Prayer Circles

Heavenly Father, I stand in faith with portlandlady and ask that you touch these lives with Your all powerful love. Open up many avenues for employment for portlandlady so that she may continue on her journey through life filled with confidence and security. Touch her grandmother with Your healing grace and, if it is your will, heal her from the cancer that has invaded her body. Keep her free of pain and give her the strength to fight this battle. Lord, I ask You to touch the very soul of this father and remove any and all need to find refuge in alcohol from him. Let Your love be the light that he follows when times are tough, when burdens seem unbearable. Bring peace into his life...the peace that we know from loving You and living by Your words. Lord, I ask that You bring a total healing to this family. Keep them safely in Your fold. Amen. God bless you and thank you for the prayers for my daughter. Thank you for your kind words. I do live in Portland, OR. I also appreciate your praying for me. Sometimes it feels as if noone is listening. Lord, I pray that you help my family right now as we struggle. Please hold my grandmother in your palm and heal her from all that ails her. Help my daddy, Lord, who is stuggling with a horrible disease, but doesn't realize it. Please Lord, help me find a job where I am happy and can contribute to my family.

Father, touch these lives with Your healing grace. Open many avenues for Portlandlady to explore as she searches for work. Place in her path an opportunity to be productive and happy at the same time. Give her the tools necessary to make a good impression at interview. Keep her strong and in good spirits even if things don't work out in her time, but Yours instead. Continue to watch over her grandmother as she struggles with this devastating health crisis. Ease her pain when it comes and give her strength when she is too tired to carry on. Hold her tightly in Your loving embrace and grant her peace. Help this father with his battle. Give him the tools to fight this disease and remove any temptation that may come his way. We ask these things in Your name. Amen.

Be with my family at this time as we are stuggling. Please bless my marriage and help it to grow. Help me find employment, Lord, I have been struggling so much. Help my father Lord who has a horrible disease and yet he can't see it. Let us have a meaningful thanksgiving with my grandmother and hopefully make her forget she has cancer and least for one day.

Lord, I pray that You will make an immediate intervention in the lives of this family. Let this woman find meaningful work, let her father recognize the devastation of his disease, and touch this grandmother with Your healing light. We thank You Lord for all that You do for us. Your love is so complete and Your grace so encompassing. amen.

Father, I pray that the whisper of Your love is heard by this family and the the power of Your word is felt all around them. I pray that this family's prayers are answered and their needs met. Father, I ask that You move mountains in the lives of this family so that they may see positive progress in their lives. Father, bless this family and bless them richly. Amen.

I pray that you will help me to lean not on my own understanding, but on yours. Please help me to have faith when things are going so wrong. Let me know you are here Lord, watching over me and my family. Please help my father with his alcoholis. Help him even to admit he has a problem. I am so worried about his health. Please help me find a job Lord. I have looked everywhere. Help me find a door... Thank you Lord for what you have given me. A loving husband, a roof over my head and plenty to fill my stomach. Thank you Lord for all that you have blessed me with. For new friends like Marahet whom always seem to be praying for me when I need it.

I understand somewhat the fear Portlandlady is feeling over finding a job. It is scary to be unemployed during this time, so I ask that You guide her feet along the pathway which will lead her to a good job where she is stable and spiritually content. Give her the patience and the heavenly wisdom to wait for things in Your time, and to not get discouraged when things don't seem to be happening when she thinks they should be. ;)

Heavenly Father, I ask that You open many doors for Anne...doors that will lead her to a good job so that she can help provide for her family. We thank You father, for her loving husband and the fact that she has a roof over her head and is safe and not hungry in these difficult times. Father, touch the heart of her father who fights a terrible battle everyday with alcohol. Give him the courage to admit that he has this problem and the committment to fight his addiction. Father, watch over Anne's grandmother as she undergoes treatment for her cancer. Keep her free from pain and surround her with the love of family and good friends. Father, please ease the burdens of this family. Keep them strong in the face of adversity. Give them peace, Father. Amen.

