Anger-driven person

I am a single mother,28, and my mom takes care of the child and is angry and controlling about it.

My mom has been anger since the day I was born. There's been times when she got angry everyday. This is one of those hectic times. The reason is because I gave birth to a beautiful baby named, Anabel, whom she seems to be taking care of a lot. I smoke a lot and she would take Anabel from me when I had a cigarette. Now it's like she always takes care of Anabel and I'm left, lonely with the cigarrettes. Today, I tried to space out the day with Anabel and chores. But she still got angry. And that makes me angry, but I don't usually vent like she does by yelling, I just walk off. I used to take care of my baby more, but she complained so much that I just stopped. She and my dad have not accepted Christ as their savior- totally, but they pray. I have.

	merlock 4/25/2010 23:20	From the sound of it, your mother is basically taking your child when you don't want her to, and then acting indignant if you refuse? You have to make it clear that this isn't acceptable, and that while you appreciate aid and want her to spend time with Anabel (provided she's not in a mood), your mother has to respect your own authority as a parent. In any event I pray that God is with you, and blesses you all for the best. Amen!
