AY my sisters, I just received the news about one of the most famous cuban sisgers passed away, her name Celia Cruz, she was famous all over Latin America and Europe and of course the US wherever latin people lived, she was a tru cuban, never went back to the island, when her mother passed in Cuba the bloodiest cuban goverment never allowed her to go back and be with her mother, she spread cuban music all over the world and she was very dear to us cubans, her deepest desire was to go to a free Cuba and sing to ther fellowman, well she died today, Miami is mourning , so is NY and all latin America, her last wish was to have her viewing in Miami (the closed place to Cuba)so they will have the funeral on saturday here in Miami, I will not attend but I am sure my brother and sister will, you shoul see the streets of Miami tonight, it is empty, I feel so bad, it is like part of Cuba is gone.In all the local channels all you see is Celia Cruz (Azucar) like she used to say meaning sugar!, am sure Solange will be there and Heaven today is more sweet than usual. Solange never met her, but her music (salsa) was so popular that she will dance to it (her cuban blood), on top of it all I feel sad for loosing our Celia Cruz, may God welcome her in Heaven, for she was a great human being, I am sure Jesus will welcome her with "AZUCAR" Selva

Dearest Selva, I'm so sorry for you and all who loved her, maybe from Heaven she will be able to help FREE Cuba, I never heard her but wish I had but something we can do is to Storm Heaven so all your Dreams like hers will come true, we never thought the Berlin wall would come down we hoped and it did Why not FREEDOM for all who suffer under such EVIL oh dear one I know you will mourn but Please be very gentle and as much Love you give to all of us We would want you to give that to you I know you have suffered so much but when one suffers so much someday they will know GREAT JOY I know its hard to Believe but try my Dear Sister. dear amgel moms,
i have done some things around my yard that reminds me of michael and how he always loved to help. i planted two yellow rose bushes along the wall in the back yard, and i bought a bird bath and two little statues, one of a little girl holding up her dress for she is carrying bird food in it and the other one is a little girl on the back of her big brother for that is how michael always was with the little kids who where over playing. michael always horsed arond with the kids from the nieghborhood and they always had a great time here. and i also bought a frog and a snail shell that i will put out once a lay all the cedermulch down nd plant the rest of the flowers i bought too. I just don't seem to av the time o do it all with the class. thank you all for stormig heaven with your prayers and i now they are helping for my grade is going up. thank you all so much for listning to me. lots of thoughts and prayers to you all.

Hi my sister, I read the articles you sent me, and as I said, I've never heard of this Singer, but she sounds like a wonderful person, and if the streets of Miami are empty, and she is all over the news, it show's how loved she was by the Cuban and Latino American communities, and yes, Heaven is sweeter with her voice, God rest her soul. It's so sad that once a citizen leaves Cuba, they can never go back, but good always triumphs over evil, and one day Cuba will be free again, as Donna said, nobody ever thought the Berlin Wall would ever come down, but just look now, so never give up hope.
The only Cuban/American singer I know is Gloria Estefan and I like her music, makes you want to get up and dance, :)
Anyway my sister, I'm happy the Imodium is working, and you can finally keep some food in, and yes, it's a miracle, all of you coming from different states, and me from another Country, but when you're connected by the heart, distance doesn't matter. Take good care of yourself, you know our prayers and most of all our love is with you,

Hi dear Deb, your garden and the new accessories sound beautiful, and bring back memories of Michael for you, the Valley days have started for you God bless you, you have Michael's Birthday and his Anniversary so close together, so the harder it is having two special days to get through, you know we're here for you, and will be storming Heaven with prayers for you, let the tears come, and we're still praying that you will hold Skyla in your arms too. I'm so happy your Grades are good, you should be very proud of yourself, we pray and you study, and just look what happens! I lost my son Matthew, 19 in a car accident 4/4/00- because he was very involved in the music program at his high school, we have a music scholarship in his memory set up. He planted some kind of flower- think it's a morning glory- it used to just grow at the front of our front porch, but this year it's taken over the side of the porch also. It's like he's spreading his arms around us. At his grave site we have some flowers & sand art in different shapes, including a heart. Matthew liked the tazmanian devil from the cartoon, so I have his taz key ring with my keys & a small taz doll my husband got from one of those machines sitting in the back seat of my car.

