Prayer Circles

Lord, I pray for the victims and their family members who were involved in today's terrible tragedy. I pray that they would seek refuge in You and You alone may Your Word go forth to them and may they repent and turn to You for forgiveness and eternal life. I pray that as a nation we would repent of all the heinous sins we commit before Your face everyday Lord. I pray that You would bring about revival out of this tragedy. I thank You Lord that I can rest assured that You are in control of everything. And even though we may be wondering how anything good could come out of this we can be sure that You know all the devastation and that You have a purpose for it. I pray that You would strengthen President Bush in his faith. I pray that You would grant him knowledge and wisdom in this. That You would guide him and direct him in all his decisions. That justice would be meeted out according to Your will Father. Help believers everywhere to turn to You and trust in You to know what You would have them do. That You Lord would receive all the glory and honor and praise. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen

DEAR LORD, THIS AWFUL ACT OF HATE IS WEIGHING HEAVY ON MY HEART TONIGHT, AS WELL AS EVERYONE IN AMERICA. LORD PLACE YOUR HAND DOWN ON OUR NATION, HEAL THOSE WHO CAN BE HEALED,HELP US AS WE TRY TO FACE TOMORROW AND GO ON WITH OUR LIVES WITHOUT FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. BE WITH OUR CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY, THEY ARE YOUNG AND INNOCENT, HELP THEM IN SOME WAY TO NOT BE AFRAID OF SCHOOL AND ALL PLACES THEY MAY VENTURE. AND MOST OF ALL LORD BE WITH THE GRIEVING MOMS, DADS, HUSBANDS, WIVES, SONS, DAUGHTERS,FRIENDS, OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO YOUR KINGDOM, FOR WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE IN A BETTER PLACE BUT, EACH AND EVERYONE WILL BE MISSED DEARLY HERE ON EARTH. I pray God gives strength to the people of these great United States. How often we take our lives for granted. I mourn for all those who have died today. I pray for peace and courage for those family members remaining who must continue their lives. I thank God for the caring, loving people that have helped another person today. Thank you for my family. Please let them know how much I care for them. Forgive me for not being the best that I could be in the past. Give me strength and show me how to serve you better. Lord Jesus I have talked to you often today. I know that there is a reason for all things. And in time we will see your reasoning. But until then will you please guide us & give our leaders & the people who need your strength and wisdom to overcome this tragedy. To give those whom have done this horrible deed to our Nation, what they deserve. And to bring us closer to you my God!

Lord, pray for the comfort of the families who have lossed loved ones and for the rescue of those who may still be alive. Bless us with your love and help us to come together as a country united under one God to save us from the evils of others and to find comfort in Your love. I am very disturbed by this tragedy and feel that our country, which is most powerful, is now most vunerable at this time. Guide our leaders to do Your Will! ~Amen

Give everyone stength and wisdom for now is the time they really need it. I pray for those who have suffered any lost ones and that they can grieve and mourn peacefully with you. I pray that our goverment will find who has done this and that they will get what they deserve. Give our nation the strength to come together and help one another in all possible ways. I pray for those who have lost loved ones, friends, and family in this tragedy and the many who have been injured. Please lift them up and help to know that you are with them. Please give our government the knowledge to find the ones who are responsible and to do the right thing. Help me to know how I can assist in this time of tragedy. Amen

Lord Jesus Christ, Please surround those who have lost loved ones... especially on my heart this morning... the children who have lost parents in this attack. Lord, surround them with your love and peace. Place caring, kind adults in their lives to guide them through their grief. Also, I pray for the victims of the attack who are reportedly still in the rubble... alive... and calling 911 and loved ones on their cell phones. Lord, give them strength and courage. Surround them with your angels Lord. All this we place in your hands. Amen.

Dear Lord, I pray that you keep those alive in the rubble with strength and courage for whatever they might have to face. I pray for comfort in the lives of the families affected by this tragedy, for the political figures involved. I pray that you are with these people during this tragedy. Lord hear my pray, I thank you for your love and kindess for your grace. Father Help those who are suffering to see your light to remember it if they survive on this earth and to follow it if they should pass. Father give us all strength and knowledge to understand your ways and to come together as your children of this entire world. Lord I pray that as your children we can work together to build and care for your palace which you have provided for us. If it should come to war I pray that our world leaders lead with your guidence in their hearts. Please give strength and understanding to those who may remain to love and serve with your grace, peace to those who may be chosen to walk with you beyond, and guidence to those who with hold anger and fear.

My prayers for the victims of this tragedy are continuous. We are all victims. Our sense of safety in this world has been shaken. But our trust in Him will never waver. Now more than ever our nation and it's leaders need our prayers. We have an obligation. We believe in God, we believe in His power, so we must use our faith to bring about a positive end. In all things there is a blessing. These people do not have to have died in vain. Let us trust God, and receive His comfort. Let us draw ever closer to Him.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your blessings. Thank you for not allowing things to be as bad as they could be. Thank you for those that are survivors. Thank you for the peace you have kept among the streets of New York and Washington. Thank you for our leaders. Strengthen us during this time of tragedy. Protect us from evil and give comfort to your people. Help us during the days and weeks to come. Protect the rescuers, nurses, firemen, and policemen who are trying to help others. Please touch those who disaster has touched. Be with them and hold them in your arms. Because only you can easy their pain in this time of trials and tribulations. We ask this in Jesus and his Fatehers name. AMEN

There are no words that I know of, that can express what consumes my heart these days. I am a Christian, a member of the Salvation Army my entire life, though not always listening to God as I should. I hear him now. I know that God will heal the hearts of all the families who suffered these great losses, as well as the hearts of those who know God, but does not always listen to him. America is the 'Great Nation', and we will stand strong as long as the American people do not continue to try and shut God out of our lives. The Ten Commandments in schools is something that needs to be returned, and prayer among our students allowed. This country was formed thru the graces of God, and it will only stand strong if we reconfirm our beliefs, and make changes to our lives, not only today, but for the rest of our days. God is not temporary. He is with us always. My prayer is just that the eyes of, not only Americans, but everyone around the world, be opended thru this tragedy, and that our hearts be opened as well. Good will prevail, and God is good. I have no doubts that the people responsible for these acts, as well as the people who support these acts, will be punished accordingly. I have confidence in our leaders, and I know that they will act as Jesus would if he walked the earth. I welcome our stance to defend ourselves here in America. It is long overdue. God helps those who help themselves. In Jesus name I pray for all the victims, their families, the volunteers, the people of the United States, all the nations around the world who join us in this time of sorrow and confusion, and last, the people who committed these acts and those who supported them. They will need the most prayers for what they face in the days to come. God Bless Us All! Amen.

Dear God,
Please wrap your great and loving arms around the families of those who were killed at our Pentagon and the World Trade Center and those who were on the planes which were overtaken and used to do a great evil to our Wonderful Nation. Send peace and calm to them now at what must be the most horrendous time of their lives. God, Bless Now and Continue to bless all the People Who are Out there working amidst all this destruction and chaos..give them the strength they need to carry out what has to be a heart wrenching job. Keep their spirts and energies HIGH, keep the supplies they need coming in, Keep their stomachs full and their health in good condition.
Help the People of our GREAT NATION to heal and to be able to go forward, Yes we have been wonded deeply, just give us the strength we need to get through the forthcoming times by protecting us, your word say's that you will not put anything upon us that we cannot endure. Lord protect our Service Men and Women keep them safe from harm, give them Strength to do what is asked of them by our Government. Lastly Lord I ask that you give guidance and wisdom to President Bush during this trying time, he has a job to do, help him and give him the strengh to do what is right for our Country.
