Prayer Circles

God thank you for a door that was presented to me out of the blue to sing songs in a spiritual venue. This is what I have been asking and waiting for. Today you placed an opportunity right in my lap, unsolicited. I couldn't wait to come home and tell you, and then I had to chuckle because I realized that coming in here and writing down my heart to you is different than the silent prayer I whispered when it happened. This is a moment that I spend with you one-on-one without any traffic, noise, or work interruptions. I am here, you are here, in this moment, and you are my friend that I am thanking for hearing me and opening the doors that I need to move forward. Like John said, you put us in each other's paths for a reason. Now that we are both ready to use our talents for you, something new is fixin to happen. This is a gift to me, God. Thank you. I also thank you for showing me solutions to some of the other overwhelming "problems" that have been lingering over my head these days. There's just something about you, God. It's like a secret. You have secret graces that you send out to me when I trust you. I always feel overwhelmed and humbled by that grace thing. That is what I always wait for. It's always more than what I see with my eyes. The words are not enuf to say how I feel about it. So, just... thank you again.

Dear Lord, thank you for blessing my family with such a great life, and making me realize I need to stop taking great things for granted. You lead the way, and i am so grateful. I love you Lord, thank you for everything. In Jesus' name, I pray, AMEN.

Dear Lord, what I am thankful for is your love and forgiveness that I feel in my heart when I pray and that I see shining out of people as your representatives in the world. I thank you for showing me that you are real, love us immeasurably and long for us to turn to you in prayer, and that you accept any prayers, not just the traditional, but also the childish prayer of the heart! Thank You for good friends who are supportive and understanding and loving....Thank You for my job, that i can work ane gives me alot of satisfication. Thank you for my family that they are fairly healthy and well.Thank you for bringing Marvin in my life, he has shown me a tenderness and love that i never knew before....Thank you also for helping with any future decisions i have to make concerning my life.....i know you will give me Divine Guidance so i make the right choices........

i thank god that my grandmother made it through christmas with lung and brain cancer. i thank god that my dad was able to get time off.

Heavenly Father, today I am grateful for my son being home for Christmas, that my computer is working once again, that our car started and that we have leftover turkey!

Dear God, I refuse to dread. I chose to receive Your grace, to help me accomplish all that I need to do today. Thank You for touching my heart with the knowledge that Robert had rededicated his life to You before going home to You. And that we will see each other again someday. Hallelujah! Amen.

Lord, El Elyon, the highest GOD I am so thankful for waking up today. I used to dread to come to work, but now I have a renewed spirit and I prayed that I would start to be more appreciative of the good time and also of the bad times because if not for the obstacles that are put before me I would not have grown spiritually and otherwise. I thank for you for my family and my two beautiful children but most of all I am so grateful that you are best friend and everytime I am feeling sorry for my self I look around and I realize that things could be worse. My sister got my music equipment out of hock! Whew hoo, thank you God, it was one day before the deadline, too. You saved my b*tt in the nick of time again. I don't know what to do with myself now. I just played the guitar and it sounds incredibly beautiful compared to my clunker. I feel reborn again. I feel humbled. Thank you.

Dear God, I thank you for keeping my relationship strong with my spouse as the bills piled up, and so did the expectations this holiday season. Though we could not give each other Christmas gifts, I thank you for giving us the resources necessary to make sure that no one had to notice that we weren't doing well financially. Thank you God for giving me good health, so that I could get up everyday and earn my pay, and most of all, thank you for giving me a wonderful man to come home to.
