Sorry, can't even type today, the pain in my back is driving me crazy. It'll be a day full of prayer and pacing. It's days like these that I really do miss Jami just to help do the little thnigs like walk the dogs, etc. And the hugs. But I am luckier than alot, and I do Thank God for the blesssings I do have which are plenty.

9/19/2008 11:27

rcomp22992-I pray healing and strength for your back pain today. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His Goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men.(Psalm 107:8) In Jesus Name. Amen

NEEDGODWINKS~In response to your posting on 9/14/08: Standing for the healing and restoration of my marriage, was one of the, if not THE HARDEST things I've ever done. It's a process. And it's hard. But, I'm glad that the devil didn't win this battle. Continue to be steadfast and unmovable. Don't quit standing unless God tells you to do so. I am so proud of you! It's easy to quit. It takes work to make a marriage prosper.

And don't worry about him being there or not being there for your surgery. Know that I'll be there in spirit. And most importantly, the Holy Spirit will be there with you. You are going to be just fine.

Lord, I thank You for not only healing and restoring this marriage, but I thank You that the surgery she's going to have in the upcoming weeks will be a great success. I thank You for guiding the surgeons' hands. May there be no complications. I thank You that she will be in little-to-no pain/discomfort. I thank You that she will have a speedy recovery. I plead the blood of Jesus over her, from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

9/19/2008 13:24

AMY07~In response to your posting on 9/16/08: Oftentimes, things get worse before they get better. Don't let Satan win. Satn is already a defeated foe. You already have the victory through Christ. Stand firm in it...Stand on the promises of the Lord.

Lord, I thank You that she will live by FAITH and not by sight. May she not listen to the lies of the enemies or fall for any of his evil schemes. Strengthen her for this ordeal, Lord. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

9/19/2008 13:31

RCOMP22992~In response to your posting on 9/16/08: Venting your frustrations is okay. But I don't want you to be mad at the girlfriend. Be mad at the situation and the fact that it is Satan working through her. He's {Satan} working through her to get you to quit standing. Realize who your real enemy is and put on your armor and fight (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Father God, I thank You that she will not get so upset to the point where it raises her blood pressure to dangerous levels. I thank You that the 'girlfriend' will stop contacting her. I thank You, Lord, for keeping her strong during this difficult ordeal. May her husband be convicted to the point of repentance by Your Holy Spirit. Draw him closer to You and lead him back to his family. May Your Will be done. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

9/19/2008 13:36

RCOMP22992~In response to your posting on 9/17/08: I was falsely accused of doing things to my husband during our separation. Don't fall for it. Don't even get mad about it. The truth will come out eventually, and God will vindicate you.

9/19/2008 15:32

Please pray for my marriage. Please pray that we are able to heal from each others mistake. Please pray that if this relationship is not repairable, that I have the strength to let go. That's the hardest part, the thought of having to let go. So I ask, please pray for us. Thanks.

9/19/2008 15:56

sladson- Nothing is impossible with the Lord. I pray your marriage will be healed of all hurts and restored back to a healthy one. May each one of you forgive the other. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thy own understanding, in all they ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths.(Proverbs 3:5,6) Stand firm in your Faith. I loose the blood of Jesus over your household. In Jesus Name. Amen

9/19/2008 16:06

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me, freeing me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. I cried out to the Lord in my suffering, and he heard me. He set me free from all my fears. For the angel of the Lord guards all who fear him, and he rescues them.

Psalm 34:4-7 NLT

I wanted to share this scripture with you friends today. It helped me this morning and made me feel better. I only hope that it will do the same for someone else. Dear friends Satan is trying harder and harder everyday. We have to stand firm and rely on God. We must learn to "walk on our knees". Do not let yourselves get caught up in listening to other people that are not Christians. Only let yourself associate with people that understand your faith and your walk.
RCOMP-- I understand your feelings with the other woman. one of the hardest things I had to do was to forgive her and to sit back and realize that it was Satan having his way but using her as his ammunition. You need to get to a place within yourself that you can forgive her and don't let her get to you. Ask God , believe me, he will show you.
Please continue to pray for me and my husband. He still needs a lot of prayer. I believe and thank God that his eyes are starting to really be opened to certain things.

God Bless you all!!!! Praying for you all!

