Dear Lord, I lift up the requests and prayers made by we who desire the healing and restoration of our covenant relationships -- our marriages -- which were sanctified and blessed by You and because You stand with us, we can be confident that what You have joined, no one will divide. Let us remain faithful, confident, hopeful, ever-trusting in our God for His promise to rebuild, restore, renew our marriage relationships. Nothing is too hard for our Lord. We must NOT DOUBT, but BELIEVE. We must pray as if we have already received that for which we pray; pray with full confidence, in FAITH. May all darkness be cast out of our minds, all doubt be erased, for that is the enemy's doing. We must overcome the direness of circumstances and focus our eyes on Jesus who will lead us through this storm. Lord God, give us renewed hope and confidence this day; show us a sign of confirmation that will let us know that You are with us and that we are doing Your will in standing for our marriages. Bless each person here with your Holy Spirit to lead them exactly where they should be. Use us as a tool of healing and restoration. Lead our spouses to You, O Lord. Lead them to repentance and salvation. Call them so that they may hear Your voice, in such a powerful way that they cannot ignore it. Bring our spouses home and give us the grace to receive Your blessings; the patience to allow Your will to be done in Your perfect time according to Your most perfect plan. May God bless each one here. In Jesus' powerful and mighty name I pray. Amen.

Please pray for my marriage of 30 years. My husband says he still loves me and always will but he is not into the marriage, he rather spend time with his friends who are all divorced or never been married. I feel like so scared. He won't talk to me about anything. I pray that God will breathe new life into this marriage.

I came across this site today.. I have been married twice. I married at 18 and had 3 boys. We were married for 15 yrs and I just didnt feel that we had a good marriage. I tried to get my ex to see that I was hurting. He is a very jealous man. Controlling and insecure. I wasnt able to have male friends and he assumed that I was having affairs with every guy I knew. He was so insecure that he wanted me to quit my job that I happened to love. I worked at an airport and met lots of people. I loved to talk to anyone. I quit my job because thats what he wanted. I went to back to work..a different company, different environment. We started to go to a christian counselor for months. Everything would be fine for a day or 2 after seeing him. I always felt like he was attacking me for not having the house clean, not having dinner ready, and so on. I felt like I was in trouble if I didnt get my chores done. I tried to tell him over and over about how I felt. He just wouldnt listen. I started talking to my boss about my problems..thinking that maybe a new light could be shed since he was the same sex as my ex. It all started innocent. We started having feelings for each other. I filed for divorce and my boss & I got married and now have 1 kid together. I still have feelings for my ex. I have seen an attorney and so has my husband. We are prepared to get divorced. My husband has been so understanding and patient with me. He says if I still love him and want him then I should go to him. My ex says he wants me...but hasnt changed his ways. He is mad because the divorce isnt further along. He gets mad if I am talking to my husband. I just wonder what life would be like if we did get back together. I would still have to talk to my husband now after the divorce because we have a beautiful little girl who is only 16 mo old. I think that there could be more problems down the road. I love both men. They are completly opposites. My ex is 41 and husband is 52. I am 36. And am in need of some serious prayer. I am very emotional about this situation. I need advice and prayer. I am confused and scared!

PASSION8SPIRIT~In response to what you wrote on 2/19/07: You mentioned that you want God to make you the wife that your husband wants. Your prayer should be, "Lord, make me the wife that You want me to be. And make my husband the husband that You want him to be." In phrasing it this way, you are asking for God's Will to be done, not your spouse's will.

Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in this marriage, on earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, I thank You for bringing the prodigal spouses back home. May they have the desire to want to be the spouse that You placed them on this earth to be. Lord, I thank You that her husband will end his affair with the other woman. I thank You for breaking off the strongholds that keeps him running back to her. I pray for his salvation and deliverance from all things that are not pleasing in Your sight. May he have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. I thank You for removing all negative influences from his life. Remind him of all of the reasons why he fell in love and married his wife. Rekindle the fire within him, Lord, to burn for his wife. Please give her increased strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure this difficult ordeal. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

God bless you!

MKEA~In response to what you wrote on 2/19/07: Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in this marriage, on earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, I thank You that this marriage IS (not will be) healed and restored. I thank You for being in the midst of this marriage and for being a Hedge of Protection around this marriage. I plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage. I thank You for giving her increased strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure this difficult ordeal. Remind her husband of all You have forgiven him for. May he then have the desire to want to work things out with his wife. Remind him of all of the reasons why he fell in love and married her in the first place. Soften his hardened heart, Lord, and open up his spiritually blinded eyes. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

BARDSTOWN~In response to what you wrote on 2/23/07: You are going through what you're going through because of the 'friends' that your husband has. He needs to change his circle of friends. As long as he hangs around single and/or divorced people, he won't be focusing on healing his marriage.

Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in this marriage, on earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, I thank You for being in the midst of this marriage and for being a Hedge of Protection around this marriage. I plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage, Lord, and I thank You that this marriage IS (not will be) healed. I thank You for giving her husband dreams/visions of what he is to do. May he be the husband that You placed him on this earth to be. I thank You for drawing him to You and back to this marriage. I thank You for giving her increased strength, comfort, peace and patience to endure this difficult ordeal. May she not try to 'fix' the situation, but may she let go and let You be God. For You know the end from the beginning, Lord. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

OUTNUMBEREDLADY~In response to what you wrote on 2/23/07: I am in no way trying to judge you. That is not my place. However, the reason why things are not prospering in your marriage, is because you left your ex-husband for another man. God isn't blessing your current marriage, because in His eyes you are still married to your ex-husband. I know the reasons seem valid for divorcing your ex-husband. But the only reason I've found in the Bible that God will allow for a divorce, is if your spouse committed adultery. I can't tell you whether or not to stay with your husband or leave him to go back to your ex-husband. You will have to seek God and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what you should do. However, by what you've stated about your ex-husband...things will be the same or worse if you go back, because he has shown no signs of changing. Yes, you love him, and you probably always will. But, you are married now. My advice to you is this: Ask God what you should do. In the meantime, focus on your husband and be the Godly wife that God placed you on this earth to be. Also, ask God to forgive you for divorcing your ex-husband. Forgive yourself for going against God's Will. The rest will be revealed to you in time, if you earnestly and diligently seek God for His answer.

Father God, I come to You now in the precious Name of Jesus, asking for Your Will to be done in Your child's life, on earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, I thank You for showing/revealing to her what she should do. I thank You that Your Will will be done, not hers. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Satan doesn't break up marriages. All he does is put the welcome mat out and creak open the door. But we open the door and walk through it. We are responsible for our brokenness. To say otherwise, and to blame Satan, is to say that he is stronger than God and I don't buy that for a moment. Take responsibility, or make your mate take responsibility.

Please pray for my marriage of 11 years.Me & my husband Jose have 2 beautiful girl 10yrs/10months. A couple a months ago I discovered that my husband was being unfaithful to me with a younger girl from his work. He told me that he was not sure how he felt about me & he needed time to be alone. Nothing that anyone said mattered not even his kids mattered. We are back together again & everthing seems to be better but I know that he still has a relationship with this girl over the phone.I know when he talks to her because he totally changes & he is totally a different person..not the man that I married. I just pray to GOD to break the ties that are between her & my husband & other ties between other woman too.
Thanks

The enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy--to steal our spouses, to kill our love and destroy our marriages and families. Darkness, evil, deception: these are all very real and potent forces in our lives and in the lives of our spouses. I have seen the face of evil. I have seen the darkness rear its ugly face from behind my husband's eyes. I know that there is a dark presence that is working in my spouse's mind and heart, and I pray against that enemy every moment, binding it in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ. I pray for the warrior angels in heaven and all the saints to join with me in communion in interceding in prayer for my husband and against the dark forces at work in my beloved's life. My husband has a calling on his life, a call to minister. Because he has been chosen and has the power to reach many for the cause of Christ, the enemy has fiercely opposed him and our marriage. This is not a battle of flesh and blood. The enemy is not my husband. It is not the woman with whom he is involved. The enemy is Satan and all the dark forces of hell and of this world. We must pray with the authority given to us in the name of Jesus Christ to overcome the enemy and claim victory in Jesus. For the Light has come into the world to overcome the darkness. Darkness can not overcome the Light. Today, let us FAST and PRAY for our marriages, families and spouses to be set FREE from the bondage of sin and to fully and completely escape the trap of the enemy by which they have been taken captive. Let us claim our marriages as HEALED and RESTORED and PRAISE GOD for working so mightily and powerfully in ways both seen and unseen. Let us pray that all soul ties, bonds, attachments and attractions to ungodly and adulterous relationships be BROKEN, SEVERED and DESTROYED completely. Let us pray that our wayward spouses be TRANSFORMED by the power of the Holy Spirit; that our spouses may be given an undivided heart, a new spirit and the mind of Christ. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will fill us and allow us to be a bright light, radiantly attracting our spouses back to the Lord and back home. May God move mountains today and each day.

"Stand your ground, Don't give up,
For the One who has promised will be true.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, He will see you through.
Walk on water, Cast the mountain into the sea,
Don't be afraid. Just believe."

Amen.

