Thomas W. Glenn Jr.
Tommy was a wonderful man. He was charming, intelligent, charismatic and good-hearted. He could always put a smile on your face.

This prayer circle is for all of those who are suffering from the disease of addiction, dealing with a family members addiction, or those of us who have lost a loved one to addiction. In loving memory of Tommy. September 2,1975-January 27,2001. God Bless

This prayer circle is in memory of Thomas W. Glenn Jr. Tommy was an intelligent, articulate, charming and good-hearted young man. His life ended short at the young age of 25. A true genius, the things he could have achieved if given the chance. On a cold Januay morning he passed away from "bad heroin". His family and loved ones miss him desperately and need prayers. Also, in honor of Tommy the prayers are being said for all of those suffering from the disease drug addiction, families dealing with addiction and loved ones of those who have passed on due to addiction. Tom was a conquerer, if this could beat him...it could beat anyone. Please help one another. Please Lord, give me the strength to continue to fight for this cause. God bless you.

WE LOVE YOU TOM!!!

Tom, you are in the Lords hands now and one day we will meet again For now, I pray for you all the peace and happiness in heaven.

To Quigley,I'VEseen your mail on here quite a few times asking for tis help,and each time my heart has so gone out to you and i have wanted to break down and cry for you.Honey,alcohol and drugs are never going to be the anwser.We think at times they may be,but your promblems are still there,and the pain is still there ,and until you see darling this is time for you just put everything in GOD'S hands.For HE KNOWS ALL,SEE ALL,AND IS WITH YOU THROUGH IT ALL .Quigley, I use to do the same thing,I use to tink that if I could just erase it all , it would go away,and if I pleaded and begged the one that was caucing me so much pain would come back. U ntil GOD steps in and restores what has been damaged and broken, you have a haert that needs so much repairing now, LET GOD ENTER FULLY IN AND DO THE HEALING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.THERE WAS A SAYING IN THE 70'S that even still seems to hold true even today, if you something set it free, if it comes back it is yours,if it does'nt it never was.DEAR LORD,I COME IN ASKING FOR PRAYER FOR QUIGLEY. LORD, YOU KNOW HER HEARTRIGHT NOW.And i ask LORD that YOU just be with her, help her throughn this trying times in her life right now,help her to see that she is not alone .YOU ARE RIGHT THERE BESIDE HER.IN ALL THIS I ASK AND PRAY, IN JESUS HOLY NAME,AMEN.LOVE&Faith,forever,KRIS.

Ask yourself what is the Kingdom of Heaven. Open your heart to the power of Truth. Refuse to deceive or be deceived. Let Truth enter into your heart and being today. Say nothing but the Truth, think nothing but the Truth and know only the Truth. Then quite simply you are free from all the devils lies and deceptions for you have chosen to dwell in the revelation of Truth. The Truth is you are God's beloved child, perfect and sinless. Like the Prodigal son we have to "come to ourselves" our true spiritual identity as the loved of Love.
Recognise that it is Love that makes the world go round and alcohol and drugs are a pure deception that has no power when we give up the desire for them. They have no power over us unless we give them the power. Desire instead to be pure and free, to let go of the past and look forward to the future of peace and joy as an Adorable Angel, tuned into God's station, thinking only good thoughts. Then you have found the Kingdom of Heaven!

Heavenly Father this prayer goes out to my daughter who is chemically addicted. She has left her two young daughters with the paternal grandmother and their dad and has moved to Georgia. I pray that you will engulf your angels around her and protect her from any hurt harm or danger. I believe that you will deliver her from this addiction just like you did me. I know if she truly wants to be delivered and healed from this stronghold that you will and can set her free. I am so afraid that she may become a product of prostitution, theft or death that it hurts me whenever I think about it. I can only imagine how Tommy's family feels and pray that my daughter at the age of 19 will not become a statistic also. Thank you in advance for her deliverance and healing not only in her addiction but also in her mind and spirit. AMEN

Hi Kris,

Thank you for your prayers and for keeping me in your thoughts. It helps when I come to work in the morning and read your kind words and know that you are praying for me. I am doing better with being alone but I'm still struggling with the alcohol but I know your prayers are helping. I just pray that someday I can conquer my addiction or at least get a handle on it. I thank the Lord for people like you and for helping me to find this site. God Bless

Dear Lord and Father of us all,
Forgive our foolish ways;
Reclothe us in our rightful mind;
In purer lives Thy service find,
In deeper reverence, praise.

