American Muslims
Pray for our protection!

In lieu of the recent attacks, I fear retaliation against the Islamic community in the United States. Please pray for our protection and that Allah will keep us safe.

May the long time sun shine upon us all Love surround us and the pure love within us guide our way on. My prayer is that the souls who perished were swept up into Heaven, that the broken hearted will be comforted and healing will begin, that rescuers and those they help will find new friendships and even love, and that innocent Arab people everywhere will not be persecuted. Only 15% of Muslims are Arab and only a small fraction of Muslims have chosen to pervert their own faith with such evil hatred. May God have mercy on us all...Blessed be..Katie

Sweet Holy Spirit..Have mercy on those young boys seen waving the Palestinian flag and cheering in Nablus and Ramallah when the tragedy struck. Bless them with circumstances in their young lives that will turn them from the path of terrorism and towards goodness and futures that can benefit their own people and this Earth, our fragile island home. Blessed be.

9/15/2001 22:19

My prayer is for all people, that we may unite together despite our differences. I pray that people will not take out their anger on others based on their culture and religion. These recent horrible acts of hate have come from a group of individuals set on hurting Americans. May they not succeed in turning fellow Americans against each other. I pray that we may keep our focus on who is truly to blame and not generalize our anger to those who share the same pigmentation in their skin, or practice a religion of the same name. For they are not the same. We are all one. May we stand together in this time of grieving. Together may we find a way to heal.

9/15/2001 22:56

God, protect us all from hatred. Help us to turn toward You and not away. Help us to remember Your command: Love one another as I have loved you.

9/15/2001 23:07

Dear Lord, help us to see the path which leads to healing, not hatred. Help us to have the courage to protect all of your people. Help us to teach our children that hatred is not your way.

9/16/2001 01:29

Our father whom art in Heaven hollowed be YOUR name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespasses against us, and lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil...Amen.

Sweet Father in Heaven...please keep all our Arab - and Muslim brothers and sisters safe from evil and harm during this horrible time in America. I know -- as you know -- that neither is guilty -- just because the murderers in the crimes of the New York Towers and the Pentagon may have been one or both of these! The only ones guilty are the trespassers themselves, and they surely must have been mentally ill to do such horrible deeds... So please Father forgive them also! One more request Father....? Please whisper in the ears of the misguided that want to hurt or torture any of my brothers & sisters here on earth! THANK YOU FATHER - FOR ALWAYS TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY!!! I LOVE YOU!

9/16/2001 03:18

Divine Creator, help all your children turn to you, to peace, and to justice. Help us to reject the hatred that caused this tragedy. Comfort angry, scared, grieving Americans and help them to see that our Muslim countrymen and women are just as heartbroken as all of us, perhaps even more so...Amen.

9/16/2001 04:42

Most Gracious Compassionate Creator,
Please hear our prayers for unity and understanding. Help us to realize that the acts of the perpetrators of Tuesday's horrifying events in no way reflect the beliefs of true followers of Islam.
Please grant all of us open hearts, minds and spirits. Please protect our Arab and Muslim brothers and sisters from harm and hatred. And please give all non-Muslims the courage to speak out against anti-Islamic sentiments or actions, and to stand up to those who use "patriotism" as an excuse to vent their bigotry and hatred.
Please permeate our souls with Your most gracious love, light and compassion so that we can help and support one another during this terrible time.
Many thanks for the blessings of this life...Amen.

9/16/2001 11:01

We are each and all sisters and brothers and I offer my prayers for your safety, which is one of the four freedoms America boasts. I offer my prayers for your protection so that you may perpetuate your beliefs and ways of life.

9/16/2001 12:24

May Our Loving Lord protect our brothers and sisters of the Moslem faith, may He open the eyes and hearts of those who are acting out of hatred, and may Our Heavenly Father protect the innocent people who are being attacked senselessly for their faith and beliefs. May God bless us all in this time, for we are all His children.

