For those with chronic diseases and illnesses
Chronic Diseases Prayer Circle

This circle is for all who suffer with chronic diseases and disorders and in need of prayer and support from others.

There are many who are afflicted with chronic diseases such as lupus, MS, fibromylagia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome and others, or may have children or other family members and friends who suffer with these conditions. The prayer circle can be here for the many ups and downs that come with these illnesses, as well as the tests that most have to go through when having a flare or time of activity in their symptoms. This can be a place to come for prayers when support is needed and also to give thanks and praise to God for remissions and times that we feel well.

Hi Pipit, Cavalier Lady and Dawn,
Welcome to the prayer circle.
Caavalier Lady - I will surely keep your husband in my prayers. It seems like things really have gotten out of hand with all the problems he is experiencing and it is affecting your whole family life. I Know everyone will join me in prayer that God will touch him in a very special way and that the root of all these problems can be found so that your marriage can also be healed. Nothing is impossible with God.
Pipit - I know God will bless you for the love and compassion you have for those with MS and other chronic diseases.
Dawn- We will pray that God will heal you from those migraines. My husband has suffered from those and I know how dibilitating they can be.

God Bless all in our circle and may He send more to join us who are in need of prayer and support.
Love and Prayers, Dolphin

Thank you Dolphin - it warms my heart to know that someone besides me will be saying a prayer.
And as I sit here, practically sitting on top of my little space heater to keep warm today, I would like to add my prayer for the many thousands of homeless people who don't have a warm place to stay today, many of whom suffer from health ailments, and some from mental problems, and all of whom do not have the money to seek help, and no one who cares a flip about them, and pass by them each day, not even thinking about saying a prayer for them. God bless these folk!!!

I have two prayer circles published under my user name (mspdmalta) One is for my husband & family and the second is for my baby. I would like to add a prayer now for all those who suffer from chronic illnesses. Life is so unpredictable. Let's be thankful for all our blessings through the years. And while we are saddened by the misfortunes, we must believe that our lives are in the hands of God and it is he alone who leads us in the direction we are intended to go in. We must trust and love the Lord for he is our salvation. I pray for those whose illnesses reach far beyond what is physical, and hope that they will open their hearts to God and let holiness and spirituality become part of their being. Amen. mspdmalta@aol.com

I have been chronically ill for a long time with Candida and other problems. The Good Lord has always guided me and been by my side. I ask all for prayers of healing and pray that we all find the strength we need so much to keep going. Miracles happen every day and it can happen to us. Keep Hope in your Heart and be thankful for all that you do have and not what you don't have. In order to appreciate the Sunshine we must walk in the Rain.
Blessings and Healing to All. Amen

I have polymyositis, I am in constant pain and also very depressed. This illness is more difficult to bear because my husband is unable to deal with this and has turned to alcohol. His liver is so damaged that he will be in big trouble if he doesn't stop drinking soon. I have so much to deal with in my life, I pray for strength and direction that I will be able to carry on. Please pray for us, and God bless you all.

Pat, Your husband DOES NOT drink because he's unable to deal with your illness! He drinks because he is an alcoholic who probably has a problem dealing with life. Please don't blame yourself. Father GOD, in the precious name of Jesus, we humbly submit our request to YOU. Please give Pat the Peace that passeth all understanding! Let her know that if she keeps her mind and heart stayed on YOU, YOU will do the rest. Father, we know You can Heal, Deliver and set free. We receive this and Thank YOU! In JESUS Name we submit this prayer. Amen

I also have just found this site. Thank you, to whomever has set this up. Yes, I will join you in prayer..The Lord promised that where two or more are gathered, IN HIS NAME He will join us. So... In the Holy Name of the Lord, I too pray for the Power of Love to reach out touching each of us who suffer. May we know that all good is from God. May we support each other by caring enough to pray. There is POWER in prayer.. especially when it is unselfish prayer. Lord, help us to remember, that even when we cannot see the sun because of the clouds, it IS still shining! May we see past the "darkness" of our suffering, and accept the Light of Your Love, healing and Grace.
Blessings for Health, Wealth & Happiness