Drop Thy still dews of quietness,
Till all our strivings cease;
Take from us now the strain and stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
The beauty of Thy peace.

Dear Lord, thank You for the sun you have given us today, thank You for the birds with their melodies, for the gentle breeze in the morning air, for the fresh scent the morning dew carries, thank YOU for every day You give us on this earth to step one bit closer back to You...and above all thank You for the people You have blessed me with in my life, i am grateful to You for allowing me to know a person of such character she can reach those half a world away with her compassion, reaching out to them to let them know they are not alone, their suffering not in vain, their cries are heard. She is a beautiful person whom i am not sure knows how much of an angel she really is, in all ways comforting, loving, humoring, willful, wise and most of all forgiving...i pray to you God to help me be more like her, to learn to forgive, and heal, like so many who read these prayers i pray for something special to... to enlighten those suffering from addiction with forgiveness, of themselves, of those who hurt them which could be the reason the addiction became, and for whatever wrongs might cloud their path to You on any given day...let them know You love them somehow, they need to see that, let the burden ease, the pain begin to subside and the wounds to heal. Already this day You have done more than enough by blessing us with the sun and sky safely kept in place, but bless our children who are hurt and falling behind in walking to You, give then peace of mind, shoulders to cry on, reason to live in this life nomatter how hard this life may be. For this i pray in Your name, Amen.

God, we don't talk much but You still pay me full attention when i do, without judgement you listen to me and my problems, it's easy to think that i'm important enough for You to grant me Your time whenever i'm ready, and selfish...but thank You for doing so anyway...let me practice good will, let me vent frustration positively without wrath and regret, let me know burden like your Son, let me learn to be the me You want me to be, because i don't want to keep the bad in me i've let in, help me get all that negatine energy out, let me have more opportunities to act as Jesus did, let me back in Your Heart, i miss the warmth there so much it hurts...dear God for Your help i pray on this day and the next forever, Amen.

Dear Father
May we all appreciate that as Divine Love dwells within us, and we share that Love with all, then we are dwelling in the Kingdom of Heaven and there is no night there, no pain there, no disease there, no death there, for yours is the light of eternal Life. And basking in this light we accept our perfection. For as the Bible tells us, Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father who is (also) in Heaven is perfect. Now is come salvation and the Kingdom of our God (of harmony,peace, dominion, freedom.)and the power of His Christ (to uplift, heal and bless) Amen and Amen

This is an excerpt from the book "Am I going to Heaven?" Stories of street kids. This message hit home with me & I hope that it inspires others as well.
On the street I saw a girl cold and shivering in a thin dress, with little hope of a decent meal. I became angry and said to God: "why do you permit this? Why don't You do something about it?" For a while God said nothing. That night he replied quite suddenly: " I certainly did something about it, I made you"

Hi Kris,

Thank you for caring so much - I wish I could say that I have been cured and all is well but let the truth be known I am still struggling. My daughter has been w/ her father for over a week now and all I seem to do is go out and party. I seem to surround myself w/ friends that drink - and then every morning I get up to go to work and wonder what the heck I was thinking the night before! Keep praying for me please - this is going to be a long, hard road. On the lighter side of things, my broken heart is mending and every other aspect of my life seems to be falling into place. And I truly believe that I can contribute a lot of that to the prayers that have been said for me here on this sight. So, I will not give up hope that I can learn to slow down and stop drinking so much - God bless you for caring.

Dear Lord,

Please give me the strength and willpower to say no to that which makes me weak - please help me learn to enjoy life with a clear and sober mind. Please help me to open my mind and heart to where you intended me to go in life. Amen

I pray for all. Im an alcoholic and was kicked out of my house last week bye my fiance..I have been living with my parents for 1 week and did a lot of soul searhing and prayer and now am off the booze( it's rough) but one day at a time. I stood to loose a future husband of 2 1/2 yrs, 2 dogs a house, career etc.. I didnt want to face that I was a drunk till I finally almost lost everything. I asked for Gods help and can only take 1 day at a time being and trying to stay Sober. I will be moving back home this weekend and what keeps me Sober for now is my boyfrined said he will not allow me to come back or marry me if I go back to the Booze( even 1 drink)..I ruined his life , mine all because of my own insecurties. I praise Jesus that I have such a wonderful loving supportive man whom forgave me for all my beatings on him etc..and for giving me a 2nd chance with him and life living as a 38 Sober woman. I will pray for all, take it 24 hr at a time, Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not here. Live for the day, be sober for the day and if you screw up just ask god for help and start over. God bless all,
BA, :-)
