For Growth of Shinto Outside Japan

Shinto is alive in America; let us in the Shinto community pray that it continues to grow!

Through strong spiritual connection some Americans, Canadians, Italians, etc. have formed with the Kamisama, the ancient way of Japan has spread to many other parts of the world. The Shinto community is chiming with spirit, and there is a definite stirring within us to embrace the simplicity and peace inherent to Shinto. However, the Shinto community outside Japan is also a small one. Let us pray for the continued guidence and intercession of the Kami in the expansion of Shinto as a whole wherever it may be. Let us pray that those without Shinto community may nonetheless receive the blessings of the nurturing Kami. With this sacred bond being cultivated as it is, and with determined, true effort, Shintoists everywhere may experience the Kamisama of both Heaven and Earth. Feel free to pray also for the growth of Shinto awareness and Shinto-related groups across the globe.

	linkoric 8/25/2011 18:25	I pray to Amaterasu, Okuninushi, and the unnamed (by humans) kami who allowed her presence to be felt and helped me open myself spiritually. I give my thanks and I pray that I find the strength I need to tell the world with a proud voice who I pray too. I pray that all may be touched as I have. Help me overcome my weaknesses. Thank you for the beauty that I see in nature.
