Mother/Father/Everything God I ask in Jesus name the name Emmanuel that you given geniune peace to Tommy's family. I pray that you strengthen them and heal them. Make to understand that Tommy is Home and all is well with him. Creator I ask for strength and courage in my own stuggle with alcoholism. I can't seem to win the battle. I don't beleive I was directed to this sight by accident so I pray that this is the day I can walk away from this particular demon. Please pray for me. Jane. Amen

Father God, I ask that you continue healing my son of this addiction. I have complete faith that his healing will come about - in your time. Please forgive me when I fail to understand and accept what must happen for his healing through You. I confess my impatience and my fear and ask you to help me stay stong. Lord, I ask your mercy on this family - we are all affected by his weakness and his disease. Thank you for all the many blessings we experience daily. Amen

My thoughts, heart, and prayers are with this family who lost a son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson (Tommy). I know this story all too well.

My brother all most died because of his addiction. He has betrated family and friends for it. This drug is pure evil and it's amazing how it can tear a family apart. My brother was a herion addict for a many years and was in and out of programs. My family has stuck with him through thick and thin and never once turned him away. He has lied, stolen and cheated all of us. We love him dearly still. He is a very kind hearted person and would do anything for you and give you the shirt off his back. (he really would) This demon that he fights takes such control. I think my brother has been clean for about a year. He ended up getting his girl friend pregnant, she is also a user. She stop using heroin when she found out she was pregant but had to go on to using methadone as if she had stopped cold turkey she would have killed the baby inside. She was being closey monitored and now, on 7/23/02 she and my brother had a beautiful baby boy. (he is addicted) He remains in the hospital still. The mother is okay and she and my brother are living with my parents. (god bless my parents) I can't help sometimes but to feel hatred for my brother and his girl friend as they have put our family through so much and that a poor innocent little baby, who hasn't even begun his life yet lies addicted in a hospital. I want to cry and scream. I am on this site today to please ask for prayers not only for my mother, father, sister and even my brother and his girl friend but for this sweet beautiful baby. Please pray they all get through this and clean up their act for the babys sake. I send out all my prayers to all families who suffer with this demon. A very heavy cross to carry. I believe in god, the father almighty......I really do.

Dear heavenly father. I would just like to ask you to please give Tommy's family strength in this time of grievance. Surround them with a sense of calm and give them the assurance that he is no longer suffering, he is no longer in his addiction. I pray that Tommy is in heaven smiling down on his family letting them know that he is no longer in pain. Lord I would also like to pray for all other family members who are dealing with substance abuse users. I would like to pray that they remain strong and that you give them comfort. I would like to ask that you cleanse my mother from the disease of her addiction I am 21 and she has been in her addiction my whole life, I'm tired Lord I want my mother back, but I give all things to you and I know that all things work for the good according to your will. I will have faith and please bless me with patience, Lord I love you and every other person on this site. I thank you for this site lord. In Jesus name Amen

Dear Father,
Please help Tommy's family find comfort. Addiction is a horrible disease. My daughter and son-in-law are both heroin addicts and fight everday to remain clean and sober, mostly without success. I pray that you will guide them to find the resources to aid in their recovery and for all of those suffering from the terrible disease of addiction. Please do not let temptation ruin their lives.

oh father god,I just pray for these people my god, that have lost their love one, I also pray lord, for all those familys that are going through a difficult time lord, having someone they know and love addicted, lord I pray for my own loved ones that are being over powered by addiction, lord be there for them, show them my god that you are the way out, touch them, bless them lord, without you we are nothing I thankyou mygod, and pray these words in your precious name amen

Please Pray to have the bondage of addiction be lifted from my friend s.z. he is in need of help to get off the drugs and alcohol. Thank-you

Dear God, I don't know why my daughter is stricken with this compulsion to drink in such a self-destructive manner, but I pray that you remove this disease of alcoholism from her before she ruins her life and the lives of those around her. Please wrap her in the shelter of your loving arms and take away the fears and the angers and bring her back to you. Amen

Dear Tom,

I need your help. It is not I that suffers as much as the Edge, but it hurts just as much to see Edge's pain. Never have I seen such pain and yet so much love at the same time. Please let guide Edge through the coming days so that no matter what the decision, happiness will follow. I may be broken hearted, but I know in my heart you will comfort me. On another note, I have about a month to go to mark the anniversary of 37 friends that perished at the hands of insanity on the 11th of September. I will not work that day, and metally probably not the whole week, but I am counting on you and them to carry me through this horrid "anniversary." You are the only one, besides you side-kick "Edge" that could possibly imagine the tremendous pain that day caused my friends, family, and myself. You went to God's Kingdom first, please show them the way, let them know we love our heroes, and we shall all meet again in the loving arms of our Creator...in Jesus Christ, Our Lord...Amen

