Prayer Circles

Jesus, tonight as I pray I am so thankful for your love for me. Though my heart is heavy with concern for my family, just knowing that I can give all these burdens to YOu and that You will see me through is so rewarding. Sometimes life is so hard and I get so discouraged, I just need Your strength to get me through each day. Make me stronger each day , help me to always do what is right in your eyes. I pray for all these wonderful people who are praying with me, Father just take care of their needs , whatever they may be, keep them safe and strong in faith. Bless all of my children and bring them all back to YOU. Our needs are so many that sometimes we forget to thank YOU for our blessings, Lord thank YOU. I am nothing without YOU in my life. In Jesus' precious name I pray. AMEN

I have not forgotten you and your son Russell. I remember when Russell last summer was looking for full-time employment and has problems with his health and I am so sorry to hear that he was laid-off recently. I was also laid-off from my full-time job in Jan.'02 and so was my sister. I am looking for full-time job, but it is not easy here in Silicon Valley in No. Calif. The unemployment rate is very high here and there is so much competition! I will always be praying for you and your son Russell. For you to give you strength and encouragement each day. I think you are a thoughtful and considerate person. I will pray that Russell will get a job soon or I hope that he has a job already by the time you received this message. And I will also pray for his health. May God Bless and keep you and your son Russell in his care!

Dear BettyJ,I understand. I have 2 teenage boys and they're great kids. My 19 year old is at a lost as to what to do with his life. He's stuck! He needs a JOB! My younger son is 16 and has a speech problem and is very shy, Plus they grew up without a Dad. So that doesn't help. I pray everyday for them both. My heart goes out to you. We'll pray for each other,OK?

Dear Billiejo and Villamaria, I have just read your latest posting and am so grateful for your prayers and messages. These words are always so uplifting to me, now I feel I can go through this day feeling good. I am praying for all of you too, that God will soon bless you and your families with gainful employment and a successful future. The Lord knows our needs before we even ask, and is faithful to us. I will pray for you daily.
As for my son, Russell, I have just learned that he has been admitted to the hospital in Arkansas. His emotional state is just out of hand and he has to have some help. Please pray for him to be healed. I feel so helpless being so far away and don't know if he will be able to call me for awhile. I just know that he needs help and pray for the right people to come into his life to help him with that. Please don't cease your prayers for us. That is where the healing will come from. God knows what is best. Please pray for my daughters too. They are without jobs and one is now homeless, but staying with her sister for the time being. Their lives are not stable right now and I just don't know what to do. I have grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the midst of all these problems and am so concerned. My youngest son passed away four years ago at Christmas, he was only 30. Sometimes I just don't have the energy to go forward, but know in my heart that I have to, and it is only with Gods power that I do so. Will go for now , always praying for all of you. God Bless You

May Our Lord and Savior bless you and Russell during these very trying days as Russell seeks employment and good health. God loves you so much and He wants you to be happy. Please try to say, each day, Proverbs 3, 4-5: Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not on thy own understanding; but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall make straight thy paths. Yes; it is difficult to trust when our circumstances seem hopeless; it is difficult to see God's plans. I know; I have difficulty, too. This I know, however; God loves me and He loves you. He will give you peace. Please pray for me on March 5 as I have an interview for a job that appears to be one that I will be happy with. However, my circumstances tell me that I will not be chosen for the job due to a very poor past job evaluation. I pray that the truth of my situation will come to light. May I accept God's will and His plans for me. May God Bless You and everyone seeking employment. Sissru

I too have a son with ADD. He has been in special ed. since he started school and I believe has never received the appropriate teaching. He quit when he was sixteen because he wasn't learning and they said they were doing all they could do for him. He grew up without a father or father figure. He began to get into deep trouble at sixteen and has not stopped.He is twenty one now and cannot hold down a job. Even though he has had numerous jobs, he cannot seem to keep them.He just got out of alcohol rehab and now he is planning to go to Chicago with a girl he met on the internet.I have received three phone calls in the past years telling me that he has attempted suicide. The chill that goes through my body is indescribable. Now after he goes I am going to be "waiting" for another phone call. No one can talk him out of it. We have tried.I have two girls and I know that I have been so focused on my son that they feel a little upset about it, but they are a support and try to talk to him. I include you and your son in my prayers and the other people in this circle who have asked for prayer. I know God answers all prayer. I thank Him for giving us each other. Thank you all for taking the time to share. Saint Monica, help us pray.

DEAR RUSSELL,MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THRU, MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN OUT OF WORK NOW FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT I KEEP PRAYING THAT OUR LORD WILL HAVE MERCY ON ALL WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED, AND THAT OUR LORD WILL HELP OUR GOVERMENT TO CREATE MORE JOBS FOR ALL.