I just discovered this on our computer. I am so grateful to see Christian
people join together in prayer on the internet. We so often neglect to reach beyond our church walls to reach out to others who are suffering.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year, and it has dramatically
changed my life. I am a mother of three and grandmother of one, my
husband is an over-the road truck driver and gone for three weeks at a
time. I was always very active at home, in my church, and cleaned houses for others (so I could work only when my children were in school).
I have had to give up cleaning houses, causing financial stress. I am
not able to be as active in my church, and some days it is all I can do
to just do what absolutely has to be done. I love the Lord with all my
heart, and am grateful to have a chronic illness rather than a fatal one.
Even though I hurt, I will most likely live to see my daughters finish grow
up, and even my two-year-old grandson, the apple of my eye. Many do
not believe that they will be able to do this. God is so good, and I know
that I will be healed someday, either here or in heaven. He supplies our
every need and even so many of our wants. I will pray for each of the
requests I have read, and I ask for your prayers for me and especially for
my family. This change in my life has affected them every bit as much as
it has affected me. May God richly bless each one of you, and may He
give each of us the strength to live each day as fully as we can, and stay
focused on Him and the power of His love. Thank you, Jesus, for your
love, for saving my soul, for the promise of tomorrow, for my beautiful
family, and for Christian friends and contacts with which to share. Amen

Dear friends in the Prayer Circle,
I have been in the throes of a nasty lupus flare and have only come in and read the prayers requests, but have not posted anything. I keep all of intentions in my prayers, and I ask you to pray for me right now as the medication that controls my disease is having some unpleasant side-effects, but I have to stay on it for another couple of weeks. I see where our little group keeps growing, and I think there is power in prayer and also in just being able to share what is on our minds and hearts with others. I do feel such a good feeling of peace when I come into this area away from so much negativity that is around us all the time, and to know that there are people here praying for one another or for family and friends. I felt I was led to begin this Prayer Circle and it is very encouraging to see where all of you think it was a good idea, and I want to warmly welcome all newcomers who have found us since I last posted here. God Bless all of you.

Cdbaer and Dolphin,
Uor Faith is an inspiration. The manefestation of the Fruit of the Spirit, shine thru your post. My sister has Polyarteritis Nodosa. She hasn't been able to get out of this latest flare-up. The medication threw her into Cushing's, uncontrollable high blood and migraines. Pray for us and we'll pray for you'all. We've been reading John14. May GOD richly Bless us all and continue to keep us.

Ari - please know that our prayers are with you, and Pat, if you come into the Circle, let us know how things are going with you. Alcore - thanks for you loving words, and your sister will surely be in my prayers as I know right now what it is like to try to fight a disease with medication and have other things occur due to that medication. To all our friends - God Bless - keep the prayers going and keep in touch.

With love,
Dolphin

Cdbauer: I just wanted to add that I really feel your burdens, but also the strength you have which you showed in your post. God is with us, even if we don't always feel His presence - but He is there to help, comfort and heal. We may have to bear physical pain, but the most important healing we can have is that which is spiritual - our relationship with God. Even when things get so rough, He will not let us have more to bear than what we can handle. Some of us can handle more, some not as much, but God knows us. Your faith is strong - thank you for sharing it with us here.

With love,
Dolphin

Dear Friends,
I have come back on to ask for even more prayers for something that may seem trivial to those who are suffering from pain and sickness; however, in addition to this nasty lupus flare that I am fighting through, I am also experiencing grief over the death of my pet cat, Charlie, on Saturday, who has been with me for over fourteen years. Because I spend a lot of time in the house, we had become almost inseparable, and he seemed to know when I was feeling especially bad. He was like a best friend to me, and also to my husband, who is also feeling the pain of loss. I pray that the pain can subside and that I can be happy in the wonderful memories of the years we had Charlie and the love and devotion he gave us. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

With love,
Dolphin

I would like prayer for a little girl named Katlin, 2 years old with cancer, she has a websit called katiepoo,I believe that God can heal her, I would also ask prayer for my sibling with Huntington's Disease. I have already lost my father and sister to this and I am believing God for a miracle in both these situations.
