It looks like it's been awhile since anyone last entered anything on this prayer circle. So I hope that's a sign things are well... I just wanted to add that my mom was diagnosed with etastasis lung cancer and lymnode cancer with little chance of survival. that was in around july 2004. She did everything she was suppose to and it spread and she became terminal. She was sent home with a couple of months to live. She lived nearly 8 months. Although her children are grown we still needed our mother as much as a child. We prayed and stuck it out as a family. During that time my 35 yr old brother passed away as well..but good ole mom kept her positive attitude and faith which never waivered. My mother sadly for us passed away peacefully(though in the hospital) in her sleep on the same day the pope passed. Though we miss her and not sure how to go on...we keep in mind the lessons she gave us. She said it's all in god's plan. We don't know when or how we're going to die and not to be angry at God or anyone for how things turn out. Everything happens for a reason. Though I'd give anything to have her back, she no longer is suffering or has cancer and is with the angels in heaven with my brother. I pray that your around alot longer for your children, but she will be taken care of if it is your time to go. The best medicine my mother got was the love and support from her family and her amazing faith in God. In the very face of death she still believed that it was his plan for her to go. Fortunately we had been given time to for her to give her motherly advice and say goodbye and we were able to let her go as we knew where she was heading....to a much better place. Mom had been sick for nearly 2 yrs prior to being diagnosed. Once she switched dr's she was given the proper medical care, but up until then her dr. wouldn't listen to her. Hope all is well. prayers are with you. |
