I was diagnosed with PCOS 7 years ago. It began when I was an adolescent. At the age of 19, I had a huge weight gain, over 50lbs in 1 year. I had a lot of female problems, abnormal bleeding, periods that lasted up to 9 months without stopping and severe pain. In 1997, I had my first child at the age of 34 after undergoing a D & C and being on provera for 3 months (She was my miracle!) Since then I have not been able to concieve again. I was told it was my weight, 248 lbs. At the age of 37, I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and high triglycerides. At the age of 38, I underwent gastric by pass surgery laparoscopically, which saved my life. I lost 100 lbs and was told that I would become extremely fertile, to not get pregnant for atleast 1 year after the surgery. Now I'm 21/2 years post surgery and I'm still not pregnant, but on a good note, I'm no longer Diabetic either. My heart goes out to you, I know how you feel. I will pray for you.
Good St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before the throne of God, wonder-worker of our day, we call upon you and seek your aid. You know that this marriage has not as yet been blessed with a child and how much [husband’s name] and [wife’s name] desire this gift. Please present these fervent pleas to the Creator of life from whom all parenthood proceeds and beseech Him to bless this couple with a child whom they may raise as His child and heir of heaven. Amen.
May GOD blees you with a child. AMEN.

I too have this terrible disease I understand the torment you go through. I ask dear Goddess to bless this person grant her the strength to keep going and uplift her spirit to see the good in the bad. Blessed Be.

I too have been diagnosed with PCOS and am blessed to have my 6 year old son who is the love and joy of my life. While I long for another child, I understand the heartache this illness brings. I began showing symptoms of pcos when I was 13 and 13 years later I gave birth to my son so miracles do happen. there are many herbal treatments that help relieve pcos and increase fertility . I pray that those women suffering from this illness find themselves happy and healthy and blessed with children as I was. I pray they find the support and care they need and a much better doctor than I had. Positive thinking and prayers can move mountains so don't give up.

I am also a PCOS sufferer...I have had 4 miscarriages in the last 4 yrs. I have also put on the weight in these few years and have also lost 50 pounds in the last 5 months..It's been a hard road to walk but I know the lord is right beside me. He carries me when everything seems hopeless and helps me through it all..Katie-bob My prayers and love to you in this trying time..Let the lords love show you the way and don't give up hope...I'm intrusting my prayers to him and hoping one day he will bless you as well as all the other PCOS sufferer...Dear Lord, Please be with all those who need you right now.. we all wish is To be Blessed with a child!! So just guide us all thru this trying time and hold us with your love! In Gods name, Amen

I truly hope someone sees this posting. I have PCOS and I have travelled a long road with it. I know the pain of it physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I prayed and prayed and finally I heard what God had been trying to tell me all along. I found a licensed herablist and she has me taking a combination of herbs in a tincture that I take three times a day. I too have had to wait to have children, I have experienced the long, constant months of excessive heavy bleeding. My herbalist did for me in 3 months, what no doctor/medication did in 15 years. I am now having a normal cycle, I am ovulating again, and losing weight and my blood sugar is stabalizing! Thank You God and I do hope Katie can see this and find a new approach to her situation.

As with so many other women represented here, I too have PCOS. I have found this to be a great trial, but with all trials we can see past the pain and annoyance etc., and find some positive within the negative if we choose to.

My grandist hope for Katie-Bob is that she may discover her inner strength and not allow herself to fall into a depth of self pity and depression as is so easy to do when feeling that your body is out of control. Obviously she is not alone, may this too bring her an added sense of strength and courage to live a healthy life.
Brightest Blessings to Katie-bob and all others who suffer this syndrom may we all be covered in health, light, and love.

My daughter has this condition and is now into her second pregnancy. This is not hopeless. I will add my prayers to this concern. Elaine

O God : Give Katie strength to live another day; Let her not turn coward its difficulties or prove recreant to its duties; Let her not lose faith in other people; Keep her sweet and sound of heart, in spite of ingratitude, treachery, or meanness; Preserve her from minding little stings or giving them; help her to keep her heart clean, and to live so honestly and fearlessly that no outward failure can dishearten her or take away the joy of conscious integrity; Open wide the eyes of her soul that she may see good in all things. Grant her this day some new vision of thy truth; Inspire her with the spirit of joy and gladness; And make her the cup of strength to suffering souls; In the name of our only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So mote it be.

