My mom has cancer

My mother has lung cancer which has spread to her brain, lymph system and possibly her breast. She is tired, weak and not hungry. We need your prayers that her treatment will work and she will soon feel better.

For the past 1.5 years, my mother has been recuperating from heart bypass surgery. Last November, she began saying that she didn't feel well. Her doctors continued to assure her that nothing was wrong and her heart was like brand new. Her doctors wouldn't even see her in person, considering the great results of her stress test. It's July now and my mom is being treated for adenocarcinoma of the lung that has travelled to her brain,lymph system and possibly her breast. Radiation on her brain has left her weak, tired,without an appetite and with a strained voice. We're hoping she has the strength for chemo which began last week. We're also hoping she'll regain her appetite in order to help her body stay strong during chemo. Please pray for her.

Dear Lord, your capabilities are so overwhelming and so awesome. Dear Lord, you saved me from lung cancer and a perforated bowel and you brought me into your circle of children; so I would say that you saved my life three times in the last three years. I know the power of prayer is very, very strong and I pray this family has peace and that the mother has peace and tranquility and little pain or discomfort. I pray that she regains her appetite or that they will feed her intravenously to keep up her strength (they fed me that way). To the mother and daughter or son, I just want to say God can do anything. Just keep praying to Him and put all your faith and trust in Him. Talk to your Mom and make sure she does the same thing. God has a wonderful plan for each and every one of us, including you and your Mom. We have to learn patience, because He will fulfill it in His own time. Don't ever give up and remember God loves all of you, all of us, and He will do what is best for each of us. Keep loving Him and keep praying and I will keep praying for you.
