For those with chronic diseases and illnesses
Chronic Diseases Prayer Circle

This circle is for all who suffer with chronic diseases and disorders and in need of prayer and support from others.

There are many who are afflicted with chronic diseases such as lupus, MS, fibromylagia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome and others, or may have children or other family members and friends who suffer with these conditions. The prayer circle can be here for the many ups and downs that come with these illnesses, as well as the tests that most have to go through when having a flare or time of activity in their symptoms. This can be a place to come for prayers when support is needed and also to give thanks and praise to God for remissions and times that we feel well.

BettyMed:
Donna is now in the arms of the Lord, and her suffering is over. May God bring comfort to her loved ones.

lingittle: My prayers are for your sister with MS and her pastor husband who has had heart surgery and may need more. Let us all pray that the Lord give strength to both of them as they face the burdens that have now.

Lively - my prayers are with you in the struggle you are having to walk and for the arthritis or low bone density in your hips. May God be with you and that you will continue to do as well as you have been before this setback. Thank you for the prayers for my son's wedding. I will not be able to be seen at the Mayo Clinic until May 7th, but I am believing that our Lord will answer prayers that things will stay in control until then, and that I can enjoy the most wonderful time for my son, his marriage to a lovely girl.

As we near Easter, I wish all who share the Christian faith a time of rebirth and that we all remember that these bodies that are sometimes in such pain and suffering will one day be like new when we go to meet our Lord. For any of our prayer partners who may be of the Jewish faith, I hope that their celebration of Passover also gave them peace and a deeper closeness with God, Our Father in Heaven who does care for us, loves us and is with us through the times of pain and trials that we experience. God Bless Everyone

Love & Prayers,
Dolphin

my prayer is for a very special person in my life who I have met on the net in a recovery chatroom I go into. He has hepatitisC, and is very very ill. The long term effects of drug addiction has taken its toll, even tho he has been clean for seven years now. Oh God, healer of all mankind, may you touch my friend Ken in a special way at this time, may he feel your presence. May you mend his back, his vocal chords and free his body of pain and the hepC virus. I ask this in Jesus precious name oh God. He is yours. Amen.

Dear friends, my Dad is 66 years old and in hisa final stages of emphysema. It is a struggle for him to live day to day. We have now had to get Hospice involved for the doctor sais he has only 2 months or less left. Although I know our Lord Jesus will be the one to decide this. It is a real hard time for us all especially my mother, please pray for her and us all to have strength to get through this. They have been married 48 years so you can imagine how much they are trying to comfort each other. I have been working on things I want the minister to say at his funeral when the time comes. I cannot seem to come up with the right scripture. I want something that will help our sad hearts. Any ideals? Thanks so much Diane

Dear Dolphin, I have been reading through this site and wanted to thank you for doing this. I am very interested in how you're feeling. I too, have lupus and I will be praying for you. I know how hard it is to travel and how difficult even "good" stress can be (your sons wedding). I'm also so sorry about loosing Charlie. our pets can be our dear companions, especially during illness. I know you miss him. I will be praying for you during the weeks ahead. ----Kelly

Thank you for this list. I've had astma for as long as I can remeber and that's not so bad. Last year I was diagnosed with Hep C and that was a shock because I didn't fit into any of the risk groups. My viral load levels have been going down not up so I'm not currently experiencing my ill effects because it was caught in time. I just went in two weeks ago for a viral load check and to get my lymph nodes looked at and I may have Hodkins Lymphoma or some other disease affecting the lymph nodes and I cried in that office. The tests came back and i don't have mono or TB but they'll have to do a biopsy to find out for sure what I've got. I just wonder when enough illnesses are enough. I know that don't have affects nearly as debilitating as many of you,but I'm scared. I just got married a year and a half ago and we don't have kids and I wonder if I should have kids and give them potentially sickly bodies. Frankly, I'm just plain scared and afraid of what I would do if I got worse and had to give up working and doing things. I'm also praying for people as I read the listings thank you for your prayers and I'll be praying to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for as many people on the list as I can.

Love and God's peace to all of you.
Craig

Dear Craig, having the doctor say that something's wrong and something's wrong again is frightening and frustrating. I've been there. Try to hold onto a couple of thoughts (they've helped me). One, the tests are not always right.People get false positives all the time. Two, all you have to do is get through this moment. It's hard, but don't focus on the future. Set a goal of living through the next 5 minutes--the next hour. Three, embrace hope. Wonderful things happen, cures are discovered, we find strength we never knew we had. Four, cry, be angry and have the occasional pity party when you need to. God understands. I will pray for you. -----Kelly

Hello All. I have been under the weather for a few weeks, but today I am up and about. This is the first place I log in. Before email, and any chats. I call it my moments of peace.

FitzBella91... I too have lupus and would love to chat with you. I have a webpage to help you get to know me better and my life with Lupus.

Karen35...
I keep you in my prayers with your struggle for answers.

My Prayer Circle...
Thank you for leaving your request here for us all to help. A burden shared lightens the load.
May the Lord Keep Us All Safe, and Hear our prayers.

