Dear Heavenly Father - I pray for this family, that you will provide for them those things that they need. I pray for this father, that he will know the love of his wife and children and that You have plans for him. Bless this family, keep them safe and guide them each day to abide in Your love through Jesus Christ. Amen

(I have been in the same position as you and I know it's hard. Please keep faith in God as He will provide whatever you need -- not necessarily what you want -- and you will be comforted. I will continue to pray for you.

"My husband? Unemployed?" I asked myself these very same questions back in July. Nothing quite prepares you for the unexpected severance of a big portion of your income. What I can tell you, though, is I experienced many of the same frustrations that you are going through. My husband's faith is rock solid and he is the most kind and gentle person I have ever known...why does he deserve to suffer a layoff? After 4 months of job "drought," a period of time that resulted in a major blow to his self-worth, he was offered his dream job and is once again the man I used to know. "Let go and let God" may seem trite and cliche, but it works. God will watch over you and he has a plan for you and your husband. The minute we let go of the worry and doubts about being provided for, the job offer came in. Your husband is very lucky to have God AND YOU on his side.

Dear PA I want to let u know that I am praying for u and your family! I also want u to know to put All your trust in God and he will make a way. He never failed us and won't start now. It may not come when u want it but he'll be there right on time, He an on time God O yes he is!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prayers are with you and your family. I know you have heard it all but I have to say that many people are in the same situation as your husband and many are in worse. You and your husband have it all. You have each other and give support. Your husband needs to realize that even though it seems like the odds are against him things will work out in the end. Money is always a big factor and worrying about it everyday will only compound the stress you all feel. He has done well. He has made a home for his family, he has love and understanding. He has to tell himself that he will get a job and that his family will survive. He is smart and must be confident. He must also remember that if he does not get the high paying job he needs to support his family he should take whatever he can get to support his family. He cant be too proud. I have cleaned houses for many and saved some money to better myself. Its not the most rewarding job but it put food on the table and paid some bills.Many americans seem to have a chip on their shoulders and not take any jobs of this nature. What I see is many emigrants working these jobs while americans go hungry and become homeless. Pride is not worth that.(even if it not manly)I dont want to preach or sound like I am but what I say is the truth. Your husband is just having down time and he will prevail. After having lost my job two years ago Iam still paying my debts. I cant make them disappear any faster than I make money so I do it one day at a time. This is something that creditors must realize but again they have to survive in the business. It is a doggie world but we as humans are made to be strong. We have to become that in our minds to survive or else we loose the battle of life.
I have faith in your husband and will send a praye everyday. Good luck!

O Heavenly Father there so many of your children out there who are out of jobs or maybe losing their jobs, please help them & rattlerfan in their time of need. Please send wonderful news of a job to them soon. Guide them along the way and bless all of them with Peace Love & Happiness. In Jesus name. Amen.

P.A. I know exactly what you are going through. My husband has been laid off twice within the last 1 1/2. He is a work-aholic, traveled & put his life into his job & was very hurt by getting cut. Keep in mind there are worst things & problemsout in the world. Better opportunities will come our way. Think positive and leave it to god. I will keep you in my prayers.
And everything will work out for the best.

To rattlerfan, hubby and sons: God knows His plan. Trust Him. Remove fear and doubt, and anger will dissipate. Accept Faith Entwined in A Rekindling spirit. I have found in life that He has been with me through all of my life, even when I thought I was truly alone. Like you, I just have been retired from my job as budget cut. I have worked for about 15 years in this company since graduating from college. I was one of the pillars of the company who helped it grow. During my last year, I felt that I was not growing anymore that the reason I am staying is because of the money. It showed in my performance. When my boss told me about it last week, I have mixed feelings, I was sad because the company is like a second family to me, my closest friends are my co-employees, my boss is like a big brother and the owner is my role-model. Happy because I feel if I venture on my own now I would be my own Boss. There is just this nagging feeling Fear of Uncertainty. That may be the reason why many who are jobless become depressed. But you know what, this fear of Uncertainty would make us closer to God. It is this fear that would make us realize that we can not do it alone that we need Him. When we are in a comfortable position, a stable job and fixed salary, we sometimes feel confident that we do not need anything anymore. Uncertainty would brought us to our knees and get help from God. God wants us to need him as much as we want to be needed. Now, I analyze my lifestyle what would I have to give up in order to cope with this current situation. I felt I could live simply with my husband's current income. We have much more material possessions that we ever need. So we have to give up some things. I do not have to keep up with what my neighbors have. Our mission in this world is to be pleasing with God. I should move on. My boss advised me not to look back because I would not be able to cross the river if I would. Its true when I try to look back on what could have happened I feel remorse. So I try to erase those feelings. I hope your husband would feel better. God is just sending a message that He is being needed by your husband.

PA - I just want to let you know that I am proud of the way you have handled things the past 4 months. I know that God is behind you all the way and everyday. Keep it up your day will come. I love you and the boy's love you to.

The love in a family can be strained by trial...My prayers are that the family come out stronger and that this loving father sees his'real strengh'is in being that loving husband and father that with the help of the Holy Trinity he was intended to be...Faith,Hope,and Love...It will be O.K.,just'simply' BELIEVE!
