Faith and Love Prayer Circle

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ.

The Faith and Love prayer circle was created out of my desire to have a more committed prayer life. I hope that you will feel the comfort of knowing that many will join you in your own prayer concerns; I know I feel an incredible sense of peace, knowing others love me enough to actually pray for ME! Wow.

Our Motto.... PUSH! (Pray until Something Happens!)

We all need a little push from time to time, right?

Join us for an awesome prayer adventure!
May God Bless US Indeed!

Kj, the color isn't too difficult to master. For all those who want to add a little flavor to their posts, all you need to do is: Place a bracket <> around the words font color="red" and then close the bracket. I will add an asterisk in attempt for you to see the HTML code.... remember, when you try it, don't use the asterisk. Confused yet? ** That's all it takes. If you want to make something bold, you would type ** (no asterisk in the actual html code though)
If you want to "undo" something you type the same command, but place a forward slash in front of the command word *

Anyway, thank you for always share something beautiful. I'm glad you were able to navigate here. It can be a little confusing at first. :)

Blessings to you all!

Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

The following is a prayer request that I received last night via email.... I am submitting to the prayer circle and asking each of you to keep them in your prayers. Thanks! Barb

Ok people, it's time to go before our Father with this urgent
request of Prayer from a Loving Husband!

Dear Friends in Christ,

My Name is Gary "Nick" Hoyman, Some of you receiving this know me,
some do not.

My wife Cindy is 32 years old and has just been diagnosed 3 days ago
with stage 4 cervical cancer and her chances for survival are very

She was pregnant with our second child and had miscarried at 5 months
and now we know why. This is a request for you to forward this email
to everyone you know asking for prayer. The more people that pray for
her to be healed the better. Company email distributions, friends,
family, people you don't even know. Just forward them this email and
let them do the same. Pray and forward. It only takes a second to hit
forward. Please do it and don't delete this, your prayer will save
her life.

Please pray and ask everyone you know to pray for HEALING of Cindy
and for the removal of all cancer in her body so she may enjoy all
that life has to offer, and to continue to be the wonderful mother to
our 5 year old son Michael.

The power of Prayer is Unsurpassed. I want the whole world to have her
in their prayers the next few weeks. God will hear our

Please do not be offended by my plea. This is only a request for
your help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and
helping with our quest for healing, no words can express how much
power we have when we do a little extra to come together.

Regards, Cindy's in-love husband.

Just recieved the news that little Zach passed away peacefully with his family at his side.

Please, please continue to pray for his parents, Amy and Scott. I can not begin to fathom what they are dealing with....

Pray for their strength, comfort and healing.

As always, thank you all for being faithful to our prayer circle.

12/21/2001 09:41

Trying to submit, but doesn't seem to want to take my post!

This is for Rachel and Zach's parents...and anyone else who has lost someone dear, and finds themselves struggling through the holiday's.

Blessings to you always!

I see the countless Christmas trees,
around the world below
With tiny lights, like heaven's stars,
reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.

For I have no word to tell you,
the joy their voices bring.
For it is beyond description
to hear an angel sing.

I can't tell you of the splendor,
or the peace here in this place.
Can you imagine Christmas
with our Savior, face to face?

I'll ask him to light your spirit,
as I tell him of your love.
So then pray for one another
as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful,
and let your spirit sing.
For I'm spending Christmas in heaven,
and walking with the King!

12/21/2001 21:07

Please bear with me as I learn new ways of doing things.

.May you have a blessed weekend.

Please pray that the LORD light my way through this current obstacle, and that I will grow to be a better christian as a result. Thank You and the LORD be with you all the day's of our lives.

12/28/2001 20:41

Lord, I pray that you would bring healing to our family. I ask that you bless us with the ability to help our daughter, Patty. The daughter who You brought into our home as a foster daughter first, then open doors for us to adopt her into our home. A daughter that needs healing of her past to move on. Allow her to feel your presense and know that You love her more than You did your own son. Bless her with the realization that we love her just as much as You do. I pray for our son, Lance and his wife, Karen. I ask you protect them and the life that you created within Karen's body. Our first grandchild. I pray Your will for Lance's future in the military. I ask for prayer for their salvation, that they would hunger and thirst to truly know You, and not follow in the world's ways. Lord, I pray for Brady, his walk with you. I know deep within my heart that he is to be Your servant just as Peter and John were. I pray for you to work in Brady's life. Bring witnesses into his daily life so that he may know that you forgive and forget his past. Then open doors so that he will once again be a true servent for our Lord. I pray for our son, Michael. I ask that you protect and direct his paths. He is such a wonderful son and I thank you for trusting us enough with this child, Lord. He has been in our home three years now and I am blessed by his being a part of our family. I pray for the two foster children in our home and I pray for wisdom and the ability to be the mother to them that you want me to be. Give me stregnth. I pray for my health so that I can serve you by helping these children. I pray for future children that you would bring into our home. I pray that you would open and close doors as you see fit with placements in our home. I pray for my father in law who just had tripple by pass surgery. For healing and for all that is going on within this family with all the brothers and sisters. I especially pray for the one who makes my life complete, my husband, Gary. My love, my partner, my completeness. Thank you Jesus, for my salvation, for your Father's love and for answered prayers. Amen Brenda

I am burning the candle tonight in the window of my heart as the salt of my tears burn my eyes.

I posted this on the AZ Family I hope you will forgive the repetition....but I feel the more prayers whispered tonight and the ensuing days...the better. There IS power in Prayer Warriors !!

Tonight I appear before you with a heart full of running emotions. I have no way to direct them. I will put them in a parcel and put them at your feet.