9/16/2001 13:23

Let all who would attack or slander our Arab-American and Muslim brothers and sisters, and all others who might be falsely blamed for the attacks in New York and Washington, DC remember this bit of scripture:
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."
Matthew 7:1-5
And please Father, let all those who filled with anger be filled with Your love instead.

9/16/2001 13:54

Oh, merciful who died for all mankind, please cover our Muslim brothers with your protection. Father, do not let innocents suffer the consequences of the evil people who intend to destroy the love and the hope of the humanity. Pray for us and prepare us for your comming...Teach us to be tolerant and to love everyone, in your name...AMEN

9/16/2001 15:06

May this Nation come to our collective right mind before any more damage is done to the goodwill of the Islamic nation at large. We know in our hearts that these terrorists are not Fundalmental Mulsim, may our minds also know it soon.

Love in the Creator,

Lady Kara

Please, God, may only those responsible for the attacks come under your punishment. Please do not let us go to war against a single civilian. And let our hearts be full of light that we do not blame anyone for the attack but the perpetrators. Keep all Muslim Americans safe, and all those of Arabic descent. Let the world unite in peace. Thank you God.

9/16/2001 17:35

God, Please protect our nation. Protect all of us, regardless of faith or race. Please bring peace to the hearts of those who want to harm others. Peace to the terrorists hearts, and the hearts of those who want to do harm to others "in thy name."
Thanks to Thee for those who have done so much to bring our country together.

9/16/2001 18:16

Holy Father, please be with Muslim families in the US and the world who are in fear for their lives. Lord, open the hearts and minds of those who would lash out at Islamic peoples and allow them to see the error of their ways; turn their eyes from fear and hatred, do not allow them to visit the same blind vengence on their fellow men that was visited upon our brothers and sisters in New York. We are all your children, Lord; write the virtues of peace, compassion and understanding in our hearts, and grant us each strength to cope with what we must all bear in the days to come. In Jesus' name, amen.

9/16/2001 18:30

Great Source from whom all life is derived, who is with us and part of us and acts through us, guide us toward peace for all our relations. Be present with American Muslims especially, and strengthen those of us who are not Muslim to be loving and gracious toward them, members of our family. May we inhale love, and exhale fear.

9/16/2001 20:31

Lord, grant us your wisdom in this time, and may we as Christians come to know and embrace our fellow man. May we not seek judgement against the innocent, for they are our brothers and sisters, regardless of their faith. For love is the only answer to the question of how must we react to this tragedy. Let us love one another, for we are all in your image. Amen

9/16/2001 20:49

Lady of Mercy, Mary Magdalene, I ask you to watch over our Muslim brothers and sisters. Keep them safe, as they are innocent in this matter. Do not allow hatred to spread past a few insolent terrorists into our unified population. Amen.

9/16/2001 23:41

I know that most Muslims are good, decent, tolerant people. Let they be in good keeping, and come to no harm.

9/17/2001 00:47

In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful. Please protect us all. Not just Muslims, but all people. This war will not only affect us. This is against us all. Oh lord I pray that you would show these people in so called "power" that there is none more powerful than you. Oh Allah I pray that this world is not destroyed. I pray that you would help me find peace in all of this, so that I may continue to be a mother to my children. Oh Allah I pray that I see my babies grow up. Please forgive our arrogance. Please be with us in this very frightening time. Please surround us in peace ad divine protection. Touch President Bush and show him tht he will be at fault for killing innocent people Americans and Afghanis alike. Please father. Please be with us. Let your children come together and study war no more.

9/17/2001 00:59

Oh Allah, Thank you for all the people that understand that the sins of a few, are not the sins of all. Let not innocent people suffer. I am afraid of losing my life. I am afraid of watching what is becoming of this world. I cannot eat. I cannot sleep. My husband is a Chicago firefighter who wants to go to New York to help his fellow brothers and sisters. I am afraid that if he goes, I may never see him again. I seek refuge with Allah from satan the accursed. I am so filled with fear that I considered ending my life. But I want to see paradise and to see my baby daughter again. Oh Allah, thank you for your mercy and your grace. Bless all those that feel alone. Touch them. Let us not go to war.
