For those with chronic diseases and illnesses
Chronic Diseases Prayer Circle

This circle is for all who suffer with chronic diseases and disorders and in need of prayer and support from others.

There are many who are afflicted with chronic diseases such as lupus, MS, fibromylagia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome and others, or may have children or other family members and friends who suffer with these conditions. The prayer circle can be here for the many ups and downs that come with these illnesses, as well as the tests that most have to go through when having a flare or time of activity in their symptoms. This can be a place to come for prayers when support is needed and also to give thanks and praise to God for remissions and times that we feel well.

God Bless all who are challenged by chronic disease. God Bless their path for like damaging accidents that are delivered to ones doorstep it is hard for the rest of the world to truly comprehend such suffering until the great chakra of compassion is opened in all of evolving humanity and we awaken to understand our shared journeys.
One can only pray that the affected ones know their suffering is sacred and the higher beings of mercy bow to their daily suffering and so it is here on the sacred wheel of life some lives are blessed with plenty and some are blessed with suffering. We who are here in life find the mystery of who is to suffer more and who is to suffer less one of the greatest
mysterys of all. We give thanks to the Creator for the presence of the Higher Beings of Mercy who watch over all suffering and though invisible to the human eye hold the hand and heart of all who suffer. God help us to open our minds and hearts into unconditional compassion for each and all of us. Amen.

I'm joining in prayer with you. My sister has Polyarteritis Nodosa(PAN). It's very hard for her. There's so little known (by man) about her illness and she can't tolerate the steroids so her flare-ups are more often as they try different methods of treatment. She's a young women and has lost all her "worldly possessions"(good job, nice apt. car, friends, etc.)and most devastating to her, her mobility. She now walks with cane, crutches and some months, she's totally wheelchair bound.
Father, I come to You in agreement with my brothers and sisters in this prayer group asking for Your healing for the wounded; Peace for the restless and JOY for the broken-hearted. We're standing on Your promises. You said in Your Word tha You would give us the desires of our heart if we but keep Your commandments. We desire healing for the sick and suffering. You are our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters,.. Bless these Your people Dear GOD. Comfort them, keep them in Your perfect peace. Heal them and they will be healed. Give them each day their daily bread and Feed them till they want no more. We ask this prayer in Jesus Name. Amen

Thank you for the encouraging messages. It really helps to stem the loneliness of a chronic condition.

I have three friends who are suffering with chronic conditions. One friend has lupus. Another friend has to have a liver transplant. Still another friend, who is married to the man who needs the liver transplant, is suffering from colon cancer. Her mother died in November 2000 from colon cancer. Her mother's four brothers have all died from colon cancer. Please pray that God will touch these three lives and give them strength, hope, and ease from pain.

Thank you for this wonderful website. I, like rhedat, just found it and I think that it is great.

May God's blessings pour down on every one of you!

What we have to remember is that God never promised us no pain or no illness, but God promised always to be with us and to help us through it all. God doesn't cause it, God doesn't approve of it, but God feels it with each one of us. I have rheumatoid arthritis and am learning to live with this drastic change in my life with the support of my church family and friends. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I have not been here for awhile, and when I logged in and saw how many have joined the circle of prayer, it made me feel so blessed to see those who have come here for prayers for themselves, family and friends. One of our circle of friends made a good point - that we are not promised that there will never be any pain or illness. but He did promise to be with us and to help us bear what we have to; and, I feel that joining with others in praying and giving support means alot also. I want each and everyone who comes here to know that I am keeping all your needs in my prayers, as I am sure you will do. May God give us all strength and if it be his wish, healing in whatever way is needed: physical, emotional, and spiritual, and in whatever way we worship and in whatever belief system. In love and concern for each other and our loved ones, we are all one with each other.

I have just discovered this site and think it is wonderful. I would like to also pray to God that all the people who suffer daily from chronic problems find relief, strength, and courage. May their guardian angels guide them through each and every day.
I would like to ask anyone reading to also include a prayer for my family. My husband suffers from several different chronic ailments - stomach, kidney, lungs, seizures, etc. Something bothers him every day. He is sick today. It is about to ruin our business. I fear we will go bankrupt. We have borrowed so much money. No insurance now for doctors. And the worst part is that it has affected our marriage. We are not close anymore, and I hate that most of all.

Please, anyone reading this, say a prayer that God guide us in the right direction, and pray for the healing of our bodies and our hearts. I have heard that the power of prayer can be awesome and has saved lives.

God bless you all and thank you for your time.