"To The Glenn Family and Others Who Will Listen & Have A Heart"...You can call me "LuLu", I'm a 39 yr. old Wife, Mother, and New Grandmother and I "AM" an addict. My drug of choice is methamphetamine (speed) and weed. My husband & I quit and were "Clean" for 5 yrs. after doing drugs and alcohol for 10 yrs. But now it seems we have "Backslidden" into this dark & ugly world again after the death of my Mother March 23rd,2001. I know that it was no excuse to return to the dope, but it helped me not to "Feel", if that makes sense to any of you. My Husband, kids, & I had all become a close family again and had a close relationship with our Father God and now I feel as if we've lost it and God has abandoned us. This 2nd time it seems to be even "Harder" than the first time yet, we know that it's only the fear that keeps us from advancing on into our relationship, again with the Lord..."PLEASE" Pray for my family & I that we may again become "Strong" in our fight against our addiction! So that then we again may become "Warriors" willing to fight and go to battle against the very evil that had us bound! Dear Lord, Please hear my prayers today. First, I would like to give Thanks for blessing me with such a truly amazing friend. A friend who has always been at my side. A friend who has walked this path of grief at my side.(No Matter how difficult, at times) A friend who would never allow me to forget all of the Great Times that we shared with Tommy. I am asking the same for her today. Please protect and guide her through this dificult time. Help her to focus on all the wonderful days she shared with her friends. Bless all of those who lost a loved one on September 11th. So many people are in tremendous pain. Give these people strength to get through the "anniversary" of this tragedy. Let them know that they are not alone. Let them know that thier loved ones are Heroes and are now in a better place. Remind them that those loved ones are with them. Watching over and protecting those left behind. Give them comfort in the knowledge that they will be reunited. Amen.

Bono, You are such a beautiful, good hearted and strong person. Have Faith that your friends are awaiting you on Rainbow Bridge. I know your concerns for the families of those you lost. Continue to pray for them. I will also. I'll be at your side in New York offering my prayers and love for all those who are grieving. As well as offering my praise and thanks to the Angels who saved so many lives.. In The Name Of Love.

Please bless Tommy's family and all families suffering from the disease of addiction.
Bless my husband who is in the midst of treatment for his addiction.
Strengthen his faith so he can see that You are the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
Bless our new friends at the Treatment Center that they may overcome their addictions and remain strong for each other.
Bless their families and keep them strong in this battle.
Bless the doctors, nurses,counselors and all those who care for those in addiction, many of whom fight their own demons every day.

Dear Friends, I have met a person her name is Stacey and she is an addict. She has four years of recovery. I believe that she is the person that I have been waiting for my entire life. I am asking for everyones prayers to the God our Father to bless our relationship and keep us together, and we enter into marriage. In the past my relationships with women have not been the best. However, I have changed my ways, and I am asking for everyones prayers and blessing that my relationship with Stacey continue as long as we live.

Heavenly Father, I Thank You for All Things. As I come before your throne of grace I ask you Lord to look down upon each and every person on this site as well as their families, and bring DELIVERANCE, HEALING, RESTORATION TO ALL. I pray that you will deliver my sister Janet and boyfriend Theron from their addictions from alcohol. Lord, I pray that you guide them with your love and peace, for the evil has lied to them long enough in this web of deceit. My brother Larry, with his substance abuse, my children from an addictive generational curse to be involved with smoking pot, or trying to sell it. I speak FREEDOM over all their lives, Lord, I know you love us all and desire to see us whole. Send forth people in each person's life who can make an impact, we know you use vessels to bring forth your will and your way. Deliver all that suffer. I also have a sister who's addicted to witchcraft; the devil has tricked her into thinking she can Read A BOOK OF PSALMS,that say you say this for 7-9days and write people's names down and whatever you ask is yours. But the father of lies has used the goodness of God's word to trick her into thinking she's doing What Thus Saith The Lord. Any devises the devil use to cover-up the truth is demonic. All you need to know is to pray to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER : IN HE NAME OF JESUS, and it will be done. Saints, I know there's many others believing in this kind of demonic slavery. The devil come to kill, steal, and destroy; but God come for you can have life abundantly. I pray the peace and love of God over each person whether by direct addiction or family or friends of such. I pray God give you all His peace, that surpasses all humanly understanding. God love you all, walk in his love and freedom. God Bless!