Thank you for these prayers from complete strangers. They always seem to come when I need them the most. Of course you are always there, I just need to open my heart and listen.
Thank you Lord for everything that you have given me. A wonderful husband and loving family, plenty of food and shelter. It's hard to remember that I have so much compared to so many.
Please be with my grandmother now as she is going through her chemo. Help her to be strong. Please bless all those who take care of her and my grandfather on a daily basis.
Bless my father who struggles with a horrible disease and has no idea how it affects my mother or my siblings and I.

I will include you in my prayers. I have prayer warriors here at Beliefnet such as Marahet, Carefree, and faiths_fire7. I have seen their prayers for you,and I am right here also for you.
I understand about the alcoholism. My husband has been in AA for almost three years now. This was a blessing that he even went and is following the plan. I know how it can destroy lives. I also had a sister that began to drink a lot years ago, and in 1996 she killed herself because she found out she was very ill. I will pray that the Lord heals Anne's grandmother.
As for your unemployment situation, I understand that too. I was let go of a job 3 years ago, and the one thing that I learned from that, was to never ever let depression rule over you. You have to take care of yourself! A job will come to you in God's plan. my motto is let go, and let God.......Peace to you!!!!

Thank you for these wonderful women! What a unexpected blessing they have been. Thank you marilynangel for your prayers. Lord, please be with my father right now as he struggles with the death of my grandfather. During christmas I think it is even harder for him to cope with his death and because of that drinks even more. Lord, please help him to realize that drinking is not a solution to the problems he is trying to deal with. Please be with my grandmother who is in the hospital now because of a blood clot in her leg. Help her to recover so she can continue with her chemo treatments. And Lord please open up an avenue of employment for me. Help me never to lose sight of what is important. In your name I pray. Amen.

Please guide Portlandlady down a path that will lead her to a job that will fulfill her financial and spiritual needs. This is all happening for a reason, because You have a better idea in mind, and please help her to see that during the moments when she is feeling depressed. Help her to deal with the stress of her grandmother's illness, and her father's addiction. Please dear God, help her father to break his addiction to alcohol. Open his eyes to how it hurts not only his body, but his soul and the spirits of those around him. Please heal her grandmother and help her to regain her strength. Help Portlandlady to never lose sight of what is important. :)

FAther, we ask that You welcome Portlandlady's grandfather into Your kingdom where he is free of all the earthly ties that bound him. Let him watch over his family from above and keep them safe. Bring his son some peace in knowing that his father is no longer suffering and is not alone, but is at peace with the others who have gone on before us to prepare our heavenly home. Father, place Your healing touch upon this grandmother and rid her body of the blood clot that threatens her health right now. Father, we ask that, if it is Your will, this grandmother be healed. Father, please lead Portlandlady to the avenues that will lead her to a satisfying and decent paying job...these are difficult economical times and we are all struggling, but we know that You will never give us more than we can bear, even though the burden seems so heavy at times. We trust in Your wisdom, help us to accept Your time. Father, thank You for the blessing of "knowing" Portlandlady and her family. Amen.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I find peace during trying times by reading the Bible. After my sister died, I could have burned the Bible, because I was angry with God. I had to realize it is not his fault. I came to realize that he is there for your needs.
Portlandlady this is one of my favorites: Then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.

Father,
Please ease the pain of Portlandlady's grandmother and her husband's grandfather. Please open her dad's eyes to the harm that he is doing himself and his family through his addiction to alcohol. Father, let Your loving spirit heal them all from their afflictions. Guide Portlandlady's footsteps as she looks for a job. Lead her into a job that will be financially and spiritually fulfilling. Give her hope, Christ, and the peace and joy that only You can give.

Todd's grandfather is with you now. Please keep him in your loving arms. Maybe he and my grandfather can become good friends. Please help my husband's family as they struggle through this death. Although it is the best thing, it is hard with christmas right around the corner. Please keep us safe as we travel to the funeral and back home for christmas. Lord, please be with our family now.
