Zac A
ZA: young gay teen, extremely insecure

ZA is only fourteen and feels like he is under extreme pressure. he found out he is gay about three years ago and is extremely insecure and is constantly afraid other people are judging him. He has not come out about being gay.

ZA is a young gay teen who feels pressured to be what other people want him to be and says it is literally driving him insane. He figured out that he was gay about three years ago and feels extremely insecure about himself. He is constantly afraid of what other people are thinking of him. He hasn't come out to hus family or any one else about being gay. He just wants to be able to be humself and be able to live life to the fullest possible extent that he can but in not capable of that right now and he feels miserabele. He is in desperate need of hope and wants to have this load lifted off of him. His family can be rather harsh/judgemental sometimes and he is scared of what would happen if he told them he was gay. ZA has been diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder and is showing symptoms of Depression. I believe that the cause of all of this stress is the fear of rejection from his family for being gay.

Our Heavenly father who knows all desires and from whom no secrets are hid, we pray for our gay brothers and sisters who live in fear and uncertainty that they might lose the approval of man. We love you, Lord. We pray that You will lead us to love EACH neighbor as we love ourselves.

We pray for each gay brother and sister that You remove fear and loneliness from their hearts. As we are young in love and young in Christ - bless us with Your peace. Be with each of us in our time to try on the Rainbow Vest. Make it a shield to the adversity of man, and a mirror of your never-ending love. Bless us to find a good fit.

And be with us, Lord, the lovers, friends, family, supporters, who wear the Rainbow Vest for those who cannot wear theirs today. Bless us all and remind us of Your greatest commandment on which hang all others: Love. Love.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I hope that maybe one day you may find the strength to come out and be able to enjoy the freedom of exressing who you really are to others. Don't let others views and thoughts discourage you from doing something that you need to do to be you. I'm so glad that you know how you feel and I' praying for you and hoping one day you can do what you need to do.

It's funny how the universe works.
I was goofing around online today and decided to Google my name followed by the word needs "Zac needs"
When I saw "Father, Zac needs you..." I knew I couldn't pass it up.
Now, my beliefs may differ from most of those on this site but, that doesn't matter. I have faith.
My name is Zac. I'm 27 and I'm gay.
To Zac A: Keep your faith. At times, that may be all you have to hold on to but, it's the most powerful force in the Universe. If you send your love out into the world daily, you will get it in return in abundance. Just be confident, considerate and caring. Stay on the path that makes you happy and don't let the words of others sway you from that path. Our parents are people too and as we grow, they might not agree with everything we do. Just keep faith that they will learn to accept you for the son they love.

To many of the people that have posted:
It is so comforting (to the point that I'm crying) to see so many people who are of certain religious backgrounds doing what I, personally, believe everyone should do; helping a soul in need without condemning. You are the voices the world needs to hear. It was nice to be reminded that you are you there.

Much love,
Zac H.
