Prayer Circles

Oh I know dear Marci, we all have our 'milk' or 'ice cream' memories, some still painful, that are uniquely our's. I thought that story from Kirk's Dad was so relevant to us all, so that's why I posted it. It's as though we look at the world through our child's eyes and 'see' them in everything they did or said. You must see everything to do with Sean Michael now, you're still in the early Journey, and just losing your dear sister Melody has no doubt exacerbated your grieving, God love you.
Oh, I love the Psalms, they have a poetic faith expressed in them that soothe's my soul. For Shane's 2nd year Anniversary Memoriam we put part of Psalm 41 in it, it's among my favourites, :-). And the Beatitudes - "Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted".
There is much stength and comfort to be found in Scripture!

Oh yes, ha, ha, I remember how your nickname started, :-). Cindy started calling you Miss Verna, and I shortened it to Miss V! Are we the only one's that call you Miss V?
Hey - it just may be time for those lines again, "I will remember to take ny meds. everyday". :-). I'll tell Selva on you, ha, ha.

Hey Sandy, ~ Thanks for letting me know the address of my web site didn't work. I guess it worked for me because it my site? I'll check and find out why it works only for me. :) Try again using the address below. That should do it. :) And you are right; I am guilty of not taking my meds right! So, I am getting started on writing my lines before Selva tells the Rues! Ha-ha! I promise to do much better taking my meds though, because I do feel better the next day once I've had a good night's rest. Let me know if the address below works. :) Yea, ... Hi my dear Angel sisters. I am sorry I have not been posting lately, first I have been deep in the valley and now I am so busy with Income tax season, but I just want you to know that you are always in my prayers (I always have time for prayers). Miss V, you better believe I am keeping an eye on you or else. Marci my dear hermana, I know there are no words, so I just keep on praying for you. My dear Angel in chief Sandy, you know that I am always here for everybody, and thank you for keeping me informed, ha ha Miss V, you have another angel sister keeping an eye on you. And we thank God everyday for our Selva! :) Your posts are always inspiring and go right to the heart of the situation; whatever that might be on any given day! You have a way of letting the sunshine come through, even on one of your deep valley days! I just hope you realize just how much you mean to everyone here. The same is true of all our angel moms; even the silent ones who come to read, but can't post as often as they did in the beginning. The important thing is ... we know that all are an important part of our extended online family who pray for us and each other even though they can't always post; just as we continue to pray for them. We don't have t wonder about things like this, ... We just know it's true! And, I am sure all would agree: ... That is such a good feeling! :) Even on our worst days, we have the assurance that: We are not alone, and there is always someone thinking of us and praying that our heavenly Father will give us those peaceful moments for which we all pray!

Yes, my dear sister, the spies are keeping an eye on Miss V. Ha-ha! So, I must remember to "try" to be good and follow doctor's orders! And, for me, that is not an easy thing to do! As everyone knows, I am a night owl by nature; so taking my meds and going to bed at a decent hour is something to reckon with. But, if I don't, I know our Spy angel moms will make me write lines! Ha-ha! Sometimes, ... after I've said my prayers, I sit on the side of the bed thinking, ... "I can't BELIEVE, I am actually going to bed this early!" But, I know it's for my own good, and the meds help make me sleepy, so I am getting a little better at it.

My love, and thanks to all for encouraging me to take better care of my health issues.

Also, angel moms, I have DUI Meeting today, so pray that I have a safe trip there and back and also that I do well on my presentation. As a former teacher, I always remember to do an outline; but I usually end up not following it, and just speak from my heart. :) I received copies of last months feedback sheets and a note of thanks from our state director just yesterday; and all comments were both positive and encouraging. :) I thank God, for MADD. I believe with all my heart that: Together, ... We are making a difference.:)

Hello to everyone,
Just writing to let you all know that I am still thinking of you at this wonderful circle of love and support for those grieving the loss of a child.
I have been going through yet another loss of my husband Gary. He died on January 23rd, just 16 days ago. He had a liver transplant on Dec. 1, 2004 and had complications from that that he was not able to recover from. We were able to come home after 3 weeks just in time to spend Christmas with our kids and grandkids and spent 2 weeks at home before he got sicker and had to return to Mayo Clinic.
I just wanted to let you all know about this and to request prayer for my family at this time. We are all devastated. Thank you and God Bless each one of you.

