I am in need of prayer. My husband of 15 years has told me he wants a divorce.I have not been the best wife I am not perfect and I did not show him how much I loved him and needed him. He met a woman online and says that he loves her but he is telling me that is not why he is leaving me it's because I have made him unhappy for a few years. He says he still loves me but can not live with me anymore. I am having a hard time dealing with this and I know now that I did make a lot of mistakes and I also realize I love him still I feel I can't go on without him I feel like if he would just give me another chance that I can show him that I have changed and I know deep in my heart he still loves me. I want him to come home so very badly and I know that God can show him that we were meant to be. I have been praying and so has my family but I need more prayers please pray for me and pray for him.

SJS76~In response to what you wrote on 3/24/07: Well, the person who told you to give up on your marriage...are they saved? If so, are they saved and delivered? If the answer is "no" to either question, I strongly advise you to not go by their advice. He/she may mean well, but what they are telling you is not in line with the Word of God. Be careful whom you seek advice from. If they aren't saved, they are going by the world's way of doing things...not God's way. God hates divorce. It's been three months for you. That is not enough time to say, "I give up, Lord." My husband and I were separated for eight months. And there are some people I know who have waited two years or more for their spouses to come back. Don't be so concerned about "how long" it takes. The most important thing to pray is for your husband's salvation and deliverance [even more than praying for your marriage to be healed and restored]. Because when he gets right with the Lord, he will want to do right by you.

If I had listened to everyone who told me to give up on my marriage when he was living with another woman during our separation, I doubt that we would be together today. No, seek God and WAIT for His answer. The answer may not come right away. Or, He could be speaking to you and you just don't hear Him because you're too focused on what you're going through right now. Don't make any decisions--great or small--without seeking God and asking Him, "What is it that You want me to do, Lord?"

Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus. Lord, I thank You that she will find out who she is in Christ. I thank You that You will tear down all strongholds off of her life. I thank You that she will have a clear mind to receive Your Word. I thank You that you are not the author of confusion. I thank You for giving her the desires of her heart. I thank You for giving her increased anointing, spiritual growth, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, revelation, discernment, strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure this difficult ordeal. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

PRAYERGIRL33~In response to what you wrote on 3/27/07: I set my faith in agreement with yours for all marriages to be healed and restored. I also pray that when people forgive, that they will do so wholeheartedly--not just with the words "I forgive you", but with their hearts, too. I pray for all soulties and communications to cease if their is another person involved that shouldn't be. May God give all who are going through separation, divorce or marital problems increased strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Father, I thank You for being in the midst of our marriages. I thank You for being a Hedge of Protection around our marriages. And I plead the blood of Jesus over all marriages, Lord. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

BABYFAITH24~In response to what you wrote on 3/29/07: I am so sorry that you feel as if your husband doesn't love you anymore and that he's not there for you like you want him to be during this special time in both of your lives. However, I strongly advise that you do NOT separate from him unless God tells you to. Don't make any decisions--great or small, without asking God "What is it that You want me to do, Lord?", and then WAIT for His answer.

Speaking from experience: it's easier to work on your marriage under the same roof than under separate roofs. Being separated often gives the other spouse a feeling of "singleness" which is unhealthy. That can lead to more trouble. You don't want to do something that will give Satan another avenue into your marriage. I pray that everything will work out for you and that you will carry the baby the full term and that you will have a safe delivery and that both of you will be healthy and well. God bless you!

