It is June tomorrow...
Did he go to jail?

I know what James is going through. My ex-husband is an alcoholic. He was able to quit with the Lord's help. God is the only one that can take that urge and desire away. Keep praying and asking for God's help and it will come. It took my ex about six months with daily prayer. I will pray for James. Lord, watch over him daily and keep him safe from all harm and wrong doings. Please make him stronger as each day passes. I know he can do it with your help only. In Christ's name I pray. Thank you Lord. Amen

Lord, I thank you for the wisdom and perserverance of A.A. founders Dr. Bob and Bill W., and for all the people their program has saved. I ask now that James may be able to fight this disease of alcoholism, and find the strength not only to gain his own sobriety, but to help others do the same.

Dear Lord: please release this man from his chains and allow him to remain free as sometimes it is hard to remain positive. Once a person make a major decision like that and then be forced to go to jail is very hard on the will power. I pray that he has to go that he understands the lesson he has to learn and that he will be a better person because of it. amen

1/4/2005 19:05

I prey that James will be strong and no matter what happens it is meant to happen to help us learn. I prey that he knows his angels are by his side. Good Luck.

1/17/2005 07:27

Oh Lord please have mercy on James. In this time of remorse please give James the time to be with his family and the blessing of your presence. I pray that James sees that it did not work his way and to give it all to the Lord. Our Father will trade our worries and sufferings for peace, salvation, and Love. Let James see the Light that leads him to a life of contentment. Amen in our Father's Name

1/28/2005 15:05

James life is hard for all of us. We all go through our rough ends. Please look into yourself and your family and we will all pray for you. But you sir have to believe in yourself and the Lord. And look into your families eyes and just give you and your family. They love and care for you as much as all of us do. And you sir have to be strong for your FAMILY! Please James Open your eyes. And breath with us. In the name of our Lord, Amen!

3/7/2005 16:51

Dear God, please help James to remain sober. Please rain your loving kindness down on James and his family. Please help him to maintain, while he serves time for the mistakes that he has made. Allow James to remain strong in faith and in spirit. As I've asked, let it be.

Heavenly Father,
In Jesus' name, I lift James to you. Please continue to strenghten him and use him. Touch his heart to know that you are guiding his path. I praise you for James and for his place in life so that you can be glorified. Be with his family. Fill their hearts with love from you. I thank you for them and for your grace. In the name of my Lord Jesus Christ, Amen

7/27/2005 21:58

God, our Creator, please bless James and his family and help him with his continuing struggles.

10/24/2005 16:06

Our Loving God,
We were made to be imperfect beings. James' mistakes are mortal mistakes and your gracious love is with him regardless of his past. Please give he and his family hope, the hope to persist, the hope to move on, and the hope to heal. James is trying and needs your comfort right now. Unfortunately, it takes much longer to start a good habit than a bad one, but you made James for a purpose and you have given him the power to overcome his fears and patterns of alcohol abuse. Let James know that you have a purpose for him and that he is loved so much and that he can do it. Help him to keep reaching out. Please give him peace. Thank you for your undying love. We can all do it by following your guided light. Amen.

11/28/2005 08:50

Dear Lord Jesus,
Let James be reminded that you came to earth and walked among the tadcollectors and sinners. The very ones the people of the church said to stay away from. You came to save the sick and heal the infirmed. Even to this day you come to us, the sinners, and you touch a part of our hearts that makes us want to turn our burdens over to you and find comfort in you, because we can't find it in this world. As long as we keep our eyes focused on the saving grace you shed for us, we can face any man-made situation because we know you will be there carrying us through it. Those are your promises. Whether it be inprisonment, death, disease, any separation of flesh will not separate me from my Lord. We realize James is trying and is now a saved man, but God does not ask you to ask for your will, whatever the outcome God will make this into a blessing for you. The Bible confirms that when we seek God's will he will turn our circumstances into blessings. But don't look into the immediate, it took Abraham 25 years to have a child from the time God told him he was going to. No child of God's is a waste. He will bless you. So, we pray, that whatever your will Lord, go with James and guide him through. If it be your will for living at home, than thy will be done. That's what Jesus said to god in the garden before he was crucified.

Yours In Christ,

1/17/2006 13:29

Heavenly Father: I join this group of caring people in prayer for James and his family. Lord I know that you are a God of mercy, that you do not cast out anyone that comes to you with constricted heart, therefore I lift James into your presence that you will protect him and guide him in his efforts to change his ways. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN

1/21/2006 12:17

WE all fall short of your glory. We are not here to judge but to lift others up in your name. Please bless James and his family. We ask for Mercy and Grace Jesus. Use his trials to keep him strong in your word. God bless!

2/4/2006 23:01

Almighty God, creator of all things, giver of all gifts, guard the heart and mind of James with the warmth of your presence and the reassurance of your grace. Pardon his offenses and deliver him into newness of life in your son, Jesus Christ. Create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him—mold and form his mind into a vessel of your love that may overflow to the world around him. Do not rebuke him in your wrath, Lord, but place the just death owed him upon the shoulders of our Savior. And give him a penitent heart that would rejoice in this happening.

In the name of Christ, Amen.

I see this was first posted. What ever the outcome, we are all responsible for our actions. I jail is the outcome, God uses that to teach us about ourselves and to develope in us what he has given us to glorify him. If james was spared going to jail, then open your eyes, man and be grateful for God's mercy. Learn from this, you made mistakes, ask forgivness and do what you promise god when you pray to be delivered from the consequences. I broke a lot of promises i made to Him, and after many deliveries from jail, God finally allowed me to be sentenced and that is where I finally saw my selfishness and self serving actions were not what Jesus showed me how to live, through all I had read in the scriptures. It still isn't easy doing what is right, but it is rewarding. And if i save one from taking the path that i did, then I am blessed to be able to serve my God
