For those with chronic diseases and illnesses
Chronic Diseases Prayer Circle

This circle is for all who suffer with chronic diseases and disorders and in need of prayer and support from others.

There are many who are afflicted with chronic diseases such as lupus, MS, fibromylagia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome and others, or may have children or other family members and friends who suffer with these conditions. The prayer circle can be here for the many ups and downs that come with these illnesses, as well as the tests that most have to go through when having a flare or time of activity in their symptoms. This can be a place to come for prayers when support is needed and also to give thanks and praise to God for remissions and times that we feel well.

Please pray with me that my daughter has not got Hepatitis C. And also, that the steriod injections I am to receive in my spine will relieve the pain of my spinal stenosis enough that I can walk without my walker. Also that my mother who have not been able to have a wound on her foot heel for over a year will finally see a good result from the skin graft that she is having. I know that I will be sedated when the steriods are injected into my spine but usually lidocaine is given as well because of the pain/soreness on the steriod itself to releieve pain from to injection themselves until they can work on the infflamation of the disks/nerves,etc. I am allergic to lidicaine> as well as all other local. And I am afraid. If the doctors would just not have to tell you everything that could go wrong.

I am delighted to find another circle of prayers to add mine to. I believe prayer circles are much like smoke signals that not only direct people here on earth but continue in ever tighting circles until they reach the nostrils of God and become, as the bible says, a sweet smelling savor. I thank God for the gift of my husband. I have chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromialgia, and rhem. arthritis. Two weeks ago my husband had a five-bypass surgery. I never realized how much I depended on him until I had to be the strong one. I pray for all of you with loved ones that support you. Remember to give them flowers frequently. They carry a heavy load just loving us with diseases. And for those without support, that is what this is all about isn't it?

I would like you to join in prayer with me for all those who struggle daily with invisible disabilities. By that I mean those afflicted with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, depressive illnesses and other afflictions. And perhaps say a little prayer for me..I am struggling with fibromyagia and would like to be able to go back to full time employment.

My husband had his test yesterday. Some biopsies were made of different places inside his stomach and esophus. I didn't spell that right but hopefully you can understand what I mean. Now we wait again. The stress sure gets to me. Everytime the weather changes I suffer with the pain from fibromyalgia, arthritis and other illnesses.

This is my prayer Lord that You will bless all of the people who suffer from chronic pain whether from physical, emotional, or mentally. Lord help me be strong and able to help my husband as he goes through. Thank you.

Dear mrsaagus and rmjinthewoods,
I know the agony of watching loving people who live life for others, afflicted by disease and illness they never deserved. But it is our service to these wonderful people that makes their lives more bearable. I pray especially for strength for you; to see you to brighter tomorrows and easier todays.

Though I don't want to see anyone suffer it is comforting to know others are in situations similar to mine. I hv. fibromyalgia, poss. chronic fatigue syndrome, depression & a very disfunctional family. Sometimes, I feel like it's not really worth all this pain, but I press on. Every day has its frustrations, but also at least 1 positive moment which I often struggle to find. I love my family (human & pets), but sometimes I'd just like to run away & find a new life! Just get away from all the hassles. I pray for the strength & concentration to keep going & make it through each day.
Thank you to all who read this & who may hold a positive thought for me. I will hold a positive thought for you, also.

There are times when I wish I had 2 wings to fly above my circumstances, situations and problems. If that "vacation" is not available, you have to go away to HIM in Prayer. He will renew your strength. Pslam 91 speaks of "dwelling in the secret place".
Father, Thank You for the Secret Place. Thank You for the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter. Thank You for the opportunity, afforded by the redemptive work on the Cross, that we may come boldly to Your Throne of Grace. We Thank You that in the Holy of Holies, in our Garden of Prayer, we can find Peace, Joy, renewed Strength and Power! Thank You, Holy Spirit, for Revival. Lord, we love You and we Praise You. Bless Your people now, In Jesus Name. Amen

Father God, I thank you for all of the blessings and prayers answered. You know the needs of your children. Bless those who are suffering from chronic diseases. Strengthen their bodies, minds and most importantly faith in you. You are a good God. You have brought many through difficult times. I thank you for the miracles you are working right now. Go into bodies....release the diseases, heal every cell. I pray that you will continue to encourage your saints and that relief will be on the way.

I am requesting prayer for both my wife and myself. She has interstitional pulmonary fibrosis, fibromyalgia, diabetis and a lesion on the left side of her brain. She is in terrible pain all of the time.
The only thing that the earthly doctors can do is ease the pain and give her steroids.
I have diabetis , osteroiarthritis, and have just been diagnosed with pharengel neuralgia, affecting the right side of my face and ear and have a chronic cough. I also am in much pain.
We have been married for 54 years ( may 11, 2001.) We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and believe He can heal. Oct 31,1999 He healed me of heart trouble.
I enter into prayer with all who have chronic disease and say that God promised that wherever 2 or 3 are gathered together in MY Name ( Jesus Christ) there I will be also.
I call on the name of Jesus, Be Ye healed. Amen

My grandfather's suffering at the hands of leukemia and kidney failure finally ended this past December, and now he is walking with the Lord. What brought me to this site is the fact that my mother suffers from chronic MS and chronic fatigue syndrome, and my mother in law suffers from chronic RSD syndrome. All 3 are very painful diseases, and I would like to offer my prayers for their strength and faith....I pray that they both keep the ability to keep those attributes. I pray, dear God, to ease their suffering, and to help them cope. In your name I pray, AMEN

Hi my friends in prayer, sorry I have been away a while, I guess u could say I really wasn't in the right frame of mind, Im back getting treatment, but I know my heavenly Father is always there for me, I just would like everyone who reads this to say an extra prayer for two people I meet today at the cancer center, one name is Joan Weist, and the other Bonnie, they both need a lot of prayers more for the fears they are having right now than the disease itself, cause once they realize that God is there to take it everything will do a double change, I know thats what happen to me. My illness brought me so close to my Lord and Savior, I always knew he was with me but took "HIM" for granted.Instead of acknowledging in the highest way possible by prayer and scriptures and mass, and living up to the kind of person he wants me and all of us to be, It took me so much pain to find that but I have truly gained the greatest giftThat is having GODso deep in my Heart, We must continue to pray for all the other people in this world who are sick mentally physcially and the hungry and poor ,We must keep telling everyday at least one person how important it is to have OUR LORD AND SAVIOR in our lives cause he wants us so badly to recogize just what he did for all to know how merciful and giving "HE IS"OUR MOST HEAVENLY FATHER

My Prayer For You Today

May The Hands Of God Touch All That Are In Need.

Lord Grant me the Senerity the accept the things I can not change. The courage to change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference.

~ Let Go ~ Let God ~

Keep believing in yourself.

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be. That's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down, but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself. There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are. So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be. Because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you. Keep Believing in Yourself. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