PARAKEE~In response to what you wrote on 3/30/07: Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in this marriage and in their lives as individuals, on earth as it is in Heaven. I pray for their salvation and deliverance from all things that are not pleasing in Your sight, Lord. I thank You that the lines of communication will remain open and that they will talk "to" each other and not "at" each other. I thank You for rekindling the fire to burn within their hearts for each other and only each other, once again. Remind them of the reasons why they fell in love and got married in the first place. I thank You that she will stop going out so much, and I thank You that he will cease all communications with the other woman. Please break the soulties he has with this other woman. I thank You for drawing them both to You, Lord. Strengthen them in the areas where they are weak. I thank You that they ARE (not will be) the husband and wife that You placed them on this earth to be. I thank You that they have NO fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. I thank You for removing all negative influences from their lives and for tearing down all strongholds off of their lives. I thank You for sending Godly people into their lives to mentor them and minister to them. I thank You for being in the midst of this marriage and for being a Hedge of Protection around this marriage. I thank You that they will find out who they are in Christ so they can put Satan under their feet and out of their home. I thank You that this marriage is filled with: love, peace, joy, fidelity, trust, honesty, respect, unity, good communication, passion and romance. May their lives be filled with the fruit of the Spirit. May NO harm come nigh their dwelling. I plead the blood of Jesus over them as individuals and over their marriage. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

On this most Holy of weeks, we walk with Jesus along the journey to Calvary. We suffer in faith and look forward in the belief of New Life and Resurrection. We look forward to Easter joy. May we walk this painful road, knowing that we walk with Jesus, and no matter how much betrayal and rejection we face because of our circumstances, may we trust always in the hope of God's promise of a healed, restored and blessed marriage. Even Jesus asked for the cup to be taken away from him and asked God "Why have You forsaken me?" If Christ Himself experienced such great despair in his agony, we must know that He KNOWS our pain and has experienced our sorrow. And Jesus is there NOW to guide us to the Light at the end of this tunnel. Each day is a day closer to receiving our miracle. Walk with Jesus. There is no greater path to take and you will never fail.

Lord God, I pray for many marriages to experience the power of Your healing touch this week as many of us fast and pray in a special way to receive the blessings You promise us. See us as faithful as we wait in joyful hope to experience Your faithfulness in accomplishing your perfect plan in the restoration and healing of our marriages. Bring many prodigal spouses to their senses, release them from the bonds of sin, free them from ungodly relationships, open their eyes, renew their spirits, give them a new heart and a new mind -- the mind of Christ. Bring them HOME to You and to us, their waiting and praying spouses, the ones to which you have united them in the sacred bond of marriage. May our restored marriages bring us joy as we praise Your name for what you are doing and what You have done. May our lives be a living testimony to Your goodness and glory. Give us hope, increase our faith and confirm to us Your will. Thank You God for hearing and answering our prayers.

In Jesus mighty name we pray.

AMEN.

WNTR~In response to what you wrote on 4/6/07: I am so sorry that your husband is hurting you emotionally by doing these things. I suggest reading and hopefully for him to read, too, a book by Neil T. Anderson called The Bondage Breaker. It will help him get free if he truly wants to be free of this addiction, and in the meantime, it will help you understand what is going on in the spiritual realm regarding this matter.

Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in this marriage, on earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, I pray for her husband's salvation and deliverance from all things that is not pleasing in Your sight. I thank You for drawing him closer to You and for sending Godly people to come into his life to mentor him and minister to him. Prepare his heart, Lord, to receive Your truth. Make him aware that what he's doing is not okay by any means. I thank You that he will live to serve You and do Your Will and will love his wife just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for Her. I thank You for giving her increased anointing, spiritual growth, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, revelation, discernment, strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure this difficult ordeal. I thank You that this marriage IS (not will be) healed. I thank You that NO weapon formed against them shall prosper. I thank You that they ARE blessed in abundance to the full until it overflows in ALL areas of their lives. I thank You for being in the midst of this marriage and for being a Hedge of Protection around this marriage. I plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage, Lord. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Please pray for my husband to be touched and transformed by the power of God's Holy Spirit. Although he spent most of Easter day with us as a family, he is still with the other woman and living with her. After our day together on Easter Sunday, he once again left us to go back to "the far country." Please pray that God will end that relationship once and for all, bring my husband to his senses and deliver him from the bondage of sin. Please pray that God will bring my husband HOME for good, that he will follow God's call to be the husband, father and man of God that he was created to be. It has been a long journey of prayer, fasting, devotions, faith and hope. Please pray that God will "soon crush Satan under my feet"(Rom 16:20). May God heal and restore MANY marriages; may their be a mighty harvest of souls this Easter season. Thank you and God bless.