Hello and God Bless to my friends and prayer warriors in the prayer circle!! I have been praying for you, even when I am not on the computer.
Dolphin: I am sorry that your health is so bad, I pray for you all the time. I believe that there will be a great healing in the future!! Healings can come through medical science, or not, as God sees fit. I will pray diligently about your trip to the Mayo Clinic. Congratulations on your son getting married, I hope the wedding goes well. The starting of a new life together is such a beautiful experience. My parents will celebrate their 50th anniversary on July 14. I am honoring this event with a big celebration at my church. Please help me pray for a period of relief in the pain and swelling in my neck, back, and hips during this time; it is important to me to hostess this celebration. I feel very blessed to have parents who have given each other 50 beautiful years together. God is so good!!!

Craig: Keep your spirits up, we will pray for your health problems. Please remember that we serve a powerful God. My dad was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease three years ago, after having a large cancerous growth and lympth node removed from his neck.. There was no evidence of spreading after the MRI, bone marrow tests, etc. came back.. A year later he developed another cancerous tumor, had it removed, and again no evidence of spreading.. It has now been two years, and he is as healthy as many men much younger than he. He hunts and fishes, does his own yard work and repairs, and generally lives a healthy, good life.. He and my mom will celebrate 50 years together this summer.. I tell you this to give you encouragement and hope. The doctors, especially the oncologist, had painted a very bleak picture for his future, but they didn't understand the power of prayer in our family, friends, and church prayer warriors.. We will pray for you. God can overcome all illnesses.

To the rest of you: May God bless you and your families.. Let us continue to pray for each other. This last month has been difficult for me; I have had some pretty good days, but also some really bad ones. I depend on your prayers as I search for a doctor in this area who is familiar with Fibromyalgia and who can help me a little with symptoms. My doctor is very kind, but very unknowledgable on the subject, and therefore, not much help.

God bless and keep each of you. Love in Christ, Cheryl

Dear Dolphin,
I feel that you really pray over all these prayer requests. Thank God for men and women that intercede for others. Continue to pray for me and my husband. I know that God can heal.
I went to a crusade last week and saw many healed. God is no respector of persons. I am believing!
My husband has had back surgery also and much like you in great pain. I believe he has another disc that is (behind scar tissue) from the first surgery the doctors give no hope.
He is down in his knees really bad and forces himself to keep moving.
This illness scares me in that my own back hurts. I know that Satan is the author of fear and not God.
Please pray for my healing and Gods protection.
On a good note I am going to be the grandma of twins. At the young age of 45.
God Bless you and I will remember you also.

My name is Corinne, and I am the one who posted the two prayers for two friends of mind, Karen & Ken, who both have hepetitus C. Just to give you an up-date, Karen is getting better, Ken had major back surgery, plus throat surgery, and his liver & kidney biopsy did not come out very good. So I am asking you to please keep them in your continued prayers, thank you God.

I feel selfish about posting a prayer for myself here, but this is my place of comfort, and I feel so close to each of you.

Christians please keep me in you thoughts. Tomorrow I go back to the Dr.
We will decide then if I am going ahead with the surgery.

I'm trying to get in with a team of Dr.'s in Houston that are more educated in Lupus. They keep up with all the latest medical forums.

It's a long way from home, but God I hope They can help.

I'm currently taking 27 different medications and ended up in the hospital last week for a whole new problem associated w/ the Lupus.

God please let me find answers and the strength to keep searching.

In Christ,
Lyssa

My Christian Family.

I read through all the posts and let me tell you that I have much to be grateful for. I know we are all needing God's Will to heal the sick and help so many that have lost their way.

We seek a miracle, at best, and a moment of peace to morn those we've lost.

May the Grace of God be with you all, and carry you through the pain that hides within.

Yours in Christ,
Lyssa

Well.... The Dr. appt didn't go very well. I have Avasulac Necrosis in the left hip. It's really a bad side effect of the Lupus and years of being on steroids. Scheduled surgery for Total Hip Replacement on July 10th. I'll be in hospital for a week then home to recover for 3 months.

I think I must still be in shock. I turn 37 on July 11th. This will be an unforgetable birthday.

Please keep me in your thoughts between now and then.

Thank you one and all for your support.

In Christ,
Lyssa

God thank you for all the blessings of life and all the prayers you have answered for me personally! Thank you for my family and for sparing my husband and giving him back his strength and health and putting him in remission. My prayer is now that you would go into the homes of the people who are suffering and be with them and guide them in the directions you would have them go. Go where the "death angel" has visited and comfort the loved ones left behind. All these things I ask in your name and for your sake. AMEN

Good Morning all fellow friends-

I have rec'd some good news and need some prayers to keep it this way. The reason my hips my be troubling me is because my prosthetic leg was not aligned correctly. After much use this can happen. So now hopefully with the Grace of God and more of your prayers, I may not need a hip alignment or replacemnt. I want to thank you all who has kept me in their prayers while awaiting this news. I was afraid that if I needed any of these surgeries, it would have or could have damaged my heart or my kidney with the different meds I probably would have been given.

For all of you I offer this prayer-

O Heavnely Father, please keep your light shining over us all and guide us into the right direction in believing in you ever more so. In the name of Your loving son, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
