My husband and my family. My husband has turned away from us and to alcohol. We miss him.

I have a broken Marriage and I don't know if there is hope for it to ever be what it was. We have been seperated for 18 months now. I'm worried that alcohol is getting the best of my husband.

Please pray for my family, my husband and I have been seperated for 18 months. We had tried marriage retreats at first, but we were both so emotional and full of anger, that it didnt work. He worked himself so hard 20 hour days 6 days a week for over 2 years, and always worked great jobs before that. However one day he snapped, quit his job, and started drinking heavily everyday. He seemed to angry all the time, never hurt us, but impatient, unmotivated, short tempered. I finally left with the kids, and now we all miss him, the real him. Please pray he can get a handle on the alcohol that has stolen him from his family, Please pray that the right path will work out for my kids and myself, we are all so confused. The divorce papers were filed, but I'm sick to my stomach and don't know if thats what is supposed to happen, PLEASE HELP!!

Father, thank you for being such a wise and almighty God. Thank you for being a God who makes and keeps promises. I come asking that you bless Danielle W., her husband, and her family. Lord, they are crying out for your help. Your word says in Psalm 34:17, "Righteous people cry out. The Lord hears and rescues them from all their troubles." Thank you Father. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