Please pray for me and my husband. I have been married to this man for 24 years and we dated several years before we were married. He says that he no longer loves me like he used to. We have 3 beautiful girls who are grown. I love this man with all my heart and do not want my marriage to end. I have asked him for forgiveness (I tried to commit suicide) and he says that he doesn't know if he can forgive. I have prayed for god's forgiveness and I have prayed for his and for his love for me to return. Your prayers will be greatly appreciated. My husband's name is Bill and I am Frankie. Nice to meet all of you. Thanks again.

To MOM23angels:

Read thes scriptures in the Holy Bible:
1 cor 6:9 10
Do you not know that the unrighteous
will not inherit the kingdom of God?!
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God .

matt 16:49 so it will be at the end of the age... the angels will come and seperate the wicked from the just and cast the wicked into the furnace of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1 corin 7:39 a wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives: but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes
( as long as he also belongs to the Lord, believes in the Lord Jesus Christ)

I corinthians 7:10 to the married the Lord gives this command
A wife is not to depart from her husband
Vs 11
If she does depart let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife

I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.
Malachi 2:16, New International Version

1 cor 6:18
flee sexual immorality

It is God's will that you abstain from all sex outside of the marriage covenant.

Matt 15:19 for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemes...theses are the things which defile a human person ( these things proceed out of the mouth but come from the heart -vs.18)(also in mark 7)

Matt 19:4-10
is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife
and for any reason?
God made MALE and FEMALE in the beginning...1 man and 1 woman. (also in Genesis 1,2,3)

vs 5 of Matt 19 says a male man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two become one flesh. They are no longer 2 but one.
What God has joined together let not man seperate.

vs 7 and 8 says Moses allowed them to put away their wives because of the hardness of their hearts...BUT THIS WAS NOT SO FROM THE BEGINNING...this putting away and divorcing of wives was not how God created marriage.

Vs 9 states whoever--- which means all who do this---
WHOEVER divorces except for sexual immorality and marries another ...commits ADULTERY....

and what happens to the other spouse?????
WHOEVER marries who is divorced commits adultery.

and the disciples stated in vs 10....
if such is the case of a man with his wife,
IT IS BETTER NOT TO MARRY...
it would of been better that they never had married.

so what does the Word say!!!!

read Mark ch 10

vs 11 specifically says: Jesus said to them
whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her

and if a woman divorces her husband and marries another she commits adultery

Romans 7:3 if while her husbad lives and she marries another man, she is called an adulteress: but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.

Dear God, I lift up broken marriages, failed relationships, separations, divorces, adulterous relationships, abuse, addiction, hatred, unforgiveness, anger, and selfishness, all to YOU, the Healer, Restorer and Rebuilder. You send Your Spirit to renew the face of the earth. We lift up our sins, our burdens, our worries to You, O Lord. We lift them up to heaven and lay them at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ. Take our concerns into Your competent hands and as a potter with clay, transform them into something more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Allow us to let go of control and let God enact His perfect plan in His perfect timing. Give us hope to endure and faith to believe in Your awesome power. Show us confirmations through signs, dreams and Your Word so that we may know You are present in our affliction and that You are the Light at the end of this tunnel through which we journey. Although the journey is long and dark, show us that we never walk alone.

God, please touch my husband's heart, end the other relationship completely and bring him home to You, to me and to his children. May I submit myself to Your will and be subject to Your perfect plan. I praise You, Lord for hearing and answering my prayers; for healing and restoring many marriages, families and relationships with Your powerful love. I praise You now, Lord for what You have done, what You are doing and what You will do.

To God be all the glory both now and forevermore.

In Jesus' Name I pray.

Amen.
