Alcoholism is a wide spread slow killer. Not only is it a killer of life, but of your soul, your relationships, happiness... My life has been touched by this disease and many times, it seems so helpless. Now that I have a child who will be affected, I need help and would like to offer help in the form of prayer for others dealing with the same problems.

I have heard many times that alcoholics and addicts are spiritual seekers, and I pray that all those who suffer will find the path of enlightenment that they so desperately seek. May all people know peace.

	sbgrace 1/14/2002 13:01	I pray that at this late date all are living a life free from alcohol. I trust in the Lord that one day soon my husband will also know a life without drunkeness. I pray for strength and longsuffering of the family members of the alcoholic. Our trials are not in vain, our Lord wants us to learn from everything.

	lifepoetry 12/3/2002 22:44	I pray for you, RJK, and I also pray for myself; as this issue has been weighing on my soul. I was saved two years ago & quit smoking pot easilly. Now I have to confront this demon. I've been so down on myself lately, feeling so unworthy of the Lord; but these prayers remind me of loving He is. Praise God! Praise God!