PASSION8SPIRIT~In response to what you wrote on 3/2/07: I strongly agree with everything you've stated. Satan does come to steal, kill and destroy. The kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent [believers] must take it by force. So, we need to gird ourselves with the armor of God, according to Ephesians 6:10-18 and take back what the devil tried to steal from us! Take it back [marriage, joy, peace, finances, health, etc.] because it doesn't belong to him! He is a liar, theif and nothing good comes from him. Don't give Satan the satisfaction of just sitting back and doing nothing. We are in a spiritual battle. Don't be afraid of the battle. We already know that we have the victory and that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus! Amen.

Please keep me & my marriage in your prayers. Please pray that I stay strong in the LORD as I have seen him work in my husband & in our lives. Pray that the hold that girl has over my husband break & vanish as it is very strong. I know that for the LORD there is nothing impossible but possible for him. Also pray that my marriage & other marriages like mine heal & be restored.

PRAYERGIRL33 and ALL who suffer from the excruciating pain of betrayal; whose spouses have been deceived by the enemy and are caught in the web of adultery: I know your pain. It is an incredible burden to live with; to be violated so deeply by the one with whom we have become one flesh. We must pray not only for our spouses to come to their senses and escape the trap of the enemy who has held them captive to do his will, but also for the "other person" to also be touched and convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit. We must pray for repentance and salvation for all involved in the situation and seek daily to forgive all who are involved. We must know that no matter how messed up our lives seem, how irreparable the damage, how tangled the webs, how deep the despair--no matter what--that our God can and WILL use what the enemy intended for evil as part of His plan for good. That ALL THINGS will work together for GOOD for those who love God. We cannot see or understand with our human eyes the greater and PERFECT plan of our God. But we cannot lose faith or hope. Trust in God at all times. Stand firm. Believe and claim the promises of God in your life. He will never fail. LOVE NEVER FAILS.

PASSION8SPIRIT in response to what you wrote today,I totally agree with you that we not only need to pray for our spouses & for us but for the other person involved that the LORD inlighten them. I do pray for her...I pray to the LORD that she finds the LORD & she can find happiness in someone else. And that she can undo herself for the binds of sin that she is involved in. The pain that has been imposed on me has been unbarable & sometimes I feel like I can't go on but through prayer & the prayers of others I have had the strength to go on & forgive my husband & this other person in the name of the LORD. I never thought this could ever happen to me but it has. I never thought that I could endure it but I have. With the LORD everything is possible we just need to trust in him & give thanks to us divine plan he has for us.

Dear Lord,
Please bless all marriages throughout the world and heal it with love, faithfulness and trust. For us who are going through rough patches currently,(including myself) please strengthen our faith in thee and guide us through the difficult times. For those who are divorced, separated or currently going through a divorce, to heal us of the pain caused and grant us the wisdom to accept the future that thee has mapped out for us.

Each Friday, I pray and fast in a particularly special way for my marriage and for all marriages in need of God's healing. Fridays are hard for us spouses whose absent spouse is living it up with the other person while we are home alone or with our children, praying for our spouse and hurting because of the pain of betrayal; because of the loneliness we feel. Fridays are my hardest day and night. This is supposed to be the end of the work week, the day we look forward to being with our families or going on a date with our spouse. Instead, it becomes a dreaded day when we know that our beloved is out living the single life with an adulterous partner while we carry a burden for them, praying for their repentance and salvation, praying for God to bring them to their senses and bring them home. For eight months I have prayed, fasted and changed my life in every way possible and each day I continue to push myself farther, seeking God's will, asking God, "What more can I do?" Although the battle is not mine, but God's and I must wait for God's perfect plan in God's perfect timing, I cannot help but hurt because of what my husband is doing and what he continues to do. His actions say that me and our four children are not who he wants to be with, that we are not important to him, that he does not love us. His actions say that his marriage vows mean nothing and that his conscience lacks a moral compass as he wanders aimlessly in the desert of immorality, seemingly without shame or guilt. The pain of adultery, betrayal, and separation is devastating. How much longer, O Lord will you allow my family to suffer? How much more shall we endure before we are able to see the joy of restoration and healing in our marriage and family? Please act quickly Lord so that my children will not be any longer affected by this; that my children will have a home built on a SOLID foundation with a loving, faithful mother and father whose marriage is built on the SOLID ROCK of Jesus Christ. Please, God, have mercy on me, forgive me of all my sins, cleanse me, heal me and fill me with your most Holy Spirit. Touch my husband's heart, his mind, his spirit. Transform him by the power of your infinite, unfailing love. Lord God, I pray that this Friday will be a day of rejoicing instead of mourning as you bring many prodigal spouses to their senses, restore to them the joy of Your salvation and bring them HOME once and for all. In Jesus' mighty name I pray. AMEN.
