Dear Sandy,My first name is Sharon,my second is Lee,and they Mary was added when I was Baptised Catholic as a baby.
When I joined there were alot of Sharon's and sharonlee's,so I added the Mary,the 05 is for the five children I have raised and am raising.Just call me Sharon.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year,and I pray it will be a better one for all.

Sandy, thanks for the e-card...I loved it! We didn't do anything for last night...stayed in watched a movie, watched the ball drop and went to bed. I was awake half the night worrying about Christopher, praying that he would be okay. Then at 3:50 am my phone rang and I was so scared I couldn't almost answer it. That is how I received the news about Aaron (in the middle of the night via phone call). Well, I finally did answer and it was one of Christopher's friends looking for him. He accidentally called our home phone instead of his cell phone. Well, needless to say I was then even more worried because the boy who called was where Christopher was supposed to be. He said he had just left and he apologized for calling and waking us. Shortly after Christopher came home safe and sound. Then I could relax and get some sleep. I hate it. I hate worrying all the time. I keep telling myself that the opposite of worry is faith, but I still can't seem to quit. I want all of this to be over. I know they say it gets a little easier but sometimes it is just too much and I am truly tired of hanging on. You know what I mean? I feel like I am just waiting and waiting.....but for what?

Yes, it is a very hard time of the year, but today is the last of the Holidays, and I pray that your pain and everyone else's eases up a bit, now that they are almost over. Happy New Year dear Lisa! Glad you liked the e-card, :-) We did prety much the same, watched the ball drop, and called it a night - uh-oh, does that mean we're getting old?, ha, ha! Our son Chris on the other hand went to some swanky New Year's Eve party, and I think the champagne was flowing a little too much, he called us this morning to wish us a Happy New Year and said he didn't feel very well, :-)
Oh gosh dear Lisa, I guess that would give you quite a fright! I think raising boys is a little different from raising girls. I remember oh too well our two coming in well past their curfew, I couldn't sleep, and I alternated with anger and worry. Then they would both come through the door and look at me and say "What?" as if they hadn't done anything wrong, :-) Grounded again! I think Chris just doesn't realize what worry he's putting you through, perhaps if you explained to him how much it bother's you, and bring's back painful memories of Aaron's passing for you, especially getting a dreaded phone call in the wee hours of the morning again, hopefully he'll understand. And your worry is heightened also, we tend to become very protective of our remaining child/children. Lisa, you've just been through a painful fright, so don't be too hard on yourself right now about worrying, it doesn't mean a lack of faith for you, any parent in your situation last night would have been worried too, given the circumstances! I do understand, AngelMom Lisa, I've been in that place where you are now, and I know you must get tired of hearing it, but it WILL get better, it's only been a year and a half for you, and the grief is still there. You still need to give yourself more time, as much as you wish it was all over. Sometimes our movement in grieving is imperceptible, but underneath it all, you are stirring, and slowly moving ahead. Please just give yourself the time you so need right now,

For my brother Michael, who heroically sacrificed his life trying to rescue a trapped Fire Fighter on September 11, 2001; I pray that he will be filled with the joy and illumination of heaven. And that his soul will continue to climb to higher levels and that he will be closer to God.

My heart and Prayers go to you and your family. I had to send this prayer to my mom because she and my father just lost my older brother who was 21. He passed on December 15, 2003 at 9:45 am. Then his birthday was on December 26th so it's been really hard.It is really hard because he was my bestfriend and I, as well as my parents are still grieving. So, I can only imagine how it feels to lose a son but I definately know how it feels to lose a brother as well as a best friend. May God comfort you, strengthen you and be your comforter. Please pray for my parents and myself for our lose as well. I just feel like my life has no meaning anymore but I know God took my brother because it his journey on this earth was done. Just know that Everything happens for a reason and we are only on this earth for a season.

Hello Salminor, your beloved brother Michael died a hero, God love him, putting his own safety aside to help his fellow firefighter on that tragic day, I know you and your family must miss him very, very much, may he soar high, and our prayers and love are with you and your family for enduring such a hard loss, we as a people are deeply grateful for the brave men and women who put their own lives on the line in order to help/save us,

Ay me dear you should know that your beloved brother Michael was a hero for our country, He has so many prayers and of course we will storm Heaven with our prayers for Him. You are proud of him but I know you rather have him back, but He finished his mission here on Earth, He graduated it from this Earth with all Honors, now he is watching after all of you his dear family, but remember Love is Eternal, your love for him will never die, so he is eternal, he is still there watching over all of you. To All Members of our Circle of Love: ~ Thank you for praying for me. I am counting my blessings daily.

Due to the holidays, ... Missing my precious Daughter, Diane, MaDear, my brother, Charles; as well as numerous other losses, ... failing health, worrying about family issues; [My oldest sister who has learned she may have to undergo more extensive surgery. She has decided to have more tests, and get a second opinion.] My mother-in-law, who at age 91, is now sleeping most of the time]; All are issues which I realize are beyond my control. :(

Yet, I have allowed all of these things to consume me, bringing on depression that zaps ones effort to maintain a joyful spirit; at least most of the time.

I've had to make some hard decisions recently. Decisions I thought I had made for keeps, a long time ago. :)

Hopefully, I have regrouped, with God's help and your prayers! God willing, I will begin submitting posts again on a more regular basis.

For days now, I have been very depressed due to having to follow doctor's orders, and really make a serious effort to take care of my hands, & other health issues. The severe pain helped me in my decision to refrain from posting for a few days! :) Also, the swelling in my ankles helped me decide to take my meds, stay in bed with my feet propped up! :)

Just as it is with grief, there are no written rules set in stone when it comes to aging and remembering to take care of health issues. It's a day to day thing, and many times, it's very difficult to keep trying on a regular basis. But, try we must... [We owe it to ourselves, our children, and many others ... And we owe it to God, to keep trying], One, breath, one minute, one hour at a time! And, as always, ... To God be the glory! God's peace & blessings to all.