My Lord, I ask you for Katie-Bob, to be healthy and happy, for her husband too and for every woman that suffers this disease.

O GOD the Eternal Father, We Thank the in the name of Jesus Christ for all the blessings in which thou hast sent to us, We ask the the to bless and heal Katie A. of her illness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Give unto her the miracle she needs to live a full normal life and help her to bring forth Healthy and happy children into this world. if it be thy will Lord I pray this in the name of your only begotten son Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen.

Father in Heaven we trust in you and put our faith in you and I kow that you will be with katie every step that she takes towards to becoming healthy and with your blessings Father may Katie be successful in her attempts to have a baby

Heavenly Father, please watch over Katie-Bob, and the rest of the women out there who suffer from PCOS. You are currently help me in my own struggle with PCOS, and You gave me hope just the other day that this disease will not effect me for the rest of my life. I pray that You help Katie-Bob and all other PCOS sufferers heal, like You are helping me to heal. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN.

Dear lord,
i pray for Katie and her startling illness. I realize that it is by your will that people are hurt of saved, but please, help Katie in her present state right now, help her to realize that you are the one she must always put her faith and trust in.

Father in Heaven,
We pray for Katie/Bob at this time and for ALL who suffer from this horrible illness. please give them the strength to walk in thy ways - we ask for healing according to thy holy will and also for a way forward - that doctors might find a new treatment that will aid in the healing of this condition. We give thanks also for all that we have and acknowledge thy hand in all things, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

Dear Lord, I too pray that you would heal Katie and give her the child she longs to have so much. I also had PCOS and ended up having a hysterectomy due to horrible monthly bleeding but know God could even still give me new parts and a child. I know it sounds crazy but if he could create it once he could do it again. If not, we could adopt if God willed it. Same for you as well- God can recreate your parts, heal you, or you could adopt if you ever wanted to. I pray for your first desire to come true, but if for some reason not, that you would still be able to have your own lovely child.

I too have suffered from this disorder all of my life. It really did not have a name until recent years, but there is hope. Lower carbs....South Beach style...excercise and meds all combined will work wonders. It did for me...and I was blessed with a surprise pregnancy when my only child at that time was 18 years old. Now I have a 21 year old and a three year old. God works in miracles. You just hang in there!

Lord, I pray that Katie overcomes the PCOS caused by insulin resistance. Lord help her to beat this syndrome and all of the health problems associated with it.

In Christ's name I pray, Amen!

Heavenly Father, please help Katie-Bob and all the PCOS sufferers in the world so that they might know the joy of seeing your face in their child's eyes. Please heal them from pain, and let them have joy again under your skies.

I too am a sufferer of PCOS. It is a horrible and crippling disease. I too yearn for a child and cannot have one. I pray that you continue to strive for your dreams and hope that your miracle comes soon. It is a long road and sometimes a hopeless one but He will take care of you. All my love and blessings.

PLEASE HELP HER LORD, AS A PERSON WHO ALSO HAS FERTILTY PROBLEMS I UNDERSTAND HOW IT FEELS TO WANT THE BLESSING I A CHILD DESPERATELY. SO, LORD PLEASE BE WITH HER AND COMFORT LORD. LORD, PLEASE HEAL HER BODY, WE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE THE ALMIGHTY HEALING POWERS. YOU CAUSED THE BLIND TO SEE, RAISED THE DEAD, AND WE KNOW THAT YOU CAN HEAL THIS WOMEN'S BODY LORD. LORD, JUST COMFORT HER AND GUIDE HER TO DO YOUR WILL AND YOUR FATHERS WILL.

Lord I ask you to hear my sister's prayer. Lord you are so good-- help her to lose weight so that she may conceive. My daughter who was 19 at the time of diagnoses also has this problem--the doctor started her on diabetic medication which caused her diseased ovary to go back to normal.I also have had this disease--unknowingly--but I was able to conceive 2 wonderful children--by praying and seeking the Lord.He will give you the desires of your heart if you will surrender all that you are to his will. I am blessed.I know that God will help my daughter and her husband to conceive just like he did for me.Jesus took those stripes for your healing!!!!
