Step 11

May we all seek through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understand Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry it out.

I pray for all the still sick and suffering alcoholics.

I used to get angry and disgusted with my mother-in-law for her outbursts when she was drunk. It suddenly struck me the other day how unhappy she was, and (shamefully) it was the first time I really had compassion for her. Please, Father, open her eyes to the fact that she cannot conquer this addiction alone, and that the first thing she needs to do is admit that she has a problem. I fear for her health, because she already has hepititis C. Please heal her heart and help her get to the root of what is causing her unhappiness rather than drowing them in alcohol.
Thank You dear Jesus, for Your compassion on all of us for our flaws, and loving us despite our fallen nature!
In Christ, amen.

God, please hear my prayer for all addicts, give them the courage to break the circle of addictions, bring peace to them and their families. Also as a mother of these children please grant me and all mothers the courage to follow the Lords way and not to take things in their own hands. Trust in Jesus to show us the way. Amen

My Heavenly Daddy;
This has been on here almost a year. I used to come back every few days to check it and found nothing...
Now I come back and have found many people have added their prayers to mine.
Thank-you Daddy for letting me still be sober and clean 2 years, 7 months, 3 weeks and 6 days.
I pray for knowledge of your will and the power to carry it out.
How may I be of service to you today.
Please forgive us Daddy we know not what we do.
Thy will be done, not mine.
