You are not alone! I have been where you are, and it's been a rocky road; but rather than to feed the problem, each and every day I thank GOD for giving me the time to share precious moments with him. I concentrate on the areas of my life where he has pruned me of the old and has helped me to begin anew, just like a flower before it begans to bloom. Then I take time to magnify the LORD, by giving him all the Glory, Honor and Praise due his name; for constantly blessing me, guiding me, and continuously leading me through trying situations and troubled times. And, each time I praise him, he blesses me!
So, for those of you who think you are alone, rethink that thought! God is with you. He has already heard your pray and answered you, he is just waiting on you to take the first step. State what you want, give GOD the praise as though you have already received it; live in love, then stand by faith, it will come to pass. May God Bless you and keep you all the days of your life. Hi, I was just browsing through the beliefnet site and saw your prayer "lights alone". I Just wanted to let you know that I felt your love in my heart as I read your prayer. It is very strong.

You seem so unselfish and I strive to be that way. With Gods help, I can be less selfish everyday.

Lord, I pray for all the wonderful people who have posted to this prayer circle. Reading what they have written fills me with hope and a knowing that there are still wonderful people out there. I pray that I will have the strength to learn to love myself and to revel in being alone. I pray that although I feel lonely, for that loneliness not to manifest into selfishness.

I come here today asking for your prayers. I am feeling terribly lonely and alone. Feeling frustration at my inability to move forward and the sense that no particularly cares. I am certain this is self-pity trying to get the best of me, and I would ask that I climb out of my self-pity and move forward. Thank you all! God Bless

I thank you for the prayer. I have secluded myself and now need help in geting back out into society. I pray that the power of others praying will supplement my own prayers and help me to make friends.

I truly believe that this is God's way of making us reach out to others who are hurting like ourselves. Please pray for me and my lonely household as I will pray for all of you. He will find another father; Libralight whose daughter and mom are experiencing challenges; Zenandme who is feeling depressed, and Tiffany7878 who is suffering with asthma for a lot of years. I believe there is a cure for asthma because I started exercising and my asthma disappeared. I believe every asthma sufferer has to find their cure. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.

Hello. This is my first time to add a prayer. Been reading all the prayers. Truly inspiring indeed. I know the feeling of lonliness. I am 52 and now living by myself. Separated from my husband since June of 2001. Trying to save up enough money to get a divorce. Please say a prayer for me. May God Bless each and everyone who lives alone.

I humbly ask the Lord to give me friends. I need them so much to share not only my concerns, but also my happiness.When I get them, I shall be so immensly thankful to You.

Reading the prayers of people from all walks of life really helps me know that I am not alone. May God hear your concerns, your hurts, your burdens and may he be with each and every one of you. Thank you Lord for your presence. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for loving us even when sometimes we don't love ourselves. I know I speak for many when I say, I can't walk without you holding my hand. I can't speak without you leading the way. I can't be me without you. Lord, help our poor, our hungry, our brothers and sisters, our children who need your guidance and your love. Be with those who cry as well as those who laugh. I too know how it is to be alone.I was scared this week about money .But God is with us and uses all things for good. I pray for all of you...Your angel is with you and upholding you. I am so thankful I found this site...

after reading some of your stories, i feel as though my pain is to small and petty to warrant your prayers...my health is good, my family, altho not close, would be there if needed them, and altho in debt, my job is secure...but several weeks ago i found my boyfriend, with whom i lived for a year and hoped to marry, in bed with a teenager who professed to be my friend...we still love each other, but are now apart, and i find myself living alone in a huge city with no friends or family members nearby...not as bad as other's ordeals of death, divorce, poor health - and i'm grateful that i have been spared those things, but the tears keep falling...please keep me in your prayers, and i'll remember you in mine
