Please pray for me

Please pray for me and an end to the turmoil in my life. In the last month and a half I have lost my job and my wife and I have had more fights and discussed having a divorce.

In the 8 1/2 years i have been married I have unfortunately been laid off a few times the latest this last July. The layoff is placing a strain on us and our finances are running low. I would ask for your prayers that

a. I find good lasting employment
b. those who now have my resume review with open mind
c. that God does not let us fall into financial trouble

Additional to the strain of the lack of work has on me it has placed a strain on my marriage. In the last month a half my wife and i Have said things to each that has been hurtful, spiteful and against the word of marriage.

One day we use the "D" word and the next we don't. I do not want us to get a divorce but am finding it hard to stay positive in light of so much stress in life.

Please pray that we:

1. Remove divorce from our vocabulary and focus on repairing our marriage

2. Soften our hearts that we stop saying hurtful things

3. Open our eyes and ears that we fully hear what the other is saying

Lord, you know I understand pesonally what he is going through, I am asking you to help me reconcile my own relationship, do not allow them to go down the same path. Give them strength Lord, give them strength. The pain I feel from losing my soulmate is something I do not want anyone else to feel. Lord I trust you will bless him with a job and times like this are to help us remember how your son suffered for us. Be patient, trust the Lord and continue to pray, your prayers will be answered and I will continue to pray for you.