Our dear, sweet Yvonne, I can't begin to tell you how sad and sorry I am reading this news. My heart goes out to you sweetie, I can only imagine how devastated you are as well as the rest of your dear family.
I remember your last posting here, you told us that Gary was near the top on the transplant list. I expected to hear good news about it, never, ever this, God love you. You've been through so much already and now losing your beloved Gary.
My deepest sympathies my dear friend, I hope and pray that you're not alone and have family or friends around you right now.
Oh Yvonne, you know you always have our prayers and love, I wish I had words for you to help comfort right now, always, always remember that we're here for you, our love in this Circle will encompass you and we'll be storming Heaven for prayers for you dear one and your family. May Christ's love sustain you during this so sad time.
Please, write back whenever you want to, we'll do whatever we can to help you through this time too.

Dear Yvonne, ~ I am so sorry to read about the loss of you beloved husband, Gary. This has to be a most difficult cross to carry in addition to the loss of the one you already carry on a daily basis. Having suffered the loss of 4 family members less than a year after losing my beloved Diane, I can relate to the difficulty of carrying what sometimes seems like more than one's share of losses. May it comfort you to know that God is still on the throne, and that He truly loves you and will not leave you during this untimely storm! May it help to know that all of us here are praying for you and family; that God will keep you all in His loving care!

This past December 26th, as waves engulfed the town of Vailankanni, a Mass was taking place in the shrine, with 2000 pilgrims in attendance. Although it left the entire town in shambles, the deadly water did not enter the Basilica, and everyone present was spared. According to the BBC, the shrine was the only building to escape the devastation, even though buildings farther inland were destroyed. What do these miracles mean? Why did God take some of His children and spare others?

Perhaps it shows that a) God is in control. And b) There is a divine plan for each of us, and those taken play just as important a role in that plan as those who are spared. This life is simply a gateway to the eternity we all hope to share, with God and with His angels.

Angelmoms,
Right after my son Sean passed away, my husband was talking to his mother. She had recently lost her husband of 5o-some years, her own mother (she was an only child and her mom moved in with them on their wedding day)her father, and three sons, two as adults.
My husband asked her how she did it. How did she get through such loss. She told him that you must have HOPE. HOPE IN THE LORD and that one day we will be in eternity and reunited with our loved ones again. HOPE.

May God Bless us all with His great Hope.

My dear sister Marci. You are an Angel here on Earth and one of these days you will realized, you have gone through so much, all of us have gone through the worse pain in this Earth, and you are still giving us prayers and Hope. I have been on valley days lately, but you and all my Angel sisters here, are an inspiration for me to go on. I have been on a "pity party" lately, my family is getting smaller, all I have is a brother and sister , yes my nieces and nephews who live so far , in Venezuela and Dominican Rep and one here, that is all of my family, but I thank God for it, they are really wonderful, but I (when I am in the Pity Party) think, wow I will love to have a large family, oh well, maybe it is better this way, less people crying over me when I go to Heaven, and I will be so very happy to be with Solange again! I wish they will not cry. Just think mi hermana, the encounter!, your sister is already in Heaven, happy and with Sean Michael, she is laughing right now, can you understand what I mean? I hope you do, her time came, she finished her mission. It is up to us to finish out mission however long it takes, and then The Encounter! That is the reward for all of us. Love you all Selva

Dearest Verna, thank you for you for being able to feel my spirit. God is Great indeed. He alone helps to strengthen my spirit as time goes by. My yearning for God and my loved ones will not stop and will continue to grow with strength in the Holy Spirit.. so that we are able to heal through the Holy Spirit and will one day be with God and our loved ones forever.

God has given us this kind of "yearning feeling" .. to let us know that life on this earth is just temporary and that we have to spend our time, preparing ourselves, to spend eternity with Him and our loved ones. Each one of us will have a task to do..and we have to fine tune our sixth sense to know what God has chosen for each one of us.

Right now, my current task is to continue to give my love to everyone.. our brothers and sisters and let them know that God's powerful love for us.. is shining through all the earth. No matter what may happen (e.g. tsunami) as long as we believe in His Great Love.. we will all be lifted up.. much higher then the wind, rain or tide would soar... and most of all...much higher after all our broken hearts have been healed.

I believe in all of these.. and all that God has promised us.. and we continue to claim our rights, as children of God.. in our Heavenly Father's promises... no matter how sad one may feel at times. Amen Abba, Amen Abba.. Amen. Let Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