As I start this day Lord, I thank You for all You have done for me, and all You have allowed me to have on this earth. I thank YOU for all these wonderful prayer friends that You have sent to me. All of us are in need Lord, please help us in our daily walk with YOU. Give us the strength and courage to always be faithful and to wait on Your answers. I thank You for the new people who have submitted their prayers for me and my son and family. Bless all of us because we believe in YOU. In my case, Russell is somewhat better, but needs alot of support. No job yet , but is applying for Veterans Disability. For me, we have just learned that my sister (57 yrs old) has terminal cancer. Has spread all over, no hope, just little time to live. This is such a shock to all of us. I go everyday to the hospital to see her and talk to the Drs. and everyday no good news. We will be taking her home in a few days to wait for the LORD to take her home. Such a lovely person and my best friend. Please pray for her children, they are just so sad. I am still in denial of all this, even though I can see the truth, I still believe that God has the final Word!!!

I have been praying for a very long time for my son,especially since August. He has ADHD, is almost 22,is trying to complete culinary studies but due to the fact his father won;t pay the quarterly living tuition of $700.00 they 'unenrolled'him which has thrown him, and I in a tailspin, has messed up all his grants and loans, He has a very hard time getting a job, and due to the loss of my home and a recent fatal traffic collison which caused the loss of my car, I am limited to helping him, I need somewhere to live, my cats and dogs and I live in a rented Van. I have a job, but can't seem to get ahead, I have prayed for months and to seemingly deaf ears. My son is angry with God for letting these horrible things happen to me, I hope someone can help us both regain our faith and pray for a home for me and a job for him. He tends to not make the best of friends, any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

mizpeach, Please rest assured that my prayers are with you in this your great time of need. I can feel your pain as you struggle from day to day. I will pray for your son, that God will set his feet on the right path, and give him direction. I am praying that soon your finances will be better and that you will find a place to live. When we pray together , God is with us , and when we ask, He will provide, maybe not as soon as we want , but never give up your faith and your hope. I thought I had problems, it is nothing compare to yours. I am so sorry to hear about your son and especially you. I will pray for you and your son. and that you son will get a job soon. Not only that you will get a home and that your new landlord will let you keep your beloved pets. And that God gives you great strength to get you and your son through this difficult time. I will continue to always pray for you and your son. And that God gives you and your son faith again. Prayers are very powerful when said in prayer groups!! You know the needs of Betty J and her son Russell, who feels uncertain at times due to his panic attacks. You say in Your word that men should not faint but should pray. So now, Lord Jesus, Almighty Father, this petition for Your assistance is brought to You. That Russell, would feel Your strength in him, encourage him, and enlighten him as to the right path to take, so that he can manifest Your wonderful works through this difficulty. In Jesus' Name, we pray and thankyou, Amen.

Just read all the prayers from all of you dear friends, have been so busy taking care of my sister. She passed away on 4/23, funeral is tomorrow morning. My grief is just to much to bare/ She leaves behind 3 children, one who is disabled from birth. I need your prayers, do not cease!!!! I keep all of you in mine daily. All of us have so many needs. I love all of you so dearly for standing by me. Russell is saddened because I can't afford to get him home for the funeral. Please pray for him, about this. It has set him back in his mental and emotional state. I know with Gods love and strength , he will see me through all of this, but right now I feel so sad, so defeated. Please pray !!! Have to go, am in tears.

My Precious Lord, I thank YOu for this day You have given me. Since my sister Brenda passed away, I have been ever so thankful of everyday that I live. Help me to live the way You want me to, to be strong in Your Word and to be a good witness to others. All my friends out there, not only is this prayer for me , but for all of you too. I think of all of you so often. Haven't heard from any of you recently, but you are still in my prayers. I pray for all of your concerns , your health and well being, and that God is meeting your needs.
Russell is back in this area. I do so appreciate your continued prayers for him. He was staying with me for awhile, but my husband was so disagreeable about it, that he had to leave. He went to stay with his sister for now, so we will see how things go. He is under a Drs. care here and getting better. I don't know what will happen next. Please keep him in your prayers.I thank all of you , and I hope someone writes soon. I really need your support. God Bless each and everyone of you.

Our Lord in Heaven,
Again I come to You in prayer tonight for Russell. He is in much back pain from the recent car wreck He was in. He has hardly been able to leave his bed today. I just pray for relief of the pain so he can rest tonight. Please just let his mind be at ease and not concentrating on all his problems. Somehow by Your grace and love, all things will work out. I have faith that You will take good card of us. Just give us the patience we need, and the knowledge to do what is right. Lord I ask You to keep us safe through the night, and for a better tomorrow if You allow us to have another day. In Jesus' precious name I pray, amen
