Thomas W. Glenn Jr.
Tommy was a wonderful man. He was charming, intelligent, charismatic and good-hearted. He could always put a smile on your face.

This prayer circle is for all of those who are suffering from the disease of addiction, dealing with a family members addiction, or those of us who have lost a loved one to addiction. In loving memory of Tommy. September 2,1975-January 27,2001. God Bless

This prayer circle is in memory of Thomas W. Glenn Jr. Tommy was an intelligent, articulate, charming and good-hearted young man. His life ended short at the young age of 25. A true genius, the things he could have achieved if given the chance. On a cold Januay morning he passed away from "bad heroin". His family and loved ones miss him desperately and need prayers. Also, in honor of Tommy the prayers are being said for all of those suffering from the disease drug addiction, families dealing with addiction and loved ones of those who have passed on due to addiction. Tom was a conquerer, if this could beat him...it could beat anyone. Please help one another. Please Lord, give me the strength to continue to fight for this cause. God bless you.

WE LOVE YOU TOM!!!

Tom, you are in the Lords hands now and one day we will meet again For now, I pray for you all the peace and happiness in heaven.

O God,
Please help my husband who is suffering from a powerful addiction that has taken him over. Give him the strength to fight the temptations he faces. I know he wants to do the right thing but seems powerless at times. Please extend Your powerful hand to guide him.
Please give me the strength and patience to support him and quell the anger I feel--I fear the loss of our marriage and family unit.
Thank you God for our three extraordinary children. We truly are blessed. Please protect them from the pain of this powerful addiction so that they may continue to be kind and understanding rather than angry and bitter.
Please continue to look after Tommy's family and all families who have lost a loved one to drugs and watch over all addicts and their families.

Dear God,
Help deliver our families from the continuous pain & suffering we are enduring. Please light our hearts with your spiritual healing. Let our love grow for each other. Let us help each other to heal our wounds to scars. Let us live in happiness, peace & harmony. Thanking God for each day we have each other. We are all from the same family shoot....Let us blossom & stop to smell the roses, to listen to the birds, to enjoy the spring scent. Let it cleanse our souls & remind us that the cycle of life will go on. In Jesus name we pray
Amen

Dear Lord,
I pray for all those afflicted with the disease of addiction. That they may be able to be free of whatever their devil may be. Whether it be drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, food, that you will heal them and they will be able to overcome their day to day battles without giving in. Lord thank you for George and for his life. Thank you for our children and for bringing us together. I know that although he has done things to hurt me and the family he hasnt done them intentionally. Lord I ask you to bless him today and always Lord and to help him overcome those addictions that he's fighting and that we can again become a close and loving family. Lord I ask you to help heal our hearts that we can forgive each other for all the hurt we've caused each other and the family. I ask you to bless all of us always. In the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen

Dear Lord, please watch over Your children suffering from their grief this night and the next, in these coming weeks of spring the urges to break outand overpowering thoughts of immediate problems plague the willpower of those with addiction...and with Your help Lord i pray that comfort will prevail over the power evil brings to these hot summer days and nights, causing those suffering more ease to escape to the streets for comfort rather than Your loving arms. In Your name i pray love everlating fill the thoughts of Your children. Amen

My humble prayers for all who suffer from addiction, as I have all my 53 years**I need the support of all your prayers, as, at this point, I feel that the prayers of others are more powreful for me, as mine may be for you***Because of the powerlessness I (we) feel because of my (our) actions ; I know that I, for sure would be given greater strength by the belief that other's were actually praying for/with me***May The Divine Bless and empower us all***We all were born to be free and joyful beings; whatever the reason(s) were that made us seek solice in addictions to whatever substance(s)***May we now be freed from that illusion and be able to process and free ourselves from these shackles that restrain us from being true, free, creative and; most of all, loving beings that reflect the Divine in ourselves, instead of the "damaged by life" beings that we have , however and by whoever, been tricked into believing we are**"Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery; all we have is today***That is why it is called " the Present"***I truly believe that th power of group prayer is the closest we can come to projecting the unconditional Love and healing power of the Divine****May we all be freed from whatever holds us back from true peace and contentment and the Light of Love***Amen

Dear Heavenly Father I commit my son to you today and forever. Help him acknowledge and accept responsibility for his addiction. He is weak but with you he can be strong. Lord I've tried as a mother to do the best I could for both my kids but I somehow seem to have failed. Forgive me Father for my sins but spare my kids. Give them both a chance to be better and help them both to commit themselves to you. My son needs you Lord to strengthen him to overcome his addiction. Bless him Lord and forgive him. I offer him up to you Lord for you to take control over his life and to condemn SATAN into the burning fires of hell. Help my daughter to forgive her brother and help them to mend their relationship and our relationship as a family. I surrender all to you Lord, I cannot cope on my own - show me and lead me and us in your way. Thank you Lord

Oh Lord, as Jesus suffered on the cross that we may live I thank Thee for Tommy's suffering that others may come to know the right and wrong. I also pray for all parents to seek your wisdom and knowledge and help the parents to love their children and show their children the right path. Oh Lord let the love of your son, Jesus shine upon each parents heart and help them to use Jesus love upon their children that they may come to know of your son Jesus and glorify your name. Amen.

Okay, I am just writing in regards to your loss. I myself have struggled with addiction for 15 years. I wonder sometimes how I am still here.
I used to blame my addictions on my troubled teenage years which led to probation, incarceration which followed me for 10 years of my adult life. I got out of a state run rehab, and after care that lasted 15 months the last time, which was just under 3 years ago. After stealing, lying and eventually burning bridges I will never be able to restore, I came back into the world.
I am a very bright individual, that never cared about much, but had potential. When I left the half way house, I was working at a carwash making $7.50 a hour. Today, I am married, I have a beautifal one year old daughter, a young beautifal wife, and a six figure income. Oh and by the way, I am using again!
The point I am trying to make is regardless of having nothing, and having everything, I am still trying to destroy myself. I am mean to my wife(mentally not physically) I have a job I love but I am still unhappy. The good part is I am not in denial, and I seemy downfalls , sometimes I just feel that God wants me to end my life, but I know that is the devil and I just take a breath and try to think of my family, and what I need to do.
I guess I am trying to say God took your Tommy because he saw a need to use your son for things just like this, for me to stumble across this web-site and find you ,Tommy and the others who have taken time to see the need.
My heart is with you and hopefully I will take with me from this as you get from the circle of people who show they care.
God bless, and thank you Tommy for maybe helping me understand the true meaning of understanding.
Brandon-Dallas,TX
