Isa, as always I appreciate your prayers. Is "You still have the Victory, walk by Faith and not by sight" a bible quote? I really understood it. Thank you and God bless for checking this board all the time. I pray that my husband understand's God's plan for us. It is a good one if he choses to accept.

9/11/2008 12:45

hope3343-2 Corinthians 5:7 is the Faith verse I am referring to. Hebrews Chapter 11 would be an encouraging chapter to read about Faith also. The old song Victory in Jesus, because that is the only place our Victory does come from. 1John 5:4. I will continue to pray for your marriage. In Jesus Name. Amen

9/11/2008 18:42

just checking in..hope everyone is having a better day...I have been getting anonymous phone calls for the last 2 days from guys "looking" for my husband bacause he told them he was coming home. A friend went to check on him and she said she didn't know where he was. Just praying for his safety and for him to see thru her for the bad that she really is

9/11/2008 19:08

rcomp22992-I pray for your family's protection in this situation. I pray Psalm 91 over your family. I bind the enemy trying to come against your marriage. I loose the blood of Jesus over your spirit, soul, and body. May your husband be delivered from the snares of the devil. May you be strengthen in your physical body also. In Jesus Name. Amen

9/11/2008 19:10

I'm back...and he's back in of the ninth

9/11/2008 22:18

rcomp22992-I pray the Lord will let your husband see how the devil has tricked him into this situation. May the Lord give you Peace that passes all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus Name. Amen

9/11/2008 23:23

rcomp, sometimes we have to reach rock bottom before we can raise our selves up. I pray that while he is in jail that he reaches out to God.

9/12/2008 09:53

I know God DID answer my prayers, he is away from her and drugs and more than likely (he won't be released until Oct. 16) will think long and hard about decision making and how and who will stand by you. He's spent more time in jail since he's been with her than in his ENTIRE life and he stil has another sentencing coming up for her 'alleged" domestic violence on Oct. 7. At least I know he won't be filing for divorce anytime soon. Just trying to inject some humor here, it's not funny, but at least now I know he is SAFE. Thank you Jesus , Mary, and most importantly God himself.

9/12/2008 11:22

rcomp22992-God is a Good God, He loves your husband, because he said that For God so Loved the World, that He Gave His ONLY begotten Son, that Whosoever believe in Him should not Perish but have everlasting Life.(John 3:16) Your husband is blessed to have you to stand in the gap for him with prayers. May you be led by the Holy Spirit in your decisions. Stay encouraged in the Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen

Isa.....I truly believe, I hold the Lord and the Holy Spirit deep in my soul. Jami had called last week to say he was trying to come home, but she was threatening to have him thrown back in jail if he tried to do so. Mind you, this is a woman who says she is "recently saved" and who desires nothing more than to "save" my husband.
I told Jami that I was praying constantly, and he cut me off and said , "I know honey, I can feel it". Satan has a hand in this, I'm sure. I start and end each day with thanks, and the knowledge deep in my soul that the Devil will NOT defeat me. MY daughter wanted dinner early the other day, and when I sighed she asked if I was mad that I had a hungry daughter, I told her no I was thankful I had a daughter healthy enough to be hungry, and the Lord has provided me with the ability to put food on the table. It's hard sometimes because I can't work (fractured vertebrae, arthritis) and my 28 year old son is taking over the reigns to provide. I named him Matthew David, it was a good choice. Add him in your prayers, because he is doing a fine job of putting his life on hold to care for his mom and little sister and giving up alot of things most grownmen wouldn't give up for ther families. Thanks for all your prayers.

HOPE3343~In response to what you posted on 9/5/08: You're welcome for the prayers. I was led to this website in 2005 after my husband left me for another woman. I was hurting, and sought any resource available in order to ease that hurt. When I 'stumbled' upon this website, I saw how many others were hurting just as bad, if not worse, as I was. I then began praying for other people. In the process, God healed my broken heart. I'm not saying this will work for you, but this is how He chose to heal my heart. He may choose to heal your heart by you doing something different (visiting the elderly, feeding the homeless, going to visit those who in the hospital, etc.).

Long story, short...God healed and restored my marriage eight months after my husband left me. My husband is now saved and is on fire for the Lord! Praise God. But just because everything is going 'well', I still pray for God's protection over our marriage and I plead the blood of Jesus over us as individuals and over our marriage daily. I don't take it for granted anymore.

I'm not sure if I've told you this or not, but forgive me if I'm repeating myself...but I send out inspirational devotions and accept prayer requests. If you would like the free devotions, just send me an email requesting them. Otherwise, feel free to email me whenever you need prayer, of if you just want to talk. God bless you!