For the first time in over a year and a half I have been contacted by a member of my family....indeed my little sister

Her communique causes me to be concerned as much by what she said as by what she did not....there is much here that I do not know

Lord, I pray to You with fervor...I humbly present my family to You...yes every single one of them - especially the ones that caused the most hurt...I do not know what their pain or trouble is but You do. I pray mercy upon them. I ask Your grace and spirit and mercy be felt throughout their hearts, minds, bodies, souls....thru every fiber of their being.

I do forgive them Lord !!! How can I not ?, we all make mistakes in life, things that cause others pain, things that destroy lives. It would be impossible to be forgiven should I not be able and willing to forgive....the pain is deep and chasm wide but I know that thru You ALL things are possible.

I truly hope to be reunited with my least some of them - should it be Your will. I pray for patience while awaiting Your perfect answer in Your time.

I am fearful Lord for the time is running out for me. Please do not forsake me when I need you so - I know you have a plan for me and a place for me Lord - I have faith but oh how Satan wishes to destroy it.

Thank you Father for Your ear, Your comfort and grace.

I pray peace for all as we face a new year...surely it will be better than the last.

1/1/2002 23:35

Happy New Year my friends! I hope that 2002 brings much peace, love and laughter to your lives. I hope too, that you will remain committed to our prayer circle, checking in periodically, for prayer requests and updates and for sharing those concerns that are on your heart....and of course sharing those joys in your life so that we may give thanks to our AWESOME God!

I pray that you will each be blessed with good health and a strong spirit; that you will have abundant energy for giving to those around you.... ministering to one another's emotional and spiritual needs, sharing encouragement from God's word and faithfully lifting one another in prayer.

I pray that you will be blessed with prosperity and that you will find ways to help those who are in need.

I pray that you will have the courage to give and ask for forgiveness when needed. I pray that you will graciously forgive past hurts and find peace and understanding through the power of Christ. I pray that you will rekindle an old friendship, open yourselves to new friendships and value those that have been lifelong!

I pray that you will slow down this year...long enough to enjoy your children, your significant others and your friends and family. In the end THEY are all that will really matter. Take the time to enjoy those incredible gifts.

Above all, I pray that you will seek God in all that you do.... giving thanks and praise and honor to the ONE who gives us everything.

I pray all these things for each of you and for myself, as well.

I want to thank Barb for the many hours she has spent in setting up this prayer circle--I know it has helped a lot of people--including myself. My request tonite is that each of us take a few minutes and say a pray for Barb and her family. She is under a lot of stress right now and with God's help and our prayers for her, everything will work out according to God's plan for her and her family. She is the most loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt that I know. She deserves only the best that God has to offer. Thank you Barb for your unselfish love and concern for all that come to the Prayer Circle and for all the people whose lives you have touched and made better just by knowing you. I love you.

1/5/2002 10:33

For Barb,

I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way....
His love is always with you
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares
You know He will see us through
So when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best
Just remember I'm here praying
And God will do the rest.

1/5/2002 10:35

Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you feel like doing something nice for someone you care for... THAT'S GOD...he talks to you through the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever been down and out and nobody seems to be around for you to talk to... THAT'S GOD...he wants you to talk to him.

Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen in a long time and then next thing you know you see them or receive a phone call from them... THAT'S GOD...there is no such thing as coincidence.

Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen something you wanted, but couldn't afford...THAT'S GOD...he knows the desires of your heart...

Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is going to get better, but now you look back on it... THAT'S GOD...he passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day...

1/5/2002 10:37

May "The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine upon
you and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace."

God's Teaching Road
We cannot pray for others
If we've not had pain and strife
And we cannot share their sorrow
If we've had an easy life

We don't know how to sympathize
With those who are in pain
If we've never trod through valleys
That were sent us for our gain

The trials that are sent our way
Sometimes bring untold sorrow
But tears will dry and strength will
come to help someone tomorrow

We only feel our sister's pain
Through seeds of sorrow sown
We then can help her make it through
When faith and trust have grown

We only help our brother walk
And bear his heavy load
When we have passed this way before
Upon God's teaching road

He's teaching us to trust in Him
Through every trial we face
That we may help someone in need
To lean upon His grace

This road is hard to tread upon
A path of tears and sorrow
But things we learn with every step
will help someone tomorrow

Saving the Pieces

It was such a loud noise it made
When it came crashing down
And broken in sunder to tiny parts
When pieces went all around

So scattered it was to surely no hope
Of putting it together again
Was there one that could help to save
The heart that seemed without mend

I'll gather the pieces in my hand
And search quietly 'til I can find
Someone who knows how this is done
To make one these pieces of mine

Life is now more precious to me
Since I first began in this walk
To find what love really is
To know it's more than just talk

Oh where can I find the mender of hearts
Who I'll know is my friend
And put it all together again
To Him my love I will send

I'll find it in the Blood of the Lamb
Wherein I'll place all these parts
And know He'll take care of it all
To remold this broken heart

No one else is able to do
The job the way that He can
Bring hope and joy back to my life
And give peace to a fallen man

I'll thank Him now for work well done
And wait 'til He shall return
My new heart that is made just for me
With all these things I have learned

I know I have posted quite a bit today. It is my intent to lift those feeling a little less than bouncy today...and perhaps to lift my spirits as well.

In Live

1/6/2002 08:55

Thank you my friends for your faithful support and mostly your prayers. I know that all will be well; I still find myself resisting change, even when it is apparent that one door is closing (slamming?) and another is opening.

My request is that you would lift prayers that I would have the energy and wisdom to move forward with this new project and step boldly through the door that HE is opening. (Frankly, if someone would just come up from behind me and shove me through the door that would be fine too!)

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind words and thoughts....of course you know I was bawling as I read the posts, right?

Truly, I thank you!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23, New International Version

May God Bless you abundantly this day!
