Our sons are incarcerated

This is a prayer circle for parents that have children locked up. We need others that are going through the same thing which is hurt, anger,sadness, depression and having a void in your heart because your family is not together.

I am a parent that has all of her sons locked up and trying to be strong for them while falling apart within. I keep everything bottled up and I have become very defensive and uncaring and that is not me and it is not the me I want to be for God.

It is hard for me to open up and let others in and my heart hurts because I want my family together and I have been praying for God to bring them home yet it has not happened. I feel like the one thing I want to most is the one thing I can't have. I feel so alone and lost and my faith is lacking and I am distant from God and even a little angry with God.

I feel like I have failed as a parent and it is all my fault and I don't want to feel like this but I do. I need prayers and to be able to let how I feel out but I don't let it out because I am not sure who I can trust plus life experiences and the pain which leads me to keeping a wall around my heart and on guard.
