A new Christian who needs your prayers

I am a new Christian who really needs a lot of prayer for finances and general health and a lot of encouragement.

I suffer from clinical depression and who has just recently gone through alcohol/drug rehab program. My finances are very bad right now and Satan is using all of this to discourage me & get me down and I am really craving alcohol to relieve the stress. If a financial miracle doesn't happen, I will not have a place to live much longer but I know that there are people much worse off than me. Sometimes it's just hard to realize that. I also know that God is a "miracle" God. If can save someone like me, he can do anything. So, I do ask for your prayers as I do believe God will answer. Thank you.

	preachermanbob 7/14/2001 22:28	I understand,depression and alcohol are my demonds too. I have fought alcohol for 30 years and am still fighting it, sometimes I win sometimes it wins. But I never stop trying, the lord will help all you have to do is believe in God and pick up a bible instead of a bottle. When you are depressed God will help you though. Never give up hope, and remember you are not alone. There are many people and organizations that can help. But the bottom line is, God. And his everlasting love for you. God belives in you and will help. Keep trying and never give up. Do not let the demond get the best of you. They don't call alcohol "Spirits" for nothing.
