Prayer Circles

St. Jude, Patron Saint of Desperate and Hopeless Causes, faithful friend of Jesus, I pray that you will have mercy on all of us that are looking for employment. Please bestow us lots of faith, patience, compassion, understanding and love for one another. In these difficult times when so many of us have lost or about to loose our jobs, help us to keep the faith, and find peace within ourselves. St. Jude, May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, gloried, loved and perserved throughout the world, Now and forever. Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us. St. Jude, Worker of Miracles, have mercy on us. St. Jude, Helper of the Hopeless, please pray for us.

While reading the comments and prayers of folks my heart was touched. I too have been out of work.. since July 29, 2001. This job was... I thought the best job of my life. I have since churned through all of the emotions and stages that signify loss.

I prayed to God for guidance before I lost my job because the Holy Spirit allowed me to know that it was coming. (my lay off) However, my prayers went unanswered and I lost my job. I know that many lessons have been taught and learned since July.
For a while I was caught in a pit of pity, depression and low self-esteem. In fact, from July to December I drifted away from my weekly fasting and consistent prayer life. I've finally got myself together and asked God for forgiveness. I have asked for him to redirect the course of my life and direct me to the job/career that he has for me. I was truly touched by the comments of PatTD,Underhill and Hairbrain specifically. I understand and really have lived the struggle of food, home and shelter. Forget where is Carmen San Diego ..where is the mortgage? So.. I want to add the prayer for those whose situtation I know personally and understand all too well.

Father God, I pray that you touch the hearts, minds, spirits and finances of those who are with out employment. I pray that they open their hearts and spirits to receive the lessons and opportunities for growth that you are affording them. I pray that you eliminate the stress that surrounds being with a job. Heavenly father, I pray that you put the words in their mouths that need to be spoken to prospective employers. I pray that you fill all of these job/career seekers with confidence that only comes from knowing that your parent(s) is there to pick you up when you falter or fall. Father, please lift the spirit of insecurity and fear that hovers around the no's that we may receive. Give us comfort in the knowledge that a no only brings us closer to the yes that you feel is best for us. Simply because you know who we are and exactly what we need. Most of all father please do not let any job seeker give up or despair. Because your grace ,peace and blessings are so close and always there. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen

For all of us who are unemployed, let's pray that Divine Wisdom is guiding us to our true place. The jobs we seek, seek us too. Nothing happens before it's time. Divine Love has met and will always meet every need. Read Matthew 7:25

The Lord provides for ALL his children. I affirm Divine Order in all our financial affairs.

I WAS LAID-OFF IN JUNE 2001 .I HAVEN'T FOUND A JOB. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I add my prayers to all those listed here. May we all find our way through these difficult times, with our selfesteem still intact. I have been unemployed for 6 months, after the closing of a company I worked wholeheartedly for, for 6 years. It was devestating to lose the company I was dedicated to, to lose contact with friends I worked with, and to lose that sense of purpose I had. I struggle with self doubt much more now, tho I know I should not. I know in my heart that even tho I am not employed, I am worth just the same as if I were working. I hope all of you come to believe that too, for it is true. You're worth does not come from what you do but who you are.

I know too, the struggle to make ends meet. I lived from paycheck to paycheck and this is a big wake up call for me. I am 2 weeks away from having no more unemployment money coming in. Very scary. I pray every day that God will lead me and guide me, comfort and support me when I am unable to. I pray this for all of you too, who find yourselves without the strength right now. Reach out to others for help as well. No one is alone, even tho it may feel that way.

I HAVE BEEN UNEMPLOYED FOR 8 MONTHS NOW AND I AM CURRENTLY FACING EVICTION. AFTER READING THE ABOVE STATEMENTS AND PRAYERS, I NO LONGER FEEL ALONE. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR INSPIRATION. MAY THE GOOD LORD POUR FORTH HIS BLESSINGS UPON US. MAY WE FIND PEACE AND FINANCIAL STABILITY SOON, IN JESUS' NAME.