Morning everybody. I'd say Good morning, but it's not .... I am very down today and I'm not sure what caused it. Ever since I prayed last Monday and literally and figuratively handed EVERYTHING over for Christ to carry, I've been relatively calm. Until last night when I dropped our daughter off at a halfway point for her weekend with daddy. This is their college football game weekend. I cried the whole way home ... I cried most of last night ... I cried through the night .... I've been crying all morning. Of course, I am praying all of this time too... I just don't know what I should be doing --- and I'm sorry, but I really NEED something GOOD to happen to me right now. I found out last night (and my husband confirmed it this morning) that the GF is looking for a house and he's included in the decision. I'm pretty sure I know where this is going ......
But he still wants to talk to me and he still hugs me when we do drop off/pick up. I'm just so afraid to hope......
Then on the other hand, I keep thinking about how one sided our marriage had become and I wonder if maybe this is God's way of giving me someone capable of loving me ....? See, told you it wasn't a good day!
I have a question for you guys tho---
When I read my Bible, I read specific verses and then I shut my Bible and whereever it opens, I find something relative and read it. Very interesting what comes up sometimes. Well, last night I kept doing it and here were the actual chapters/verses that came up ... (1) Prayer of Jabez (2) Isaiah 9 (I think I got this one .... it's the name of my counseling program) (3) 1 Timothy 2
Can anyone tell me what message God may have been trying to tell me?? Because I really believe that's how He talks to me sometimes and I don't want to miss something.
Keep praying for me please. I'm so confused right now.

I'm still praying for all of you .... here's hoping it's helping ....

needgodwinks-I believe only you can know for sure that the Holy Spirit speaks to you in that way. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and will not with hold, and it shall be given to you.(James 1:5) He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might, he increaseth strength. ((Isaiah 40:29). I bind the enemy trying to come against your soul(mind, will, and emotions). But they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount of with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint(Isaiah 40:31). I cover your household with the blood of Jesus. Amen

9/20/2008 13:12

needgodwinks-We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed, we are perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed.(2 Corinthians 4:8-9) Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us (Romans 8:37) In Jesus Name. Amen

Hi, have a sad/lonely/hurt night myself. Daughter not home and husband came home at 5 am. Sometimes I do not know him. We talk and he has divorce on his mind. He is moving the end of the month. He is moving out to a small apt and not with other woman so far. He won't admit to her but she is there waiting like a serpent. I am standing for my marriage and stepping back and have asked the Lord to keep working on my husband. I pray and work on my failings. Keep away anger which does no good. Treat my husband as I would want to be treated. Let him see the changes in my heart and soul and respond to them. I have faith. God hates divorce and I am trying to give no reason for my husband to want to divorce me. I pray for my 2 girls that they will have faith and stand with me during this difficult time and pray that their Dad will see the light. God bless to you all that are suffering Amy, needgodwinks and the others that found their way to this site as I have found. Isa and Lashonda you are 2 of the angels that are on this board. We appreciate your continued prayers and all of us that pray for each other.

9/20/2008 21:48

hope3343- I pray that the Holy Spirit will convict your husband, and that he will listen and realize he is making a wrong choice. Thou I walk in the midst of trouble, thou will revive me, thou shall stretch forth thine hand, against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save(deliver me).Psalm 138:7) The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him.(Nahum 1:7) Casting ALL your care upon HIM, for he cares for you.1 Peter 5:7) Be of good courage, and he sall strenghten thine heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.Psalm 31:24) In Jesus Name.

Morning to all, May God be with each of us today as well as all others that are hurting. I too, had the bible open last night and came upon Psalms 37 wait patiently for the Lord. I know it is hard, but I feel he will do a mighty work, it's just going to take time. Needgodwinks, I am so sorry, my hubby too cries and hugs me whenever I see him, and this hasn't been since Sept 21. He's in jail now and she's going to visit but things are NOT going good for her. I pray for her to realize that she is doing him more harm than good, and God will let her see that we need to work on our relationship before they can start one. Hope, I too know the feeling of waiting for them to come home, and being lonely I pray that the Lord comforts and holds us tight through all this. I pray nightly for our marriages and during the day too. May God Bless all of you. Thank you Isa for the words of encouragement.

9/21/2008 09:28

Amen

9/22/2008 08:36

9/22/2008 11:04

Asking for continued prayers for my marriage and our daughters. I know so many people are praying for us and appreciate all these prayers. My husband came to church with us this Sunday again. He came of his own free will and when he was there, I prayed to God that here he is Lord, please continue to work on him. We put more than 20 years into our marriage before he gave up, so Im certainly not going to give up after 2.5 months.
I pray for peace and God's love to bless these marriages and help them thrive. Let God show us the way since we cannot handle this on our own. Bless everyone on this site that is praying for us and needing prayers. God will answer good prayers. God hates divorce. Please restore our marriages and make them being surrounded by God's love.

9/22/2008 11:17

Hope, that is such good news, I will continue to pray fervently for all of us and hope all will do same. I haven't heard from Jami since he went to jail this time, and just wish I would receive something(other than divorce papers). I know they get them up at 4:30 for bfast, and for some reason I woke up at 4:36 having had a dream of him talking tome, I'm just praying that it was a sign from above that he is thinking of me, and misses me too.

9/22/2008 11:20

Hope, again like me, I don't understand how after 18/20 years in 2.5 months (mine left just after Father's day) their feelings can so quickly change. I do believe that God will do his work, and I will not let Satan win this battle
