Chantel F.
Feeling as if I am nothing might lead into SUICIDE...

Pray for me. Pray for me to graduate high school with a QPA of 3.0 or higher. Pray that I feel as I am nothing in life. Pray for me that I become a Medical Doctor. Mostly PRAY THAT I DO THE RIGHT THING IN LIFE,,,,

This year cause me to shed a lot of tears. School, family. This year I have called God upon a lot of my situations. I feel like as if I’ve taken advantage of his name, and I’ve sinned while doing it. I’m really trying to change. If I know my rights from wrong then why do I keep choosing the wrong path. The path that’s leaves me into my fears which ends up to failure? It’s times I ask God why, why should I smile when I dieing and hurting inside? Why do I feel like this? Why must I shed tears for everything that goes wrong in my life. Why do I feel like I am nothing. God tries to show me the way, but I still continue to choose that wrong path. It’s times like this I just want my insecurities to fade away. It’s times like this I want to commit suicide. I’m just tired of myself. I’m tired of being a failure. I want Jesus to show me the way. I want people to appreciate me for who I am.

If you really feel so low that you're thinking about suicide, I suggest you see some sort of professional for help. It sounds as if you're a high school senior, so perhaps it would be better, after the semester is over, if you take a little time off before moving on to college. In the long run it could be better to pause and straighten some things out, since it seems like you're really lost emotionally and spiritually.

May God please be with you, and guide you through everything for the best. Amen!

Loving Father, please bless and comfort our sister, Chantel. Bring her confident knowledge of Your love, and the certainty of her worth to You. Help her to walk closely with You, Lord, and bring her reassurance in her moments of need. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ - amen.

Dear Chantel,

We're sorry you feel so badly right now. It sounds as if you would benefit from talking to a caring person who is trained to help. We have three resources you could try. We hope you will contact one of them as soon as possible. You deserve to get help, and to get it sooner rather than later.

1. If you are in the U.S., call 1-800-SUICIDE any time, day or night. When you call this free number, you will be connected immediately to a caring, trained counselor in your region. The sooner you make this call, the better. (

2. If you can hold on for a few days, free anonymous crisis counseling is available by e-mail from an international charity called The Samaritans ( Send an e-mail to and you will receive a caring response within 24 hours.

3. There is a website you may find helpful, called

God loves you my dear don't beat yourself up. But I do believe you should take time off and go and get some counseling. It will help you. Don't look at counseling as being a defeat. Just know that God is the healer of us. He loves you more then you will ever know. Trust Him. You have some good advice here so please take it.

God is with you just call on His name.

Please remember God loves you. You seem depressed. Maybe you should ask your parents if you can find a therapist. I have one and she has prevented me from suicide a few times. I tried to kill myself 5 times growing up. That is not what God wants you to do, or me. I will keep you in my prayers. May God bless.

In high school I too felt sad almost all the time, and I can tell you this will pass too. Time does help ease this pain, but suicide is a permanent solution to problems that I promise you will pass. I am praying for you my friend with all the love I have in my heart. God bless

Chantel, you are so young and you have your whole life ahead of you; time to get things right. Not to make you feel worse, but some people in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s still choose the wrong path. But, at least you have the knowledge of Whom to call on. God is your present help in times of trouble. You don't take advantage of Him when asking for help. Just make sure that's not the only time you spend with Him (when you want something), for He desires a relationship with You. If your heart is sincere, He will forgive you for your sins. Once that is done, you need to forgive yourself. And although at times you may want to end your life...don't do it. Because the very fact that God allowed you to live to see another day, is proof that He has something He wants to do in and through you; and you can't fulfill His purpose if you are no longer here. Besides, ending your life is what Satan wants you to don't give him the satisfaction. Live your life...and live it for the Lord!

Father God, I thank You that Chantel will come to know who she really is in Christ. I thank You for leading, guiding, directing and protecting her. I thank You for increased anointing, spiritual growth, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, revelation, discernment, strength, comfort, peace of mind and patience. May she realize that in You she is secure, significant and accepted. Do a mighty work in her life. Send laborers into her path - godly people who will mentor her and minister to her. Prepare her heart and mind to be receptive of what is being imparted. I thank You for this and all blessings, in Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Chantal...beautiful Chantal....
please be faithful...and understand that THIS TOO SHALL PASS...
take your life one day at a time, sweet girl. KNOW that your name is written in the palm of the Almighty...and that Jesus himself, suffered, was humiliated, afraid, betrayed. HE experienced everything YOU are going through...and He taught us how to endure.
Please, dear girl...understand that YOU are not alone...
The legacy of suicide is not one you want to leave for your beautiful name.
Endure, sweet one...your triumph is just around the corner. In Jesus name...hold on to his Mighty Hand.