Hello dear hope0126, and welcome to the Circle. I'm so very sorry you've lost a precious child also, your beloved Matthew. Losing a child has a pain all of it's own, it's a very unique loss, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know and/are experiencing.
I think that's a beautiful way of keeping Matthew's memory alive and honouring him by setting up a music scholarship at his high school. So many will now benefit because of Matthew's love of music and your generosity, that may not have had the chance. Ah, I think that's really sweet that the flower has spread and now wraps itself around your home, Matthew's way of a big hug! It sounds like his gravesite is decorated with a lot of love. Having a key ring and doll of the Tazmanian Devil is a nice way of staying 'connected' to the things Matthew liked. Love is Eternal, it never dies, so your bond with Matthew is never broken, even though he may not physically be here with you anymore, he is in spirit! I'm happy you found this Circle of Love as we call it, and I hope that you post again, this is a safe haven to talk about how you're feeling, doing, all of us here understand, and you'll only find compassion, support, understanding, love and prayers here. Everybody's feelings are honoured and never any judging - we may receive it from others, but never here. So please come back anytime and post, we're all one big family. Hello my dear Sister, ~ I am so very sorry to read about the loss that you and your fellow Cuban families have suffered. Your loss is our loss, and we will walk with you through your sorrow. The name Celia is such a beautiful name. I am sure she had a beautiful spirit and that her music brought comfort and a sense of hopefulness to all who knew and loved her. Her spirit will live on, and I know that God welcomed her with open arms, and that Solange and all our angels were there to greet her as she entered the golden gates of heaven. I'LL can just see your beautiful Solange showing Celia around heaven. :) We will join you in praying that Cuba will one day be free of all the oppression that has existed there for so many years. God does not sleep, and everything that has been taken from us in this old sinful world will be restored tenfold in the next world. The evil one, and his demons, will be no more!

Just think about it Selva, we are heirs to the kingdom ... Jesus is actually our big brother, and God is our loving Father. :) And I imagine there is a very huge family reunion going on every single day in heaven. And just as He has done so many times in the past, when each of us have finished all that God the Father sent us here to do, He will welcome each of us to our heavenly home. That is why God sent His son Jesus into this world, so that He could serve as an example, a model for mankind to follow. Yes, miracles are happening all around us everyday! And, you are so right, we have a very special love in our hearts for each other, even though none of us have ever met. :) God's love for us is unconditional, and that is the kind of love He has placed in our hearts for one another, even though we have never met. :) We are but a part of a larger picture, and someday, God will reveal His great master plan that has been in existence since the beginning of time. One of my favorite chapters in the bible is 1 Corinthians, 1-13, which begins:

[Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal ...] :)

Every time I read that short, but meaningful chapter, I feel so grateful for the unconditional love that we share here with one another, even though we have never met. I pray that your health is improving and that you feel the love we have in our hearts for you, Deb, and others, as you move towards your special anniversary date, and especially on that day, may you feel our compassion, our nearness in spirit, and our unconditional love...!

Dear angel moms, This is a prayer request for healing. Today, I have severe tenderness on the inside of my upper arm, right beneath the armpit. I have not experience this before. I also have a lot of numbness in my left hand. It may be nothing serious. Still, I ask for your prayers. :) I have been taking my meds, and stayed off the computer for most of the day because of the pain. I will have it checked if it's not better by morning.

vena i hope you have it checked out. i know the pain of tendernites for i have it in my right shoulder. i had the nerve moved in my right elbo from an engery that happen to me in 1997 from a specal ed high school sudent. she slammed the door on my elbo. now i have disability in that arm. thank you for thinking of me on my special days as i will be thinking of you on yours. i will also be saying prayers to you selva as your day is coming up too next month. lots love to you all.

Thank you for all the kind and beautiful words. I do to wish there where more people like me instead of a of a paycheck. that includs some i work with. the children i work with didn't ask for what there special needs are but it's up to us to keep them smiling and given them everything we can. god bless you and thank you again.

Dearest Verna, I sure hope tomorrow the pain goes away, it was sweet of you to post with being in pain but your wisdom shines through and God is so awesome to bring us all together and yes the unconditional Love that has helped us all so much. Dearest Selva, I hope our Love reaches you through such a difficult time and all I can add is Amen to what Verna wrote, its hard to face so much when you are physcally ill to boot but just hold on, next week you will be where you have wanted and we are all Praying for Answers and Healing, it will be so good for you just to get away. I read the article about Cecilia and she was and is a remarkable women, sounds like someone we know, Sending Love and Hope for a brighter time and a peaceful time so however you feel now soon you will be where you wanted and it will do you so much GOOD evem though we will be waiting for whatever you feel like sharing.
