Thomas W. Glenn Jr.
Tommy was a wonderful man. He was charming, intelligent, charismatic and good-hearted. He could always put a smile on your face.

This prayer circle is for all of those who are suffering from the disease of addiction, dealing with a family members addiction, or those of us who have lost a loved one to addiction. In loving memory of Tommy. September 2,1975-January 27,2001. God Bless

This prayer circle is in memory of Thomas W. Glenn Jr. Tommy was an intelligent, articulate, charming and good-hearted young man. His life ended short at the young age of 25. A true genius, the things he could have achieved if given the chance. On a cold Januay morning he passed away from "bad heroin". His family and loved ones miss him desperately and need prayers. Also, in honor of Tommy the prayers are being said for all of those suffering from the disease drug addiction, families dealing with addiction and loved ones of those who have passed on due to addiction. Tom was a conquerer, if this could beat could beat anyone. Please help one another. Please Lord, give me the strength to continue to fight for this cause. God bless you.

Tom, you are in the Lords hands now and one day we will meet again For now, I pray for you all the peace and happiness in heaven.

Dear Father,

May your love and strength be with my husband, Van, as he struggles to deal with his addictions and his shame. May you allow him the opportunity to see your love and your Word. Thank you Almighty Father for your revelations and presence in my life. You have allowed me to begin to deal with my own demons and free me from my pain. Thank you Jesus for your guidance and your presence in my walk.

YHWY Father creator I come in praise for all the recovery you are gifting those who are truly willing to be willing to surrender the old ways and be restored and reborn as children of light. Father you saved my husband from alcohol, cocaine, cigarettes, even chewing tobacco, he is whole and clean, healthy. Today at age 49 he and his brother in Christ hiked 15 miles in the mountains and came back renewed and strong. Father I see your hand in this, praises to you for his salvation, I seek this for everyone here who is suffering and encouragement for all who love the addict, if we stay in the Word there is amazing grace. Christ Jesus in us all is the healer, in His name I pray that each one will find their way. Amen

my prayer is that we, the people, will overcome drugs no matter how much gets smuggled in and no matter if the drug dealers are right next door.Let's stop criticizing and blaming each other and start loving each other out of this wilderness. We can't bring back the ones who died from this but I believe they would want to fight the war and win to stop this plague and put and end to the scourge. Let's make a commitment to look after each other, communicate and participate in each others lives for a brighter tomorrow and in accomplishing that...Tommy's death would not be in vain. "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins." 1 peter 4:8

5/22/2002 21:17

Thank you Lord for over 7 years clean. It is through you that I have stayed clean. Thank you for the many gifts you have given me as I walked the narrow path of recovery.
May the deaths of others somehow shed light on those that remain to seek your help to recover, that no addict need die from the horrors of addiction. I know that if you can heal me and provide the wonderful life you have given me, anyone who seeks your help can find it. Amen

5/23/2002 11:21

Dear Lord,
I do not know Tommy or his family, however I would like to say a prayer for him and his family.

Bless this young man and now that he is with you, you can show him the path of righteousness. Addiction is a hard road and sometimes we all fall, and you are there to pick us up as you have for Tommy, bless his family in their time of need and help them keep the faith.

5/23/2002 11:44

Dear God in Heaven please help my husband. He has an addiction to alcohol and drugs. We have a loving family and two children. We need him in our life and I am praying that you will show him the right path so that our family can be whole again.

5/25/2002 20:58

Heavenly Father, Please be with Tommy's spirit, and help him. Send the Great Comforter to comfort his family...Help all of those suffering in the bondage of addiction, guide them to a better way, help them to know your amazing love that you have for them-and help them to realize that they are worthy of that great love. Amen

5/26/2002 09:39

Dear Lord, please keep your children safe with you over this holiday weekend, and help them to make the right decisions nomatter how much they want to do otherwise. I pray also for all the families who lost a loved one or loved ones to drunk driving, especially if lost to anothers driving while intoxicated. It is a hard thing to deal with when someone you love passes for what we see as no good reason at all, and even harder to deal with the raging emotion and anger to those we see as responsibe, give them strength to see past their own hatred toward those who took their loved ones from them and let them be comforted in knowing that you hold them beside you in heaven. Each day alcoholism stays a deadly disease that tends to take others' lives when taken behind the wheel, and more often than not it spares the life of the driver, please make these people see the reality in what they are about to do so that they don't take on the guilt and hurt of taking another's life by their carelessness. For all these things i pray in Your name dear God, thanks for your blessing in each beautiful day you send us and for all that You do.Amen.

5/28/2002 18:49

Dear Lord
Thanks for all the friends that joined this family in prayer. Give hope and strength to all families that today are fighting to free one of their members from any kind of addiction. Send your blessings upon all of them. Don't let Tommy's death be in vain. Thanks for hearing our prayers and answering them. AMEM

Please pray that my new husband and i can find a home to call our own so we can be happy, content, and a little more at ease..home is where the heart is and our hearts are broken--moving will help my husbands sobriety!