Dear Jesus, Please touch deeply any who are afflicked with addictions. Bring insight and replace the pain with peace and acceptance of the past, and then let it go. Show the way to true happiness and give those of us who have a connection to those afflicted to have the wisdom to make any small difference. Give those who have passed on the rest and peace they so deserve. Tommy was one of us, your children who ask to be in your grace. Amen

Dear Lord, I come to you today thanking you for my life and common sense along with my children, our health and just you period. Lord, I have an addition to gambling. Lord I pray in the name of Jesus that you remove this addiction from me. It has cause some great depression and tormoil in my life. All of my bills or way over due and my car is on the verge of being repossesed. Lord I pray for a financial miracle so that I will be able to catch up with all my bills. And I would also like to purchase school clothes for my children. If any of my brothers and sisters in Christ reads this, I am asking for your prayers as well.

Lord, please watch over Tommy and his family. I have never met neither Tommy or his family, however I do have a brother and boyfriend whom are both reformed herion addicts. I pray for them both and that you help them to stay clean and know how beautiful life can be without drugs. Thank you once again for listening. Amen. to tommy's family...i am very sorry to hear of your loss. i can truly identify with this terrible kind of pain...in fact, i completely lost faith in a creator and any good in the universe beginning on that devestating morning that i found my precious (and only) other sibling dead on the couch of my home clearly with the signs of a drug overdose. how cruel and devestating a SHOCK it was...my BROTHER!!!!! he was 31 years old and died from a speedball (cocain & herion). things have gotten pretty scary lately though also; despite my renewed faith in a higher power over the last couple of years. i have found myself phsycologically if not physically addicted to OPIATE TYPE PAINKILLERS. i am feeling both guilty and afraid. now with whatever faith i have in our creator i pray this: Dear God, please bring all of our lost ones to you...for our deceased, please cradle them in your arms with loving peace and light...and God, if it may be your will and my brother would like the job...then i'd be more than happy for him to be my family's Guardian Angel! as you know, he was the most loving and trusting of anyone i've ever known. he was ALWAYS with me in life...and i miss him terribly!!!!! no matter what please show jimmy all the love and peace there is to be found...if anyone deseres it...HE does! Creator God, i also pray that you reach to me and help me with this hideous addiction...and as we know "BEN AND JERRY'S " is a problem for me too! these addictions we carry can kill us! i pray for ALL of US!!!!! please be there and hold our hands as we learn to take the baby steps needed to WALK AGAIN! please show yourself to us so that we can know that you DO LOVE us...and that you have it all, safe in your hands. please heal us of our afflictions and give us strength, courage, and hopefullness. take away the PAIN and grief that so often leads us towards the road of addiction! Dear Father,
You are our Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, our one, and only true friend. I thank you for all of those that have come to this place of prayer. I thank You for giving us Tommy and his family. Tommy is a blessing for all of us who struggle with addictions. His story brought me here!
Addictions come in many forms – drugs, smoking, alcohol, eating – the list goes on and on. I have suffered from drug addictions in the past; thank you, Lord, for delivering me from these. But I have two, no three, that still plague me, and it seems impossible for ME to rid myself of them. YOU have convicted me as you have many of these here that this is not the way. We seek you for deliverance from these bondages. We seek you for direction. I, we, have admitted to ourselves that we are addicts and helpless. We know we cannot do these things any more. These addictions are robbing us of our self-worth; our finances; our personal relationships, our jobs; and much, much more. Some of our lights, which once shinned brightly, are growing dimmer and dimmer. We want to quit. We have a desire to quit. We have tried to quit, only to go right back. I want freedom. Only YOU can give me, us, this freedom. Guide me, us, where we should go. Give us the wisdom to do what we should do. Then keep us on YOUR path, that we may not fall off the course you have planned for us. Amen.

Lord, as I go through the valley of death, I will fear no evil – help me not to be irritated. Lord, keep me from becoming nervous and depressed. Your word says you will provide a way of escape. Help me, Father. You know how much I can take. Teach to be in good spirits, to have peace of mind. I know you are with me while I pass THROUGH. Thank you, Father.