After reading the messages left behind by others, I find that my family is not alone right now. My husband too is searching for a new job having been out for several months now. He is so depressed and scared for us right now. He usually has no problem finding work most times people come searching for him. Thank you God for providing those opportunities in the past and please grace us with that again.
We were in the process of building a home and now we are seeing that dream slip through our fingers. I don't know how to tell my daughters this as they were looking so forward to it, it breaks my heart. Please pray for us as I will pray for others. God bless.

I have 2 friends seeking employment and they are facing a really tough time right now. I pray that they seek God's face and not worry about tomorrow because God will take care of the rest. I want them to stay strong in the word and have faith. In Jesus name I pray that they find employment in which they can take care of themselves and their family and stay in the word of God. Amen

I am unemployed and struggling to find the job that God wants me to have. I pray that we all find jobs that use our talents to the utmost, help us grow in our weak areas, pay sufficiently, and surrounds us with those who value us each and every day. Surely this is God's wish for us.

Dear God, I pray for all the unemployeed that they will find first your grace that they will carry and convey to their new associates as I believe that it is your will for all men to have opportunities and to prosper. Dedicated to my husband in need and all who suffer in this venture.

Thank you for creating a forum of faith for us. Thank you for providing for our daily needs. We trust that you will be there for us always as you promised: Lo, I am with you ALWAYS, to the close of the age ( Matt 28:20).

Like many of the folks here who you love and hold dear to your heart, I have been unemployed for a long time. Mine is 13 mos., yet regardless of how long I am without the perfect job you have in store for me, I am grateful for the grace you have given me to deal with it. Thank you for Jeremiah 29:11. It is a promise of a blessed, hope-filled future that I cling to when I am low. You ALWAYS fulfill Your promises, and I know in Your perfect timing we will all be in the career You want us in. Until then, continue to be near to us, to encourage us, to give us peace. I am grateful for my time without a job because it has been time where I have been able to truly focus on You.

My prayer is that you bless every person here with the same grace, patience and peace so that they may rest assured that no matter how long it takes, You WILL provide!!!

I have been unemployed for over a year. I pray that the lord will give me a good job real soon. I have faith in God that he will take care of me in my time of need. I have faith that he will take care of my housing situation with my two dogs. In Jesus name amen.

It has been nearly a year since i had a real job. I pray that i am doing what Jehovah God is telling me to do. With my writings, and my creation of my Artifical Intelligent Product. I pray that I am not being decieved. I thank you for showing me the wealth of the Kingdom in the way to live without nearly enough, and that you continue to provide for those i love.

