let the healing hands of the lord be upon your child for he is undoubtedly very upset. Jesus, we just leave it up to you for you are the only one that understands what this child's needs. May you give this mother the strength to cope. Let it not be our will, but your will be done, in your precious name I pray. AMEN

Lord, help Robert to see that he is loved, that you have not deserted him. You never desert any of your children, partcularly the younger ones. Help him find friends among the other children. He is not alone, the number of children of divorce is rising everyday. Make him happy again and teach him not to be violent with his mother or misbehave in school.

my child seems like an angry child too. it is very disturbing and heartbreaking. maybe with gods help both will be ok.

Oh, I do pray for Robert. My son is emotionally challenged--he is in e.d. classes in high school. May God shine his light upon all children, suffering and not, and give them hope and comfort.

Please Dear Lord ,hear my prayer for young Robert who feels love lacking in his life.Help him to see that he always has you and his Mom and with all that love he can never be alone.Help Mom to see that some struggles must happen for there to be growth and allow her to let Robert have his grief.Help Mom to remember that between the two of you ,Robert will flourish.God Bless them and keep them in your loving grace.Amen

I will also keep Robert in my prayers. I also have a Robert. He has always been a difficult child both, whether fighting over school or just emotional upsets. I am 'my' Robert's step-mom and his real mom is an alcoholic. But, trust me, no matter how hard it may seem, keep praying and you will get through these times. Trust me and trust in the lord.

May GOD be always with you.
I feel that GOD is very near right now.
He will answer if only you would pray to Him.My tag's initials mean What Would Jesus Do? There's an acronymn which answers that too. It's P.U.S.H. - Pray Until Something Happens. Just as Jesus did, so should you do. We are all called to be followers of GOD. This means following His example. I know it seems like GOd isn't listening but believe me, He is.

Dear Jesus, Help this little boy to cope with the changes, sadness, and empty times in his life. Send him someone to fill the space with love, attention and caring. Be with his mother and help her to guide him and lead him to sources that will fulfill his need. In Jesus Name. Much, much love to you as I have been in your shoes. You will get thru this.

I would highly recommend trying the Big Brother/Sister organization to see if they can match him up with a male that could be a mentor and provide moral support in these trying times. Also, there should be local community groups (try craigslist.com) in your area that have single parents that you could get to know/spend time with to help your child see that he is not alone and for you to get to know adults that are in the same situation, because this time is trying for you as well. You can encourage him to get involved in sports at school, playing an instrument in the band or joining the student body as well to help keep him busy. And lastly, if there is an adult male family member or friend that you could encourage to spend time with your son and do extracurricular activities (i.e. take him to a game, bowling, shoot pool, etc.) with him, it may do wonders for his esteem.

Dear God....please help this young child who is struggling with abandonment and all of the confusion that goes with parents splitting up. Help him to know that he is special in your eyes and in the eyes of his Mother and Father. Send someone his way who will understand what he needs to work out his emotions without being labeled as bad. Help everyone around him to understand where he is coming from as his Mother has understood. Please with his Mom because you know that we Moms want the very best for our children and we suffer right along next to them. Be with his entire family and help them endure and rise out of these troubling times to unite as a strong family with you as the center. Amen

I too have a son named Robert. He was and is a challenging young man. He is 23 and so bitter. I love him and I am always there for him and his little girl. He is so full of bitterness and animosity. He can be so cruel. I ask that God help us with our sons. May God give us the strength to keep going and to keep lifting them up in prayer. May God reach into their hearts and grant them peace from their pain. May God heal you, too, as you try to be strong for everyone.

Dear Lord let Robert heal emotionally, let mom seek expert help, before it is too late give her strength and guidance, the whole family would benefit from someone to talk to-preferably a christian counselor, let the people who need to come into their lives do so. Lord you know their needs and hurts, please bless and heal. In Jesus name I pray amen

Father, we add our name to the above and ask for a mighty heling to take place for all those mentioned above and for my own brother - who has severe problems and seems to have slipped through the net. We pray that all may receive the help they need and that families are given some help in coping. I know my brother needs help and I ask Father that it is given before he is much oldre and it is too late. Many of these children are so talented, and they are not even able to explain themselves on councilling. please walk before them and with them and soften the hearts of those who will not listen and seem to "blame the families for everything". Every parent knows when something is just not right with their children. I leave this prayer in Faitn, in the name of Jesus Christ AMEN!

Robert, may you be filled with the light that exposes evil, filled with the light that evil flees from, filled with the light that illuminates you in your hiding, so you may come from hiding and bathe in the joy of the light. I know this is very difficult for you and your family...I also know that there have been times where you become so overwhelmed, that you don't know what to do! I feel for you, and I hope that our notes of care and concern give you strength...Just continue to have the leap of faith in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit...Things will come together in due time, in the Lord's timeline...I pray that you continue to have faith and trust for you and your children, Robert in particular...Love in Christ...

We keep asking ourselves,"what will we do next?" We really need to ask, "what wil God do next in our lives?"

A prayer for Robert, that maybe over time his anger will abate, that his gifts will shine through and be recognized, that he may enjoy comradeship and praise from those around him. Give him self-confidence and love, God. And give his mother and siblings strength and patience to help him. Bless this woman and her family, that good times may be in store for them all. Amen

LORD ALMIGHTY please hear this prayer for Robert please reassure him that everything happens for a reason and mabey someday he will be able to see his father more but i also pray for his mother please allow her to stay strong she had good reasons for doing so bless her everyday In JESUS'S NAME AMEN