9/12/2008 12:11

rcomp, God hates divorce, keep praying and take time for yourself. If you are a strong mother it will help your children through this time.
My husband is falling apart. Moving out 10/1, and now drinking and driving and coming home crying. I told him that I pray for him everyday to find peace within himself. Satan is wrapped around him, and hopefully he can fight the good fight and release himself. Pray for our family, pray for reconcillation of my marriage. I take a stand for my marriage and will continue to work it even when I stand alone. But I am never alone, God is carrying me now.

NEEDGODWINKS~In response to your posting on 9/6/08: I know it's easier said than done, because I've been there...but you must take your eyes off of your circumstances. Keep your eyes on the Lord. The more you focus on how 'good' their life is, and how blessed they are, you are going to miss what it is that God wants to do in and through you. You need to be still before the Lord, so you can hear what it is that He is saying. But you won't be able to hear him, if your thought life is bombarded with thoughts of their lives together. Your God is a big God, who can do big things. There is no limit to what He can accomplish. But things will happen in due season (God's timing). Keep standing on the Word of God and the promises therein. Call those things that are not as though they were.

Stop talking to God about your problems (He already knows). Instead, start talking to your problems about your God. You have the victory over this situation already through Christ Jesus.

God bless you...praying for and with you always.

RCOMP22992~In response to your posting on 9/7/08: First, you are NOT losing your mind. Don't make confessions like that over yourself. There is a lot of power in the words that you speak.

Father God, I thank You for bringing resolve to this situation. I thank You that whatever Satan meant for harm, You will turn around for their good, so You can be glorified.

Lord, may her husband be convicted of his wrongdoings. May he see things much clearer now that he's in jail. I thank You for his salvation and deliverance.

Lord, I ask that You keep Rene strong. Give her increased comfort, peace, patience and understanding. I thank You that this marriage IS healed and restored by the POWER of Your Holy Spirit. May Your Will be done. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

9/12/2008 12:39

rcomp22992-I will pray for Matthew David to be strong in the Lord and the Power of His Might. Lord give him strenghth in the inner most part of his being. Lord may he know that you are with him and the family. He is so gracious to help his Mother at this time in her life as a young man. He is doing the word of God, not just hearing. May he be blesed in every area of his life. He will be an example to other young people. In Jesus Name. Amen

BDOWELL~In response to your posting on 9/7/08: Father God, I thank You for blessing and protecting this marriage from the evil one. I thank You that this marriage consists of: love, joy, peace, fidelity, trust, honesty, respect, good communication, passion, romance, patience, forgiveness and anything else You want it to consist of. I thank You that this marriage IS healed and that both of them will put forth the effort it takes in whatever area that needs work, in order to make this marriage prosper. I plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage, and I ask that You strengthen them in the areas where they are weak. May Your Will be done. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

JAQKMQ~In response to your posting on 9/10/08: I know that you're still hurting from your husband's affair. If I allow my mind to go there and reflect on the fact that my husband had an affair several years will. We are to take these thougths captive and make them obedient to the Lord. If not, they will just fester, and before we know it, bitterness will take root.

Words are powerful. We sometimes say things that we don't mean to say. An apology can only do so much, though. Once they leave our mouths, we can't take them back. So, be careful what you say. Words can either edify or tear down.

I didn't say this was easy to do--especially since you still need to be healed emotionally. But it can be done. It's a process, but one you don't have to endure alone. God is with you every step of the way. Just continue to ask Him for help in this area. Your marriage will prosper because of it. Many blessings to you.

RCOMP22992~In response to your posting on 9/12/08: I'm glad that your husband is away from her and from the drugs (which I pray that he won't be able to access while in jail). May the Lord do His mighty work in him while he is isolated from her and those surroundings. I pray for his protection and for his heart to be turned from a heart of stone, to a heart of flesh, so the Lord can mold it. Stay strong. Everything is going to be alright.

Isa your scripture brought tears to my eyes. (Leviticus). thank you
Lmbook - I needed to hear your inspirational words today about 8 months. I am such an inpatient person and trying to work so hard on this, that I need to be on God's time not mine. I will send you an e-mail for the prayer you want to send and daily devotions. I appreciate all that pray for my marriage. These past 5 weeks have been such an upheaval, but it has brought me back to the open arms of God and I need to keep faith that his words will reach my husband. He is in such pain and thinks that the only relief is by leaving me but not realizing his whole life is in a turmoil. To all the others stay strong. Stand for your marriage. I have made this commitment for myself and my family. They deserve to know that we don't give up on what we have bound under God's blessing of marriage.