Father God, I pray right now in the Name of Jesus for each and every person seeking employment right now. I thank You for blessing me with a job that I know that I will love and be committed to. I too was unemployed up until last week, and know what it's like to feel totally afraid, underachieving, etc. I pray that everyone who feels like they are not accomplishing all that they can in You because they are unemployed know that You will never leave them or forsake them. I know that You are their provider, that they who are in You will never be forsaken and their offspring will never beg bread. I thank you for their sure provision, and pray that they will take this time in unemployment to grow spiritually and to increase their faith level. Let them expect great things to happen! And, when they become employed very soon, let them always be reminded that You, not their jobs, are the Source of their provision and all that they need. Also, Lord, please let them be matched with jobs that reflect their calling in life, jobs they will enjoy and be EXCITED to go to every day, not just something to tide them over. I am believing great things! In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Dear Lord,
I have been unemployed for seven months now and my desperation is growing. I feel like now my whole life is in a state of being unproductive. I truly feel like I'm losing it. Every day gets worse and worse. I'm lonely, depressed, lacking energy and feel that you don't hear me in my distress. Please grant your mercy on me heavenly father and provide me with a job and the ability to get my life back on track. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Abba, Abba, I want to thank-you for providing employment opportunities for all those who are seeking employment at this time. I have been unemployed since 9/02 due to a layoff. Help me and the many others to realize that our FAITH is being tested. Let us analyze Job, your FAITHFUL servant. Out of our unemployment situtations let there come Jobs, and a GREAT TESTIMONY, that will glorify your name. Out of the unemployment I want to thank you for strengthen my and the many unemployed person's PRAYER LIFE. Let us learn to be FAITHFUL in our PRAYER life and PRAY without ceasing.
I want to speak to the evil spirits of fear, depression, the lack of energy and stress. All of these spirits are not of God and I rebuke them from all those who are unemployed and being attacked in the name of Jesus. Instead of worring, Pray without ceasing. I want to let all those who are struggling with being attacked by those spirits, know that you have to speak (and I mean speak OUT LOUD) to those spirits, because they are trying to kill you. Let those spirits KNOW that you KNOW that they have lost the battle for your soul so they may as well take their afflictions on to someone else because you know that the battle was won on the Cross at calvary. You must understand that we are living in the last days and spiritual wickness, & high principalities are roaming the earth trying to devour ANY and EVERYONE who does not stand up to them. There is one other point to keep in mind and that is GOD DOES NOT PUNCH A TIME CLOCK ......BUT HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME. Therefore tell those spirits God has won the battle and you do not have to fight them. Quote the WORD on them, the WORD of God is like a sword. Suite up for battle in the name of Jesus.
EMPLOYMENT to all those who fight the GOOD fight of FAITH in Jesus name, AMEN.

My husband has been layed off for over 8 months and unemployment is running out and still no job. My faith is failing because I don't understand what we did wrong to go through this. We will be homeless in a few months if he doesn't get a job soon. Please pray for us for employment and for our faith. Our children have always been dependent on us to help them and now we can't help them and there is no one to help us but the Lord.
Lord,
Please give your divine mercy on all of us in need and bless us with jobs so that we can keep a roof over our heads and take care of our children. Amen

What a wonderful blessing this prayer circle has been for me. To know that there are others going through the same difficult situation of being unemployed and that we can all reach out and pray for one another. My husband left his job 18 months ago to start a nonprofit organization that would provided treatment services and sober living housing for people with alcohol and a drug addiction problems. He really felt that God was calling him to do this and the sad thing has been that because of the poor ecomony and all the cuts in social service programs plus client who did not honor their committiment to pay rent or services that organization couldn't afford any staff. So not only did my husband lose a job but we also investing over $50,000 of our own money and now he has been looking for a job for about 8 months. We are looking at having to move out of the area that we live and to sell our home because of this. BUT my husband and myself feel that this has been one of the most incredible times of growth for each of us in our walk with God and that through all of this we will see God bring beauty from the ashes of this fire in our lives right now. We will being praying for all of you too!
Dear God, Thank you for all the blessing that we do have that maybe we can't even see right now. Help us open our eyes to them and to always remember that you love us and that you will bring forth beauty from the ashes of our burned and broken lifes. Please provide us with our daily needs and help us love one another as Christ loves us. Amen

I PRAY NOW FOR MYSELF, MY FRIENDS, AND MY FAMILY AND ALL THOSE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT. I CALL ON YOU OH DEAR WONDERFUL ONE TO BLESS "US" WITH GOOD JOBS. I PRAY FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN UP. PLEASE DON'T. THE LORD KNOES WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF. THE RIGHT JOB IS SITTING RIGHT THERE WAITING FOR YOU IF ONLY YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS RIGHTEOUS AND LOVING. PLEASE DEAR GOD TO WHOM EVER THIS REACHES, PLEASE BLESS THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH ALL THE RICHES THAT ARE PROMISED, IF ONLY WE BELIEVE.

Heavenly Father, I don't deserve even having you listen to me, let alone grant my request. But your Son Jesus said we could ask for what we needed in His name, and that you would grant it. I claim Jesus's promise as I ask.

I would like to ask you to please help all the unemployed people find work. There are so many who have lost their jobs and they need help. I ask in Jesus's precious name. Amen.
